My Yummie Grill in Brighton and Hove

Food embarrassingly poor… Cold, dry, over salted meat, undercooked chips, limp brown salad. Never experienced such rude staff in my entire life. It is a miracle that this shop are still making enough money to open their doors. PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THE DISAPPOINTMENT OF ORDERING FROM THIS SHAMBLES OF AN ESTABLISHMENT.

Absolute awful service. Placed an order. 40 minutes later they rang us to let us know they could no longer complete our order and was cancelling it. Then hung up on us. We tried calling back and after 5 attempts they answered and we enquired about a refund as they had already taken our money. He said you should get it back in 3-5 days but he didn’t know as it wasn’t his money.. then hung up on us again. He was rude and dismissive and said “it’s not my money so I don’t care when you get your refund”.

Ordered at 6.03pm got the food delivered at 6.37pm. Wrong order, tried phoning them it just rings. The chicken box is so so spicy nobody ate it so we ended up starving. Told the driver I hadn't paid yet & she was so shocked. I'm wondering if she will even give the shop the cash for the meal

So on just eat, stated, 2 medium pizzas, 8 cookies, 2 pots of Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Delicious right?? Wrong !!!! 2 medium pizzas yes! But 1 pot off ice cream, 4 cookies , garlic bread and chicken strips that was not ordered! False advertisement on Just eat, will definitely not shop there again!!!! To add insult to injury the manager when spoke to on the phone was damm right rude, and did not want to listen to a complaint, once we had stated our situation he just hung up! I am now going to calk the restaurant and voice another complaint!!!

Almost every time I’ve ordered from this place since the new year, they’ve managed to get the order wrong. I usually let it slide because of how good and nice the staff used to be, but it’s finally crossed the line. Our food today arrived stone cold, 20 minutes later than it was meant to, the burger was wrong, and the cookies were burnt. We called the restaurant to ask if there was anything they could do, and we were told to call back after 6pm when the manager would be in. We did that, and the person who answered the phone was extremely rude, shouted at us for saying we ordered through their website after he didn’t hear us say the first time, and then hung up on us. Will not be ordering again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

This is a review for Yummie’s pizza grill Saltdean I ordered 2 pizza’s garlic bread & ice-cream from this takeaway I was told it would take 45 mins to arrive but it was over an hour but not a big problem. I realised the ice cream was missing from my order. Ben & Gerry’s cookie dough. My ham & pineapple pizza was fine but my bbq meatball mania was over cooked & we couldn’t find the toppings of pork meatballs pepperoni sausage beef & smoky bacon. Just cheese & bbq sauce. I rang the restaurant to firstly ask about my ice cream & I couldn’t get through for ages & when I finally got through I was told to hold the line & I waited & the guy never came back so I had to wait & call back later. When I finally got through the man asked what I paid & I told him & he said it was a £1 short & I said that a young lady took my order told me the price & that is what I paid & I gave the delivery guy a tip. He said that he would get the ice cream out to me but it would take anything up yo 40minsI then explained that I was disappointed with the bbq meat pizza that it was over cooked & we couldn’t find any meat toppings. He said he made it himself & they were in there. I said are you going to do anything about it & he said no but he would make sure it was better next time. Well their certainly won’t be a next time. In future it will be Domino’s or Papa Johns. What awful customer service from Yummie’s Saltdean

Waited over 2 and half hours for delivery of food tonight. Called to ask for refund just to be told this is not possible without the owner who is not on site. No email address and now no answer on the 2 numbers. Will be visiting in person for a Refund! Absolute joke of a place. Avoid at all costs

We ordered lamb wraps and chicken pittas. Absolutely lovely kebabs. The salad was extremely fresh, loads and loads of lettuce and onion, all vibrant and crunchy. There was so much meat it was fantastic. The chicken shish was my favourite as it was so juicy. The lamb doner was really tasty as well. The hummus tasted wonderful, a bit thicker than normal hummus. Their breads were also fresh and soft. I preferred the wrap bread to the pitta but both were extremely tasty. The food was delivered on time and was packaged well. Very happy!

I've never been physically repulsed by take-away food before so thank you Yummie Grill for making that dream a reality!

Horrible experience I rung up to complain that they had forgotten one of the drinks and the food was cold and the manager when I was trying to explain keep talking over the top of me n when I asked for a refund told me no! They can’t do that got really rude and Put the phone down on me when I called BK up to ask why they did this and it was poor customer service to do that they threatened me with police for harassment! I will be reporting to Trading standards as this is poor service !

Twice bitten,never again, two orders on various days and total rubbish food.very over done chips that were rock hard,doner meat that was over cooked,chicken that was very over done and lack of listening by staff about your order meant that on both occassions,there was something missing like garlic mayo serving,honestly anyone reading my review of this place save your money and go somewhere else,,,if i could give no points for the food and service i would but trip advisor starts at one so very reluctantly i give it one point and a promise never to use them again.
