Mi hija y yo visitamos tarde en la noche en agosto de 2024. Nos recibió un miembro del personal que necesitaba capacitación en cómo saludar a los clientes. Hicimos nuestro pedido y tocamos mi tarjeta en su dispositivo. Ella fue e hizo el pedido, luego regresó y me pidió que pagara de nuevo. Dijo que no me vio pagar. He dicho que revises tu máquina para la última transacción. Ella dijo que no podía y yo le mostré mi confirmación, que no pude porque estábamos de visita desde Barbados y no tenía wifi. Nos fuimos sin comida pero el personal de servicio se reía sugiriendo que estábamos tratando de estafarlos. Desde entonces he recibido la confirmación y se la he enviado, pero no quiero devolverme mi dinero. ¡LADRONES! No voy a meter raza en esto porque odiaría pensar que los caucásicos que servimos a mi hija negra y a mí, tuvimos desafíos en esa área. Cruzamos la carretera hacia el mejor kebab de Londres y estamos impresionados por la calidad del servicio supremo y la comida, que era fantástico 👌🏾

On my way home from a gig I made a purchase on 15/12/2023 paid by contactless payment. The assistant pointed to the machine was behind the glass shelf and when I tapped my card against the glass the machine approved the purchase but the assistant stated that it didn't go through, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and tapped it again, this time she said it was successful. I then checked my card app on my mobile phone and there were 2 pending transactions for the same amount. I showed the assistant and she tried to fob me off stating that one of the transactions will 'drop off' and I'll only be charged once. I stood my ground and said if there are 2 pending transactions I'll be charged twice and they still tried to tell me some BS even though they acknowledged that they were 2 pending transactions and admitted that sometimes it happens. By this point I lost my appetite, cancelled my order and was refunded for one transaction. Fast forward 24 hours and both transactions were on my statement, I had to make a 14 mile round trip to show them I was actually charged twice. They apologized and refunded my money. It's the principle of the matter more than the money. Be very wary using contactless payments in this establishment.

Despite the fact that, when ordering, I specifically asked for a salt beef bagel with "just the salt beef" I got home to find I'd been given a bagel with gherkins. So disgusting I had to throw it away. Staff don't listen to customer's orders. Avoid!
