if i could give 6 stars i would but sadly i can only give 5. this place honestly has great food great service and overall a great atmosphere. this place may not look the best but sit here for 2 minuets and you will see how homely this place is. the food was amazing and i love the geeza and i will definitely come back here

Every time I go to a kebab shop I ask for no bread and just to put it in a container,as I'm avoiding carbs.This shop demanded a pound extra for the container???For £10 the chicken shawarma was a very small portion, dry and bland.The salad wasn't fresh. Definitely won't be going again. There are so many better places in Brighton and Hove!

We stopped here by chance on a hot day and I must say it was soooo tastey. The place is so clean..the flavour was so good. I would definitely like to come back for this chicken kebab wrap.

I love the food of this place!! Whenever I come to Brighton, I have to eat here no matter what. The shop might be small but the food is so delicious, specially the chicken shish and chicken shawarma with the yellow rice. The service from Hasan, the siryan man is also great. I do recommend eating here and you won't be disappointed 😊

I understand food doesn't just prepare itself instantly but the waiting time is just an abomination. 2 people are sat waiting for their meals and another infront of me, I have 12 minutes until I need to catch a bus nearby the guy only reaches the person infront of me after 9 minutes, if it takes so long to serve why not just have someone else working beside you to speed up service time. ( I missed the bus )

Dry and and under seasoned kebab meat. Chips were overcooked. Wasn't even cheap. Much butter places to go. Staff were nice though

One of their staffs charged me £10 for the same size of food I paid about £8.50 for last week. But when I asked him why he charged me £10. He then offered to give a refund which I accepted immediately because his behaviour was very bad. He then swear at me immediately I was about to leave the shop.

Drove from Manchester to visit a friend, peckish on my walk to the hotel after a few bevs. I cannot believe how good a kebab can be? Kebabs usually mean gristle and grit but the meat was delicious, tender and fresh. I went with the owners recommendation for chilli sauce and garlic mayo, none of which were overwhelming and left the main flavour to be the meat whilst keeping it saucy. Incredible service and fair prices. I’d be very happy if I could bring this lovely place up to Manchester with me, thank you

Only order small chips which should have been 2.50, but he was sneaky about it and charged me 7.50£ which I only realised later on. Now that I think back to it he was holding the card machine so that I wouldn’t see it. The chips were also half frozen.

Excellent kofte kebab and freshly cooked chips. My friend dropped his kebab on the pavement but was swiftly compensated with some extra cuts of chicken. Very kind.

The Chicken Shawarmas at Albion Kebabs, are simply DELICIOUS. I've never had better!!! I don't know why this place has so many negative reviews??? I've eaten here loads of time and the food is usually EXCELLENT!!!

With only my usual toast breakfast in the morning, I had a doner early evening and 6 hours later started vomiting severely all night.

Not got. Food: not nice; service: not nice.

I bought some food for husband who is in Hospital today. The guy serving put everything in separate boxes so the salad would welt and food stayed warm whiles I was taking it to him. I also ate a kebab indoors and it tasted great!!

Food was good got a chicken donnor and lamb cofta wrap 🌯 was lovely What was Evan better when I walked in they were cleaning. To the Kurdish owner first time I've ever seen a guy from Sudan be a kebab chef well good decision coz my food slapped I was sad when I finished it

Bring back the lamb shawarma! The replacement was a Lamb doner and it was cold and very poor. The lamb shawarma was great previously, and even if a little more expensive would definitely be preferred.

I had a lamb shish - Wrap rather than pita bread - No flavour to the meat - Bones in the meat - No flavour to the chilli sauce and practically none of it - Little salad and what there was, was - SURPRISE! - flavourless Won’t be getting my custom again.

This place has really gone down hill. Large kabab was small and chilly source was non existent. All food was handled with their bear hands. Low enthusiasm. I think this place is on the way out, which is a shame as it used to be good. Won't visit again..

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Literally sent my friend to the hospital because he had an allergic reaction to sesame oil in the lamb which wasn't told nor were there any signs. The meat was DISGUSTING, it was raw, mushy, no flavour, tasted so bad we binned it. Absolute trash. And the guy was rude and abrupt. Expensive donner meat for horrid quality. I am now scared I'll be getting food poisoning.

Absolutely disgusting ! I now know why the other people asked for fresh ones, wish we had waited. Order a mixed - with salad no tomatoes Opened up to wet lettuce, Cucumber and tomatoes -_- The meat tasted like TUNA wet soggy offcuts of fat that had probably been left in the tray all day. Went straight in the Bin.

I stopped in to the kebab shop at around 11pm after a long day because I was starving. I got totally ripped off. I got a kebab rap with all the salad and chilli sauce. I have to say it was horrible and it had very little meat for the costly sum of £7.99. I would recommend eating here.

This used to be a proper kebab house, that served proper donar kebabs. Now it does quick raps with average garlic mayo and chilli sauce. Been coming here on and off for 20 years and just gets worse and worse

The worst kebab of our lives. Read that again. THE worst, not ONE of THE worst but THE worst. The kebab stations were extremely untidy, little bits of kebab left all over them which you'd think would be considered very unhealthy and just not good for attracting customers. Good job I ordered chicken shish. The owner had a black kid working for him, he was sweeping the floor, wiping the tables but he then proceeded to dish up some chips for a customer as I was waiting for my kebab. The chips weren't fresh as they were served from a tray that had left over chips in, they served my chips fresh. Makes no sense why they'd give others cold, left over chips. Maybe because it was 23:30. My kebab was tasteless, chicken bits were tiny and it was expensive! Trust me, this quality would be acceptable in London and rightfully so. So glad I didn't get food poisoning!

Very good meat shawarma, one of the best we’ve had in the UK. I’m not sure what the other reviews are on about cleanliness etc. Place and staff seem perfectly fine.

bought a lamb doner last night in a wrap , was slightly warm , as i ate it i was pulling out lots of stringy fat from my mouth and chucking , i dont know what meat it was ,it wasnt lamb was tasteless and half hour later i needed to have a crap , i would say in all honesty its the worst takeawy of any kind ive ever bought , never ever again

We ordered 2 kebabs, they took money in advance, then gave a pre made cold kebab, when I asked for no tomato, they just shoved the meat in another bread and refused to put sauce.

Don’t bother, the doner meat isn’t doner and tastes like dog horse. Fatty chewy lumps of mystery meat. For the pleasure they charge a fortune. Avoid at all costs.

I used to come here 2-3 times a week for several years and grab a small shawarma on my way home which was £3.80 and Jimmy the big guy running it was a legend who took pride in his work. Now the new management have got greedy, renamed a small shawarma 'medium' even though its the same size as the old small and charge £6.50 for it. The old medium is now what they call a large but again much smaller and its £7.50. The quality has also gone down. My opinion of this place has gone from 5 star to 1 star and I now visit once every 6 months when I'm desperate instead of multiple times per week.

Meat is absolutely terrible, whichever you pick. You just want cheesy chips it’s fine, but stay away from everything else.

Delicious meal and speedy delivery. I really enjoyed the quality of the chicken meat and marinade. The falafel could have been a bit fresher although the serving was ample and went well in a wrap with salad. Will visit again.

The older man with glasses came from outside and went straight away doing my order , touching my food with his unwashed hands.. the chicken wrap had no taste completely nothing. Toilets out of order. Just great. Take a star and that’s a lot. 👍⭐️

Placed an order this evening on Uber eats for a kebab, burger and chips. Burger and chips never turned up and kebab was without naan bread. Tried calling their number and straight to voicemail. Paid over £20 and not even half of order tuned up. An absolute joke! (I had to give it 1 star to post... otherwise it would've been 0)

Made the mistake of going here accidentally again. Last time was 3 years ago and I forgot. The Lamb was almost not existent which was actually a blessing as it’s was cold, hard and very chewy. Most of the wrap (not pitta bread) was lettuce. No chillis and I could taste and chilli sauce. Clearly just gets trade as it’s on the route back to the station. With so many options in Brighton you can do better very easily……

I used to rate this place as one of the best in Brighton. Just got a mixed shawarma from here and they have had a huge fall from grace. It tasted like a horses mouth. I’ve never thrown a kebab in the bin before unfinished. Mushy meat. And a god awful taste that I imagine will last the rest of the night. Bring back the old Albion

Really can’t believe what’s just happened! Went for a late night kebab on way home from a gig in Brighton and just down the road from the station we stopped at this sh!€ hole! Reason I say that is we had a chicken and lamb diner! Didn’t taste like either! So took them back to complain! Then I took samples from the kebabs into the doggy poo bags I had in my pocket! He wouldn’t refund me until I handed over the samples too! (So who’s the guilty one?) Wish I’d taken extra samples! So I don’t know what we ate! Pigeon or rat maybe?

Finished off a nice day in Brighton with a kebab, not had one in ages!! OMG, not sure what the hell I was eating?!! I supposedly had lamb doner and hubby had supposedly chicken kebab!! It was VILE! Hubby took them back and demanded money back (£13), they refused so he took a “sample” from both kebabs in front of them, put in a bag and went to walk away. NO, they wanted samples and gave refund! Spooky ey! Just wish we had the forethought to take another sample before he went back in! DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Absolutely disgusting! 🤢

Lamb donner was the best I've EVER had... not sure what the other reviews are about. No rubbish crispy wrap here, you get a nice soft wrap, rammed full, a bit of garlic mayo, a bit of tahini, a bit of salad, and the meat was top notch. Can't vouch for the other items on the menu, but my lamb kebab was PENGALENG. Kebabulous.

Awful service, they fake their Deliveroo deliveries so it looks like the rider has arrived but they haven’t. You also can’t call them. AVOID being scammed by these and save your money.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING UNCLEAN SHOP AND STAFF!!!! The two guys cooking the food had some dirty white t-shirt on that looked like they have been wearing it for 2 weeks. I saw homeless people I Brighton who had cleaner clothes on. And one of the guys kept on picking at some donner meat he cut up for himself with his hands THEN TOUCHING OUR KEBAB! I would have walked out the shop but they made me pay BEFORE I GOT MY FOOD and noticed how unclean they was. This place seriously needs to be checked out for hygiene and health. I have had to give this one star as no option to give it none. Simply the worst ‘kebab’ I have ever had in my 35 years of consuming these products- both here in the UK, mainland Europe and Turkey. 85% inedible - fat / gristle.. with a poor poor salad and a side of ‘chips’ drenched in cheap tasteless sauce. I hope there exist better kebab choices in Brighton it wouldn’t take much to improve on this sh##e.

This got to be our favourite kebab shop in Brighton! Best chicken and lamb kebabs. We always get it delivered, but staff are nice too. The boss…..eh but food is amazing that’s all it matter for delivery.

Formerly the best kebab in Brighton. Now couldn't taste less like a kebab. A cheese mess, didn't even ask for cheese. Why would you want cheese on kebab...? Really got away from what they're good at. Easily be able to turn it around, I will try again.

Absolute joke....asked very clearly for both my kebabs to have no salad other than just onion and only chilli sauce on both and no yoghurt as I am allergic. I have 2 wraps of salad soaked in yogurt and no chilli sauce. Can't get through on the phone, 20 quid going in the bin....good luck if you order from here, clearly don't listen to their customer
