The food was average and tasted store bought,however the chicken bites were of a good quality,the rest was very average and wasn’t as nice as I thought it would be in comparison to the price I expected a bit more

In the last couple of weeks we've tried to eat here twice. The first time we arrived at 20.45 only to be told they were closing, despite advertising their closing time (and with a big sign on the door saying as such) as 23.00. The second time we arrived at 19.45 and were told that they were fully booked, even though only a quarter of the tables were occupied. When I questioned that, we were told the kitchen was 'very busy' and the waitress pointed to one table which appeared to have about 8 people seated. When we walked past an hour later, having eaten elsewhere, they were the only customers in the entire restaurant. If they can't cope with more than one table on a Saturday night, what's the point in being open? Given the reviews on here, perhaps they don't want people to actually eat in there. We have eaten there previously, once in the restaurant and once with a takeaway, and the food was mediocre at best and the takeaway order we were given was wrong, but thought we'd try again as Sudbury is so limited with restaurant choices. We definitely won't bother trying again.

Ordered takeaway for delivery 6-6.30pm. Arrived 6.45pm totally wrong. Called complained and they said new order would be delivered in 30 minutes. arrived 15 minutes later. Assume it was our original order as Correct burgers and fries but luke warm at best. Total waste of money (£35) Next time I get a takeaway burger it will be McDonalds better food and better value

Poor experience, was called 1hr 15mins after placing an order to inform me it was going to be another hours wait. Understand its a Friday and will be busy but I think 2hrs 15mins is an unacceptable wait for a takeaway. Think they may have some delivery driver issues so maybe worth not offering this service for now.

Sudbury doesn’t have the best options for takeaway and on the surface this place may seem ‘good’ but unfortunately the burgers are really bad. The patties are super small, overly sweet and come in huge pretzel buns that take over the burger. It’s almost like the company doesn’t know how to make a basic burger correctly. The amount of bread left over from our burger meal was silly. Really don’t rate this place at all.

Booked a table for 7:30 on a Saturday evening. We got there and went upstairs as per the sign. Completely empty, really hot and it had the feeling of a train station waiting room but with tables. No atmosphere whatsoever. We waited a few minutes, nobody came, we left and went to Lydia restaurant instead. We tried to phone them but nobody took our call. A message said call back later. We won’t bother again.

After reading reviews I was hesitant to give the place a chance but a few of my friends had told me how great the food was so I thought I would give it a go! I'm so glad that I did, the burgers were juicy and the fries were so tasty albeit the portions were massive so I couldn't eat them all, I would of if I could have! The service was also super friendly and helpful and were more than happy to give recommendations. Thank you and I will be back!

lets start at the very begining. you enter the pizza restaurant first where a sign points you in the direction of the burger area upstairs. no sign to say if you need to wait to be seated or if you just take a seat. in these covid times its can be uncertain what to do. So downstairs I go. to ask what do we do. also told the waiter we are a party of 6 and there are only 4 and 2 tops upstairs. he says there is a 6 top so just take a seat. I go back upstairs no 6 top so I just move a 2 top onto our 4 top. The menu is printed on the table with a qr code to scan and order. so I order drinks. with 3 children and a very poor selection of soft drinks. coke, diet coke, lemonade sparkling water or tap. no j2o or orange juice. my daughter dont like fizzy so went for tap. Then it came to ordering food. 1 of my kids is a very fussy eater. you scan the qr code, pick your burger then you can add or take away some of the options. And there lies the problem. you can only take away some of the options. some things remain. So downstairs I go again. was told if we think we need it they can take a manual order. I said thankyou and this would be the better option. so after we have all decided what we want. I had to go downstairs again to say we were ready to order. It would of been nice if I had said we wanted to order manually that someone came up to see if we were ok. In all this time I had ordered a cup of tea on the app that had still not arrived. Finally a young lady came to take our order. My friend was paying separate to us so decided to put his order through the app. but once it came time to pay on the app it froze. meaning once they returned with our drinks he also had to order manually. Then the food arrived. What can I say about the burgers except disappointing. it did say on the menu they are only 2x4oz patties so yeah not exactly big. Thank goodness we ordered plenty of sides otherwise we still would of left hungry. Also they were so greasy the bottom of the bun was soggy and fell apart. I'd rather go into one of the local kebab shops get a half pounder for half the price and receive a better quality burger. cutlery didn't arrive until after I had eaten my burger. The nacho's we had ordered the sauces on the side. Well there were a few full nacho's on the top and then the rest were just crumbs. like as if they had emptied the bottom of the pack. not big enough to dip into a sauce. Can we also mention the building itself. Holes in the ceiling and wall with wires behind it. Broken air con and a broken lock on the toilet door which lead to a moment of embarrassment for my wife. considering how long this place has been open I was quite shocked at how poor this was. The only saving grace was the young lady had used a bit of common sense when it came to the bills and had actually done my friend a separate bill to ours. I will mention that some fries didn't arrive with our order, however the young lady did take responsibility and admitted she forgot to put them through. people make mistakes and I don't have a problem with that. If that had been the only issue this would of been a better review.

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening, it wasn't that busy, quite a few take away orders were being collected. I'm going to cut these guys a wee bit of slack though. The burger I had (American) was lovely, fries were good, but the service needs serious work, it's all over the place. Unorganised and some staff clearly hadn't been trained very well. We waited a long time for our food and were given free drinks because of this. Why are there no burger menus? You have to go and look at one that's printed on a table? There are some problems that need sorting, hopefully they'll get there.

Had never used or visited this restaurant so thought I would order for home delivery for the first time, how I wish I had read some reviews before placing my order for 1 original burger and triple cooked chips. It took nearly an hour to arrive and what I received was a luke warm burger that was tough and triple cooked chips, which they describe as "cooked three times for crispness", they were cold, black soggy potato wedges that were tasteless and not pallatable. I may have had 50% off the full cost but for the £7.00 I spent on food plus £2.95 on delivery I should have stuck with Mcdonalds. Would definitely not recommend the food.

It started with the entire vibe of the place. It just felt like it was lacking something, like it started with the best of intentions but just missed the mark. We actually nearly got up and left because everything just seemed incredibly lacklustre. The staff seemed friendly, but completely inattentive. To the point we popped outside for a second after being there and the person who seemed to be running the place said ‘thanks for coming’ even though we had been there 10 minutes and our food wasn’t even close to coming out. To start, the ‘Cajun fries’ were basically plain fries, without any seasoning on them. Now for the burgers. Both myself and my friend are vegan and prior to arriving were quite excited to try their vegan options. There were two options, which is great! Nice and simple, usually means that the place has put effort into it so they’ll probably be good. This idea was quickly abandoned as we saw the pictures of the burgers in the menu. Now, I am one to give a chance, so decided to order anyway and we each got a different one. It was like there was no effort put into them whatsoever. Like it had just been thrown together. The ingredients did not even remotely resemble the freshness you would expect from a freshly made meal at a restaurant. There was barely any lettuce, and the lettuce that was in there seemed like it had been repurposed from some meal deal sandwich. The texture of the patty itself was actually pretty good, but incredibly bland. The bun, incredibly disproportionate to what was inside it. The ‘smashed’ avocado in mine tasted like it was taken from a pot of cheap shop bought guacamole. The only redeeming factor was the red onion jam was actually quite tasty, however, it was just dolloped on one side of the burger and was gone after the first bite. I have honestly never been so disappointed in a meal I’ve ordered at a restaurant. On top of that, if you’re gonna do a five guys style menu and charge £10 for a burger and £4 for the fries. At least make sure that the food is up to scratch. I would also like to add that this was not during a bury period, being midday on a Sunday. The restaurant was nearly empty. The only time any staff came up was to give people their food and drinks. Wish I had just gone to the shop and made my own instead. Would not recommend.

Home delivery order, food arrived cold and there were missing items. I never received the refund I was promised. Staff are clueless/unaware of their refund procedures. Spent nearly two weeks and numerous calls being told they had already refunded me and would have to get their area manager to investigate the matter and they would call me back. I never received the call backs, after my 5th phone call, I was finally advised it was in fact Just Eat who had to process the refund, who have now refused as it’s outside their 72 hours policy. This wouldn’t have been the case if the staff at Burger Amour in Sudbury had not lied and advised they had processed the refund on multiple occasions and promised call-backs which never happened. To make matter worse, the food we received was disgusting and most ended up in the bin.

Ordered fish , chips , mushy peas and mild curry to take out . The food was inedible . The fish was dry and overcooked the batter tasted disgusting like it had been fried in dirty oil . The chips were dry and looked like they had been cooked and warmed up about 3 times . The peas were so green they looked nuclear . The curry was so mild it had no taste . Now I have been here before and not had a problem but the ingredients are definitely cheap and nasty and the cook needs lessons . I will not be going back .
