Sam's Chicken in Kettering

you have just given me food poisoning. i just got a wrap w very uncooked chicken and i was munching away enjoying it and ive throw up everywhere guys come on

Jackson's fried chicken is absolutely delicious! The perfect balance of crispy outside and juicy inside. I can't get enough of it, definitely my go-to for any craving. Highly recommend trying it out!

Shocking service from one of the cashiers! He was very rude and ignorant....called to serve next customer while we were still at the counter and even said hurry up I have other people to serve then before we know it he shouted next please... Got more shocked as we opened our burgers when we got home. The bun was stale, chips were about 10 in each packet. And that came as a punishment to us! Such a dissatisfying moment I took the picture of the stale bun but unfortunately there is no email to send to

I will never have KFC again! Loving the chicken burgers and the wings. Chips are great too and a decent portion! Not wild about the mayo (vinegary) but who needs mayo when the chicken is that good.

You do know you need people to run a shop but with your behaviour I wonder how that shop still runs

They lack manners I went there and bought chips and chicken but was missing two chicken wings,so I told them and he just started shouting at me Like is it my fault they got the order wrong

Decent chicken much better the the kernels. Found it had good flavour and was hot when arrived. Not sure what spice they use but it made it taste amazing. I really do think that this will be my favourite chicken outlet. Local and extremely fast delivery the price is reasonable too. Would highly recommend this outlet for any friends and family to try out and also good for fried chicken lovers. Well done to the staff for the perfection in the making of the coating of the fried chicken. No complaints at all.

Iv been going to this shop for years, only recently iv noticed this one guy was acting funny to awards me, I said to a friend that the guy was acting weird everytime i walked in, if he was on tills he'd walk off talk in hes own language and another colleague would walk on and serve me, I go in again a week or 2 later and as soon as I walk through the door he loudly tells me before you order we have no chilli sauce, I thought it was abit weird for him to say that to me but because the way he spoken to me I turned around and walked out with embarrassment, so I walk back in today as my kids wanted chicken and chips, again talks in he's own language the man from the back comes to serve me but smiling/laughing, and than I see him trying to hide all the sauces, I thought very strange so I asked him what he's probably was with me and apparently everytime I'm in there I make a mess, I never sit in store I always get a take out so I was shocked and said me? He said yes you made a mess all over my sides, I asked to see this cctv footage of me making this "mess" and he walked off around the back and wouldn't speak to me, I told him I was reporting him and he told me go ahead they won't do nothing anyways, so I have rung head office and put in a complaint and have asker for this cctv footage of me making a mess, I am a 35 years old woman, I think I'm a bit old to be making a mess now don't you! Iv never felt so much disrespected in my life and wrongly accused of something so silly, I will be chasing this up again tomorrow and I will not let this go I am not letting this 'man' treat me the way he have been these last couple of months, absolute complete disrepect to customers!

We love Sam's.. seems the only takeaway that's worth trying in the fast food category here in Kettering. Staff is extremely cordial and friendly yet very professional.

Foods good, chicken is the best in town.

Absolutely love this place! They get orders spot on! quick and affordable! Great people and they definitely know customer service! The only downside is how drunks just trash the place with no respect!! When people go clubbing Friday or Saturday people are so unkind to the staff. I definitely recommend their LOADED FRIES, they will not disappoint!

Check your order before collecting. Almost every time I order there's something missing. Not sure whether they do this on purpose or the guys are just to busy chatting to each other rather than focusing on service. Food is ok though.

dont let kids eat in even though there were kids sat down eating, bunch if mongs. They should just let people in.

One of the nicest fried chicken places in town

Not happy, ordered club max box meal and feel completely ripped off, although the food is nice I’ve paid £8.99 for a burger about the same size as a mini fillet from KFC despite the picture looking like a massive burger, on top of that there was no sauce in my burger and none with my wife’s rice box even tho it was paid for.

lazy workers, they switch off uber after 6pm , cancelled my order and not willing to switch on when calling the restaraunt. it happened twice this week. Not worth ordering from them. this shows lack of respect to the customers!

I placed an order with Uber . No update within an hour so I cancelled. This lot want to retain 19.99. There is no way it takes an hour to cook a few pieces of chicken and get it out of the door

Had a meal from here last night, best chicken I've had in ages. This is what KFC should be like, moist and tasty chicken but not excessively greasy, hot wings were juicy and spiced just right. the chips were crispy and good, and the burger was out of this world. I'll definitely be ordering again.

Placed an order on there web page for collecting only to be told when I got there that they no longer take orders online or there web page but they still took my money when I placed the order 🤬 person behind the counter was as helpful as a chocolate Firegaurd will not Be using again

Size of fries portion is better/larger than at KFC 😉 good alternative to get your southern fried chicken fix from. They also do peri peri chicken there.

Poor management yesterday I ordered a box meal for £7 and found a piece of hair on my fries while I was inside I could see mould on the ceiling corners and pieces of bones on the floor poor service took approximately 10-20 minutes before I received my meal and then asked for a new one and was blamed for trying to get a freebie the workers are rude and only seem to care about their money. 🤮

Chicken wings changed to niblets. Probably haven't change fryer oils for months. Wings were almy charred.

Good: very nice food, we love the wings and the menu is huge and reasonably priced. Bad: The service is average and its better to take away as its not a nice place to sit in because of cleanliness and chairs always being all over the place so front of house needs attention.

Fill it burger inside was raw chips was half done and chicken was half raw inside I threw up after eating a bit of it

Just bought 20 hot wings - all of the 20 wings were same type, usually you should get a mix of them !!! Also few weeks ago ordered peri peri chicken wings- all of them were burnt - I feel they try to sell those left overs cheekily to certain customers...

Excellent food always cooked to perfection.. staff have always been friendly.. It’s a bit like KFC but a million % better food and service..

Great food, especially at the end of a night out

I went here this evening to get something to eat after a 16 hour day. I've been here many time before and I've never had to complain about the food. It's always been nice and cooked well. The chicken I bought tonight still had a heart beat. F@k!n disgusting!!!! I won't be going back here. I just hope I'm not up all night being sick. I will be reporting this to the food standards agency.

Chips were good, batter was good, but the chicken itself was dry and sad

Coz they charge much than they give and even they portions are very small

From all the chicken I have had since I came to Kettering, theirs is the best and their customer service is highly commendable. Moreso, you don't have to break the bank to have a good meal.

Was very good, now is very poor. Always used to get a good meal. Now previous time I went wings were very small with barely any meat and very dried out and shrivelled up, chips were stone cold. Hoped it was a one off, just been again and wings were again very small with barely any meat. Clearly not now looking after customers. I don't want tiny Chicken wings so will no longer use them. I'll be going elsewhere.

Accepted an order, tool payment at 8pm and never delivered. Now closed and no answer.

Placed an order on Just Eat at 8.08pm with an estimated 40 min wait. Sams accepted the order but updated to two hours wait!!! Surely it cant be that bad. Anyhow I waited nearly three hours, rang just eat to be told they were closed now and the food wasn't coming. They just couldn't be bothered to deliver or to contact me to say it wasn't coming.

I visited in June 2020, and honestly this English guy who served me, absolutely fantastic! Their food is reasonably priced and their food is good but I dont really eat much of it as I'm fussy as hell. 10/10 would go there again

We used to go here but then something changed and it went downhill. Tried about a year later to see if it had gone back to being good and it had, had another one a couple of weeks later and still good. Very happy with this place and very nice staff too.

Me gusta Sam's Chicken porque es mejor que KFC o Macdonal por el servicio pero no estafan como el sams porque el sams chicken aumentan mucho los precios de las comidas y en un 10-30 por cientos más y eso es demasiado por ejemplo hoy yo pedí un chicken wrap que cuesta £3,79 y antes era 3,49 y eso no me gusta.

Stumbled upon Sam's chicken and was very impressed with the food. I went with my kids the service was good and the whole family was happy with the food more than I thought we would. If we have takeaway we have KFC but Sam's chicken was just as good and a better price.

Popped in after a long day out - had to wait a bit for my order. The food was hot and reasonably priced. The previous reviewer seems to have a problem with foreign staff- Kettering is multi-cultural town so what do you expect! If you want restaurant food visit a restaurant - this is a fast food outlet and seemed busy with lots of different cultures buying so can't be that bad.

Amazing chicken and great value for money, equally as good as KFC
