Fish was watery and slimly and there was no salt and pepper, the whole meal was pretty tasteless

the fish was very greasy and the batter very thick. the price of a small chips has gone up but portion size has gone down. we order from here alot but I think that may change

Just awful. Turned up at 7.30pm on a Saturday night. No one else in. Waited 15 minutes for small chips, curry sauce and chips and kebab meat..... if I wanted to stand for 15 minutes waiting for chips to cook I would stay in the comfort of my own home and cook them. And not have to pay a ridiculous £12.40 for the privilege. WILL NOT RETURN.

Received wrong order and on being told they would send someone, no one turned up

Best chippy in stoke. I just wish they didn't sell kebabs there. And pay them cash when possible.

They were on their mobile phone to just eat as I was waiting on the land line. They lied to just eat saying I was swearing at them (I was extremely pleasant). Then I was left on the phone for 19mins as they’d forgotten I was there. Food came 3hrs late, cold, mushy chips, greasy Donor meat and hardly any salad. Absolutely disgraceful.

placed my order at 18.46 it arrived 21.04. I dont mind an hour but this was ridiculous.

After a long day at work I decided to order in as I didn’t want to cook (Thursday not a major busy night) food arrived a little early (18:05) I went to plate up for myself and my kids and the main part of my meal (battered sausage) was missing. I quickly rang the shop and was met with an inconsiderate tone and told I’d get a replacement asap. I’m sat now at (19:20) and no replacement ever arrived. Cardboard like doner kebab meat and poor customer service. A previous regular I won’t be returning

Only got part of my order and the owner sed its not his problem it is the just eat diverers fault i didn't that the driver cooked the food poor poor service

Honestly paid £7 for medium chips chicken few chips in a small box not worth the cost. shocking the wait I had to wait for three items half hour.

Cod had a lot of grey on the fish, batter not as crispy this order. We ordered large chips, but only received regular size. Overall disappointing.

Could have done with more salad, other than that it was nice

kebab was dry and hard and mild chilli burned our mouths. chips were overcooked. fish wasn't the nicest and sausage tasted 3 days old. overall very disappointed and won't be ordering again not worth the money.

£7 for medium kebab meat and chips as soon as I saw it was being served up in a square shaped polystyrene container. I knew this was going to be a pathetic sized portion. Just glad I opted for the medium sized portion and not the small I direct to think how rubbish that would have been after all the £7 meal was lousy topped off with a can of Coke for £1.30. I was not impressed it would seem the business is now under new ownership as The last time I came the portion was huge piping hot and nowhere near £7 and I add that was after Covid.

Ordered tonight via uber eats . Was missing a large battery sauage and chips. This place is getting beyond a joke now. This is not the 1st time a item has been missing. Think we will use a different chip shop

Ordered on Just Eat, at around 8pm, waited until 10pm and food never arrived, asked for a refund but apparently food had already been delivered?

Had fish and chips from them for the past couple of weeks. Fish cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. Both the chips and the fish tasted excellent, and their curry sauce is yummy.

Ordered before never had a bad service before. But last nights doner meat was horrible, chips and nuggets soggy as they had been sat waiting for a driver I assume as delivery time kept getting pushed back. Hope its just a one off. Probs will try agai

didn't get our chips then when tried to speak to them the bloke couldn't even understand us. he said he was bring more chips but half of our food is cold. awful service!

Absolutely shocking customer service. All the money I spend with these and then our order got sent to someone else. who then decided to take half the food out for the driver to then come to us all opened up cold and soggy. For the manager to then say it’s not his problem so now I’m 36 quid down with 3 kids absolutely starving who was expecting something. Would have thought they looked after very often returning customers better if honest. Won’t be returning anymore

Food never arrived contacted them and manager said ok and then hung up first time. Then called back for them to say they will send fresh food. This never happened and received nothing at all

Fish and chips was nice but my husband had the kebab and he said it was the worst doner kebab he’s ever had, delivery time was 50 minutes just for 1 fish 1 kebab and a portion of chips which seemed very long

I asked for cabbage lettuce and onion. All I got was onion a a tiny bit of soggy wet lettuce. Also the smallest portion of chips I’ve ever seen, and cold.

the mushy peas are a green i have never seen before and tataste sooooooo salty will not be ordering them again 2 large chips are the size of 2 smalls, crazy... I feel I will go back to Royal chippy as the quality of the food is much better

Ordered on just eat kebab missing so rang the shop who were rude and saying the item was in the bag but I can assure you it was not they asked for order number and address and said they will look for it and hung the phone up on me . No surprise with how rude they were on the phone but no kebab sent or any contacts back from them. This is the second time items missing from my order from them.

ordered a few times and never had an issue. food is always great only thing is need a tad more salt and vinegar. next time order I'll write on note but overall can't complain its decent chippy. Will continue to order

Delivery took 2 hours to arrive. Poor customer service when i rang up as no information was given about delivery time. Then they hung up when i was mid conversation. When food did eventually arrive the fish was very soggy

Absolutely no problems . Used this Chip Shop a lot and they cook the fish fresh and the chips. And everything I've had so far has been spot on. Service good.

Found a parasitic worm in the fish resulting in three meals not consumed as put off and just eat only refunding the affected item cost only ..... Double disappointment 🤷🏻‍♂️

Rude owners and disgusting food, really gone downhill since been taken over. Wish the bloke that ran it before would come back such a nice guy. Chips tasted oily and burger was cold. Sort it out.

This place has gone downhill since being taken over. They had time to decorate my delivery bag, but couldn’t deliver warm food. Doner meat is inedible. Bloke on the phone can’t understand much English to listen to any issues.

Easy to order,delivered bang on time and the food was very hot and tasty
