McDonald's in Kettering

Service is always amazing and there's a few staff members who are really friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The place is dirty, especially when busy, dirty floors, dirty tables, no sauce in the dispenser, could just do with a bit more attention to detail, I understand it's a fast food restaurant but standards should still be there and McDonald's isn't exactly that cheap anymore.

Waited ages for food that was near enough cold when got it

Unfortunately it seems like we are in the hands of the delivery drivers. My order from the app of McDonalds was never delivered, i called mcdonalds who could not find my order, gave me ubereats help line, who can only help me if i have an an uber account. Fortunately was not a big deal, but we stayed hungry, and after 2 hours i rather just went to buy food...

Possibly the worst McDonald's I've ever had the displeasure of using. EVERY TIME I order from this particular branch you can guarantee something will be missing. 9 times out of 10 the straws or dips are missing from the order. Sometimes half a meal or a cheese share box are missing. If you happen to go in person you'll be greeted by feral teens inside and out. Just an awful experience every time.

Too many stupid guys from the street

I had a bit of time to kill before I caught a train so decided to get something to eat from the MacDonalds in Kettering High Street. Like the majority of MacDonalds restaurants nowadays they have touch screen panels for you to order your food from. I ordered my food and took a plastic stand so the staff would know where to bring my food. The restaurant was not particularly busy but there were no clean tables available. I ended up having to clear a table of rubbish so I could find somewhere to sit. It did not take long for my food to arrive and it was hot and tasted good which was the only pluses of my visit. It was frustrating that there were so many dirty tables as there were staff behind the counter who did not appear to be too busy working. Perhaps they should have been out in the customer area making things clean and welcoming for new customers?

Food is good however the people who u do find in McDonald's are mainly what u call road men and it makes everything very uncomfortable.

Staff are always friendly, the food is usually hot as well.

Quick simple and easy way to order food.

I was disgusted that the person cooking fries was also eating at his station. I saw him eating chicken nuggets as well as fries and a burger that he was eating while doing other things. I made a point today informing floor staff who laughed at me so I then spoke to the manager behind the counter. Again she was more amused than prepared to act…. Don’t eat here…..

got half a cup of hot chocolate and it tasted like hot water, not chocolate

The restaurant was Littered with food upstairs was also dirty tables full of crumbs. The floor was full of food on it, the place was just not clean. I wouldn't told the manager that upstairs was dirty, she said to me. Oh, sorry, it was supposed to be shut, and that no one supposed to be going upstairs. But it was open and it was so dirty even after I said it needed cleaning. No one went upstairs to clean.

Every other order from this place they always forget something , or they mix with something else what I didn’t ordered .

How smart do you have to be to work here! Always missing items on orders, ordered a mccrispy meal today and I received everything except the mccrispy burger. Sauces are always missing, drinks are always wrong. Sack all current staff and start again!!

So far one of the worst I've been in. Most of the staff were chatting away. It took about three of them to give a driver his order for a delivery. They weren't in much of a hurry. The restaurant was dirty from after the school kids had left and no one started to clear up till I was just about to leave with my food for take out. Bear in mind this was after 5pm!! The food was disappointing and as an ex McDonald's employee I couldn't believe it. There was no way the restaurant I worked in would've looked in that state.

Visited early Friday evening. Ordered from the till. Cashier seemed a little disinterested. As I was waiting for my order I decided to snap some pictures, which seemed to cause consternation amongst the management/supervisory team as conversations began to go back and forth within my earshot, before a voice of reason (manager in charge?) who basically said 'well, what are we going to do? Keep working!' The gentleman who passed my food over was very polite and quickly corrected a minor error. The cleanliness of the location was a little poor. They WERE busy as I saw them dealing with numerous delivery orders, but not one table was clean, so I perched on the end of a booth. The dining area person appeared to be on break, but with the bad weather too, other customers were walking in saying how they almost fell! Finally, the chicken select and fries were hot, and the sprite tasted very nice. However the crumbs were falling off the selects, which I believe denotes temperature abuse in the delivery process. All in all could have been better!

Someone earns money for your missing items from this Mc and that happened every time I order from here. It's just a joke and a crime.

I bought a McSpicy. The spicy crusty covered chicken fillet masquerading as a McSpicy was dry and tough at the edges, not to mention being as flat as a pancake. Unfortunately, I could not bring it back as I had taken it home to eat. That'll teach me. No more McD for me. PS At least it's service with a smile. Thank you.

Friendly staff but it seems they just work there to have fun. Small girl at the counter is really rude to customers and some dude in the kitchen was just eating while prepping food. Go else where

Completely wrong order.. app won't work when trying to solve the problem happened once before and let it go but two times in a row. It means that I have now had to take this further only being able to send an email after trying to call the local branch who ignore your number twice and the block your number. I then tried it three times with different phones each had the same result very disappointed.... On way to resolve in store...

I expected a terrible, artificially-curated hamburger and I got exactly what I wanted. Why complain if you know it's going to be terrible? If you truly hated fast food, why aren't you eating a hearty salad?

The 30% increase in the price of white coffee in the space of 2 days is appalling inflation isn't that much your prices keep going up and up. Not impressed

Food took 2 hours to get here and was freezing cold and the chips was stale. I'm pregnant so couldn't eat any of it. Was gross and didn't give me a refund.

Food was alright considering that all instructions were ignored. I even ordered additional burger and instructions on it were ignored as well. The team is clearing orders to the "collect order" just after they receive it (I assume it makes their statistics better) which makes this screen practically useless - you need to wait for staff shouting out your order. I ordered to sit in, but I got my food in a bag - not very welcoming. Overall it hope for it all to finish rather than enjoy the meal. Even though it is cheap as peanuts, I doubt I'll come again.

What an absolutely disgraceful place this is. Firstly when my daughter and I entered we walked into a group/gang of approximately 15 male youths, who were probably aged between 8-13 years old, the group consisted of hooded and zipped up to the point where their face's weren't visible through to vaping kids trying to blow large clouds. Other female youths were dressed like they were out on a Friday night pull (in my day it would be seen as a meat market). Don't get me wrong, McDonald's isn't responsible for how parents allow their children to behave or dress, but they are responsible for their own image and the staff should keep this image in check. When my daughter and I got to the order point I realised why we had walked into such a shambolic restaurant. The restaurant is run by mostly teenagers with what I can only guess have "very little" life experiences, with very little direction from the more experienced yet inexperienced management. As a customer, I had to ask to have my order taken!. Once the order was taken we had to stand near the toilets and the stench was enough to make you want to leave. As we were leaving another group/gang of youths came in then headed straight to the upstairs. It would appear that this is mainly a meeting point for youngsters rather than a fast food restaurant. 35 years ago I had work experience here as part of chef training (yes, my chef training had to include a fast food establishment) it was a completely different place, it was fast paced with all walks of life coming through the doors and management that was older and on the ball. I sincerely hope that a senior McDonald's manager sees this post and addresses the issues raised. Food wise typical McDonald's and it was luke warm. To sum it up TERRIBLE.

Has to be the dirtiest McDonald's . Popped in for a coffee when it first opened at 8am. Crumble, stains you name it all down the tables on the meadow Road side. Ugh.

Do not order food via an app, uber in particular, we always seem to get missing food and both the restaurant and uber refuse to acknowledge its their fault?? Simple job...check the order before packing!

Sausage and egg mr muffins - great start to the day.

Breakfast wasnt right and wasn't even what we ordered on my order . Order 2 happy meals with apparently failed to pack chicken nuggets and both of the drinks. my big tasteys lettuce that was in it tasted like it was from removed out of a bin, while cola drinks were half full smelling and tasted of cleaning chemicals, all lately arrived to be severed up stone cold and disgusted come on mcdonald's

Gone downhill so much in recent years. Filthy, dirty, chaotic, queues, crowded with delivery drivers, dirty screens, tables and sticky floor. Toilets....don't ask. Please McD's you can do better for a restaurant where people like to take their children. Visited today but just left without buying. Better to go to Northfield Avenue where it is clean and calm.

Went in to McDonalds in Kettering Sunday evening. There was a problem with the self service payments but the staff were really helpful and the service very fast. The customer service was excellent and there was a sense that the staff were working well together. Have never left a review for a McDonalds, but this positive experience was worth commenting on.

Popped in for an egg and sausage Mc Muffin. Prices up, portion sizes down. Disapointing. However the tables and floors were clean and tidy. A very pleasant staff member took my order and it was delivered promptly. Being in the town centre, parking is not nearby. So after a mooch round the shops, it's very handy for a quick break. Toilets were clean, neat and tidy. Overall, not bad, just the serving size that disapoints.

Delivered incorrect order. Tried to phone the restaurant for 45minutes ended up having to drive to restaurant gave them the incorrect order back waited 15minutes for correct order to be made when I got back home burger and fries were cold and no salsa supplied for mozzarella sticks. Won't be going back or ordering from McDonald's again.

We ordered food and it didn’t get there on time but a lovely member of staff Nicky saw that we didn’t have our food approached us and got our order immediately she made my day and was so polite and felt really bad for us I would recommend coming to this restaurant

Nothing worked. We could only order from one electronic board, but it wouldn't process the payment. There was colouring in pages for the children, but no crayons. Staff, however, were very friendly and especially the young man, working the floor.

Turned into quite an abortion of a fast food restaurant. For about a week now the digital customer order/checkout machine hasn't been giving receipts, and the actual card machines seem to be missing

Although there was only one pre pay machine working..& it being a busy Saturday are food order took minutes & was nice & hot & staff were as always polite & curtious..

Giving a McDonald's five stars feels strange. Did I love it? Not particularly. Did my five year old wear me down with incessant requests? Almost certainly, and that applies to whichever visit really because this is located right by the park, making it a convenient toilet stop and tantrum trigger. The staff are polite and frankly, one woman who works here is basically a Saint in terms of patience levels for noisy children, so that's a bonus. If you have kids and are concerned about them causing a ruckus anywhere you go, I would recommend this Mcdondalds because they seem to understand that they are catering to a bunch of tired kids from the park, and they have accepted their lot.

Usually on top form menu wise, with the usual offerings; BUT have to give my opinion on the McSpicy... 🤢, sorry McDonald's this is a no no, 1st guilty again of overselling the presentation, looks nothing like on the TV, 2nd, resembles something I'd get 4 of in a box from a Freezer store, 3rd over spiced in taste..... its just awful, and if I want to give it the Coup de tat.... it really is a poor man's version of a Zinger tbh. Get it off the menu and in the bin where it belongs.

Went for breakfast this morning with my partner, fast service and food was delicious! Staff are always friendly and quick to help, it’s good to see covid measures are still in place which makes seating in comfortable, will definitely be coming again.

Ate in on a Saturday evening, awful food, was freezing, the place was filthy and hardly anywhere to sit, the security guards had the best seats 😂

Absolutely nuts experience - ordered table service- didn't arrive - went to check to find out someone had collected our food and was eating it IN THE RESTAURANT WHILE WE WAITED - the staff member went to challenge them to find out they had only ordered an expresso but cheekily grabbed our food as well. The staff didn't remove our fod from them but allowed them to continue eating and finish - apparently it happens all thebtime according to staff. Well no wonder it does if you let them eat it at one of your tables and even let them finish it without chucking them out !

We ordered from here, through just eat, for delivery. Over half an hour later the food arrived, hooray we thought. A main item, chicken legend, was missing and the veggie deluxe ordered without lettuce appeared to be stuffed with extra lettuce and not the extra items requested. Faffing around trying to get this rectified took too long and was not possible. Just eat cannot refund in this case for some reason, and trying to phone the restaurant was pointless, no one answered and you can't even leave a message. Have never had an issue with an order from any other mcds I am glad to say, and will not be ordering for delivery from this one again.

The chips were too chipsy. Didn't like that. The burgers were too burgery. Didn't like that. The chicken was too chickeny. Didn't like that. The oil was oily. Didn't like that. The sauces were saucy. Didnty like that. Pepsi was pepsi. That's cool.

Instore service is terrible now as drive thru & delivery drivers are priority. Need to sort it out, stand for 5 minutes waiting on just a coffee sometimes.

The layout of this restaurant is quite cramped. We placed an order at the touch screens and didn't really have anywhere to stand to wait for our food. We found ourselves standing right next to people sitting down eating. It was a little uncomfortable. There is a huge pillar in the middle of the room which takes up quite a lot of space and an area for staff which was cordoned off. Would recommend putting the staff area somewhere else so customers have somewhere to stand and wait. Food was good as you would expect from McDonald's

When ordering on the screens it asked us to use and type in the number on A card to place on our table but there wasn't any. Half of the seats were cordoned off for delivery orders so as a family of four me had to sit separately on two different tables.

Very busy but food came straight away

I ordered my food and when the delivery man came the order he brought was wrong he took it back with him and said he would tell them at the shop . I never recieved my food but got charged the £20.15 and now after trying to get it resolved I am now out of £20 as paid for food I have not recieved . If This happens a lot imagine how many people have had money taken and not recieved the food nor had the refund. It’s been very difficult for help to resolve this and i wanted to make people aware so it does not happen to them. Very disappointed in the service and will not be using this service again

Order sometimes through uber eats, there always seems to be a problem with my order! Just recently I ordered 2 big mac meals and they thought it would be funny to just send the buns with no meat! I've had items missing, food that looks as though a donkey has prepared it.. Actually a donkey would do a better job!

If it was possible to leave less than a 1 star review I would. I don’t understand how hard it is to get a burger right with no sauce and no cheese. I received this with cheese however I put no cheese and I wanted salad they didn’t even bother to put salad in the burger. I would suggest reading your orders before actually sending them out to customers as it makes you look fairly stupid. I know I shouldn’t expect A* customer service from mc Donald’s however I expect a standard service at least as it does cost money. I also would recommend fries that aren’t soggy and cold. Don’t bother coming to high street mc Donald’s if you do don’t do delivery and check your items in store soon as they have given you them.

0 star very bad and rude behavior from staff. Not even ready to give some extra sugar and supplier said people are asking for more sugar so can't give more than 2. My suggestion is to bring sugar with you if buy coffee from here.
