I recently visited your place, KFC- Trafalgar St-Burnley, on February, 2025, and was extremely disappointed with my experience—both with the service and the unfair parking charge I later received. I ordered food to eat in, as the restaurant was not busy. We placed our order and waited a long time before realizing that our food still wasn’t ready. I could see the staff were busy behind the counter, but the delay was unreasonable. Eventually, we had to ask about our order, at which point the staff confirmed it was ready and brought it to our table. Right away, I noticed that my drink wasn’t served, and I had to ask for it. By the time we finally got our food, it was already getting dark, and since I had a 40-minute drive home, we couldn’t finish our meal at the restaurant. To save time, we had to take our food with us and eat on the way. Then, a week later, I received a parking charge notice from VARS, stating that I had overstayed by approximately 12 minutes—despite the 60-minute parking restriction. This is completely unfair, as the delay was caused by slow service at your restaurant, not by me taking too long to eat. I immediately tried to contact the KFC branch by phone (using the number listed on Google), but no one answered. I then reached out to KFC’s Facebook page to complain, only to receive a dismissive response saying that 60 minutes is “adequate time” for eat-in customers. This is unacceptable. I clearly explained that the long wait time for food was what caused me to exceed the parking limit. Had I known that: 1. The staff were going to ignore eat-in customers, leading to a long wait time, and 2. The parking enforcement was so strict, I would have gone to McDonald’s instead or simply paid for extra parking. To make things worse, KFC’s response was to offer me a voucher. But why would I return to a restaurant where I spent over £20 on food, only to be hit with a £60 parking fine (even at the reduced rate within 14 days)? I can’t even give the voucher to family or friends, because I wouldn’t want them to go through the same frustrating experience. KFC needs to reconsider its parking policy. A 90-minute free parking limit should be the minimum for food establishments, especially for families. Imagine if I had brought my nieces and nephews for a birthday party, with a pram—would 60 minutes still be enough? Clearly not. And now, KFC claims there’s “nothing else” it can do except offer a voucher? Really? That’s the best you can do?

Worst customer service I’ve ever received in my life all staff are completely rude and dismissive weren’t trying to give updates on time frames of order. It’s okay that store is busy but when you can’t even answer it Customer just questioning how long order is going to be disgusting behaviour. It also seems that they are racist because they were being very much more tentative to people of white complexion however when me and my partner try to speak to them, we actually just wait. They just said wait wait wait and ask for manager we told the manager is busy. Clearly racist also at the fact that we also witnessed a drive I get spoken too disgustingly at one point we even saw the ladies say to one of our colleagues that the driver was a N word. This was 8:25pm Saturday 15th March. White lady wearing hat claiming to be deaf

Will never order from them again. Placed an order a month in advance as a suprise gift for a relative. The parcel was delivered to a different resident at the same address as the recipient but it came in fully branded packaging which the recipient saw on the ring door cam. So the surprise was ruined. On further inspection, I discovered the items which were delivered were not at ALL what I had purchased, almost every single item had been substituted and no one had the courtesy to let me know. I chose my order specifically based on the items listed online and it didn't state anywhere that items could be substituted. I contacted CS and was offered a 20% discount and 10% refund. A discount is useless to me as I will never buy from them again and a 10% refund when the wrong items were delivered is not good enough. Appalling. Will avoid like the plague.

After KFC increased their prices by around 30% recently i vowed to boycott them but today my daughter insisted we go. So we went and ordered 2 box meals, what a massive disappointment! The so called chicken burger was 90% batter, i genuinely struggled to find the chicken. (See pictures, please note that there isca hadh brown on top of the so called chicken burger which is taking up most of the room between the buns) The 1 piece of chicken which used to literally be half a chicken, juicy and filling was the same size as a Chinese chicken ball, dry as sawdust and full of bones. I honestly hope and prey that KFC close down soon as not only have the took the mick with their price increase but then they also rob you of the meal you are paying 30% more for and give you 90% less food !! Even my daughter said today that this was her last visit as the lack of chicken chicken in the burger was ridiculous . Please see photos and play "find the chicken " KFC lost mecas a customer with their price increase and they have set it in stone now with their disgusting food. My Daughter is gonna get all her friends and colleagues fron University to boycott them too so really hoping they with close down eventually.

Had no Gravy, Krushem's or Boneless fillets, but took shy of £60 order and didn't even have the decency to ring me to say the items were not available. Wouldnt refund my money even though I paid this store. Was told to go online to obtain a refund as the store can not issue refunds. Surprise surprise went on their website, and entered all the relevant information that took me to a screen that said to contact Care Squad. Clicked the link but was in a never-ending loop that takes me to the main screen of their website. Had to initiate a refund through my bank and I'm now lodging a complaint with trading standards and KFC's head office. The staff were unhelpful and appallingly rude.

Tienen un puesto en el vestíbulo en Lord's durante los principales partidos de cricket (y muchos otros lugares, también). Aunque no hay nada malo con su dulce, sus precios son absolutamente por las nubes - ¡altos! (Y eso también incluye dulces hervidos.) El caramelo es principalmente azúcar y mantequilla: por lo que cualquiera puede hacerlo a un costo muy bajo. Sin embargo, cobran alrededor de £ 3. ¡50 por 100 gramos! If I could’ve given 0 stars I would’ve. We had A 2 hour wait when recommended 30-50 mins and a complete Lack of communication when we rung to see where the food was. We were told it would arrive within 2-3 minutes which led to a further 20 minute wait. The food was vile. I wouldn’t have fed it to my dog. The wrap had clearly been cooked hours before, it had chewy inedible chicken and was wrapped in paper that was completely stuck to the wrap to the point we couldn’t separate the two to eat it. The juices were leaking through the wrap, through the paper and through the foil packaging which I’m sure is not normal. Absolutely disgusting I would not recommend.

I don't know why I order from here and get it delivered they never get the order right they always miss something off are order and you phone up to try and get it redelivered they never answer the bloody phone. I have a child so up set here now. Am surprised it's still going. It's not good enough never doing this again.

To put simply I wouldn't bother ordering after the chaos tonight, I would like to say to the female manager on shift tonight thank you a million times for putting up with everyone single handedly tonight as your other manager sat back and watched it all unfold saying he was working in the office to fix stuff behind the scenes basically a long way of saying he's the only chicken in KFC tonight.

We ordered a rice box with an extra fillet and a fillet burger. The rice and salad were just stuffed into the box with no dressing. 4 fillets were in the box, not even cut up with a drizzle of dressing. The fillet burger was literally a burger bun (dry) with a fillet between it. The fries (over £2.25 EACH portion) were tiny, limp and just about warm. This pile of rubbish cost £21.05. There was no care at all with preparing this meal. We will not be using this outlet again.
