McDonald's Restaurant in Erewash

Ordered a chicken select meal got the fries and the dips but no chicken selects, also ordered my daughter a fish finger happy meal and the fish fingers came inedible they were rock hard

McDonalds is what you expect. A straight forward fast food place. I have always found the experience to be good. I think I probably prefer breakfast to any other meal. The staff are always friendly and appear to work very hard. Thank you.

Came here after waiting an hour for Uber Eats delivery from a different McDonald's (the drivers kept taking the job, then cancelling it, until the other branch was closing at midnight). Knowing that Ilkeston's McDonald's is 24 hours, I put in an order on the McDonald's app before driving there. When I arrived, I went to the drive-through and sat waiting for somebody to ask for my order. After waiting for about five minutes, I decided to drive to a car parking space to go and check if they were open; because I hadn't seen any staff through any of the windows I could see. As I parked up, I finally saw staff members in the building, and oddly somebody finally walked into the drive-through payment window room; useful, since there were then no cars in the drive-through... There were several issues that occurred with the app, and getting my order registered, but that lays with the app service, not the branch staff. Once the order was successfully placed, however, it took a very long time to prep the meals. We were sat waiting, for about fifteen minutes. I realise that at night they will run a skeleton crew, and will be making most food directly to the orders received. Even so, I was beginning to wonder if they were baking the bread rolls with how long it took. The food was okay, although not particularly neatly made. The whole experience felt like the customers were being an inconvenience to what was supposed to be a quiet night for the staff. On the few occasions I have previously been to this branch, my experience was much better. So hopefully, next time I visit, the review will improve. On the plus side, you can almost always get a hot chocolate or a milkshake here. Which is more than a certain other (Ripley) McDonald's is able to achieve. (Last week, I was at the Ripley branch, and not only was there no hot chocolate or milkshake available, even their soda machine was off-line. The options were tea, coffee, or a bottle of Oasis.)

It is always busy but normally good.

First visit, parking was a nightmare as the queue for the drive through blocked the car park. Restau8rant rather small and was very busy being a Saturday. Queued to use the order screen. Food did come fairly quick though.

Was visiting the area the staff were very friendly 😀 clean restaurant highly recommend

Went to the drive through. Got what we wanted. It's a McDonald's..... what more can I say....

I do not reccomend. I went in there, waited 20 minutes to order and then another 40 minutes to get 2 burgers ready. Worst McDonald's customer service

Ordered from Uber, was taking a while. So I rang up and kindly asked if they could make sure my food was not cold. The guy on the other end of the phone was quite rude and stated “take it up with Uber” the food had not left the building yet so surely they could make sure it’s not cold. “We can’t keep making food” so that’s telling me it’s going to be cold. In a restaurant if you complained food was not of standard. Guess what they replace it. McDonald’s is a multinational company surely they can make sure burgers come out warm and they would have spares. Also a little alarming they are fully happy for knowingly poor food to go out. This makes zero sense to me.

Order the cheapest thing on the menu and you’ll always get a bargain because it’s a complete lottery on what will actually show up.

Totally wrong ordered sent tried to call to sort it out and got no answer useless will not try hear again sorry to whoever’s order we got it’s in the bin as we don’t like what u ordered

Took an hour to get here even though I went outside and waited, the driver went pass me 2x, my food was freezing when I got it and I’ve had to heat it up in the microwave.. my mozzarella bites was burnt and my chips were frozen!!!

Rubbish quality. Fries stone cold with no salt and soggy. Burger also warm and took an hour for one meal.

Really slow service once food was ordered. Very busy. Car park too small for what is in the area, so struggle to park.

Delivery time was moved 5 times despite the driver apparently being at the restaurant for half an hour. When food arrived it was stone cold. I don’t find this acceptable and will not use just eat again!!

Nearly 2 hours to have stone cold food delivered drinks had melted was absolutely disgusting!!! and only offered £6.25 as a refund won't be ordering from here again!

Not only did the time keep changing and end up being over an hour later but the food is absolutely freezing.

My order was continually saying courier was at the restaurant and the time kept getting pushed back and back. To the point I went down still saying courier was at the restaurant. Only to be rang by my partner saying he had just delivered it.

Always forget the sauces and cold

We ordered our food two hours ago and we are still waiting. Tried to call four times, but there was no answer. Probably a really rough night there, so I bet the employees are really stressed and I feel for them. Maybe we will receive our tea before midnight? 🫠

Really helpful staff, bit of a problem today but they sorted it and the Grandson ended up with a free fruit shoot so no complaints there.

I ordered at 5.25pm with at estimate time on the screen saying 10-30 mins. The order didn’t arrive till 6.55pm.

Not a fault with McDonald's. Just eat have the location of my house wrong & wont fix it no matter how many times I contact. I reheat everytime.

ordered a breakfast meal from here and not only was we waiting an hour, we soon found out that our order had been cancelled. not the first time we’ve had problems like this either, almost everytime we order from here they give us our order with something missing aswell as horrible cold chips and a squashed burger. don’t reccomend.

Took far too long, courier was sat alone at McDonald’s for at least 30 mins before setting off. Fires were cold and tough, burger was cold. And I was daft enough to pay a tip up front. Not happy

Every single visit to this McDonalds has a major issue. Wrong items, missing item, cold/overcooked/old/undercooked fries (take your pick). Burgers than have been slapped together and look like a 3 year old out it together. And this isn't taking into account how god awful slow it is. It clearly dosnt make its KPI's and corporate dosnt care. Its the only one in the area and frankly it's a joke. When is someone going to take notice and do something about it? Worst McDonalds I've ever been to.
