Worst McDonalds I have been to. Ordered food 10.15 and our number was called 10.40 , not really fast food. Not just us most customers had similar waiting times. Priority seemed to be with the delivery guys, not visiting customers. I may have walked in at a busy time, but customers should be made aware of this when ordering .

The food is ok and the restaurant is ok but I’d like to thank the supervisor Rosie with the amazing hair! She helped us get our food and she was amazing 💗

Woeful service. Poorly trained staff. Inadequately staffed at peak time. No visible presence of management. Resulting in unacceptable wait times leading to cold food.

Worst service ever. I’ve Ordered table service but yet I had to go and get my food after half an hour. Food was prepared employees were just standing and chit-chatting with each other. The toilets were dirty as hell. I sat upstairs every table was dirty and with food pending. Bins were overloaded. Customer care employees were casually walking around ignoring everything. Worst management I've ever seen in this McDonald's. Very disappointing

Fast food!,not anymore,twenty minute wait for food,too many motor cycle take-aways who seem to get put first in the queue, and people walking in from the street trying to pinch paying customers food.

20 minutes for a hamburger and drink? No thanks, go somewhere else and more nutritious. You deserve it!

Don't bother. Unless you want to wait an hour+ for a quarter pounder meal, fries and a Fanta. No one seems to care and they all seem to focus on just deliveries instead of spliting responsibilities, leaving myself and a near full diner, bored stiff, and getting refunds.

Very slow service, food is acceptable not great, it is mcdonalds after all. Staff were very miserable and did not seem to care about food throwing trays of food on the sides in the till area. Not a great experience I will not be going back

Worst service I’ve ever had they had forgotten everyone’s orders and had to re make everyone’s orders by writing them down - was so unprofessional the manager is the rudest person I’ve ever met he refuses to wear a name badge And talks to every customer so rude THE MANAGERS NAME IS GLEN AND HE SHOULD NOT BE WORKING THERE HE IS A VERY RUDE MAN and doesn’t comply to company rules

Quality of this McDonald's just varies. Like most McDonald's really however the manager or supervisor not sure but his name was Tony. He was superb!

Good like all McDonald's. The ordering machine didn't give you the ticket and the order number didn't appear on the screen so it was a bit chaotic but luckily there weren't many people.

We ordered for delivery...certain foods were not delivered . We got refund but why should we have to pay again for delivery when re ordering missed items from first delivery.. Will not be using again

Just needed to grab a quick bite to eat after a night out. Service was slow, the self service machines never print the receipts so having to remember your order number. It's meant to fast food but feels really slow. I got the wrap of the day which was £1.99 and was tasty enough for the price that I paid. My partner got the same but made his a meal. Had some of his chips, and I was glad I didn't make mine a meal because the chips were cold and soggy.

A score of less than one due to the appalling service. 20 minute wait and they hadn’t even started my order. Don’t know how they can use the name fast food. AVOID for your own sanity.

The food and service isn't to blame but the homeless guys pestering you to buy them food on the self service touch screens is very intimidating..... I had to tell them to get away from me literally right in my face.... And the staff literally do nothing about it, no other fast food places have the same issues! Sort it out guys it's embarrassment! I won't be returning.....

It's the fault of the staff, they're doing the best they can. But McDonalds has been ruined by Deliveroo drivers. It's always too busy, the food takes too long now.

We placed an order online and after being delivered the wrong order and venturing in store to return the wrong order and replace our order we were met by a manager with incredibly poor attitude who was not only rude and dismissive but also took a personal phone without permission to the kitchen and when asked if we could have it back were bluntly told they needed it for the order. Staff could do with training on GDPR law after taking a personal phone like that and seen visibly laughing about it. Very disappointing. Made to feel like a problem and an issue the whole Visit.

Burgers looked like they were thrown together and then squashed

Food is good, cheap and cheerful. Staff are good though you can tell they’re stressed during busy hours. Customers are terrible especially during later hours, I definitely prefer to order my food and take it elsewhere or get a delivery rather than dine in due to this.

I've had a collection of bad experiences at this store over the years. To sum it up, you get a wrong order half the time, covered in grease, while the staff are behind the counter loudly arguing with each other and then a homeless person comes and asks for food while you're waiting for your order.

I had ordered a Sausage and Egg McMuffin at 7:30 am, and to my disappointment, the egg spoiled, emitting a foul odor. Upon bringing this matter to the attention of the on-duty manager, I was informed that this peculiar smell is considered "NORMAL" and has been consistent. However, I find it concerning that such an unpleasant odor is deemed acceptable, as it not only impacted my dining experience but also resulted in severe discomfort throughout the day. Unfortunately, I spent the entire day feeling unwell and even experienced nausea at home.

It's a McD, service was particularly bad for some reason, staff were just standing around. Had a quarter pounder with cheese. Was ok.

Almost every time I have been to or ordered from this restaurant, I have had half of my order missing. For example I just ordered a chicken Big Mac but only got 1 chicken piece and 2 bits of bread…?

Body language of the stuff members seemed so rude. Store was not clean at all.... Food was good unlike the behaviour of the stuffs and the environment around the restaurant!

You always have to wait 30-40 minutes for your order. The toilets are very dirty; in the women's toilet, out of two toilets, only one is working. My small child and I were not allowed into the toilet on the first floor.

Never order from this restaurant. I have ordered 3 times in the past and every time, without fail, they always forget items from the order. The refund process is meticulous and, to this date, I have never received a single penny of my money spent back. Not worth it- save your money and order from somewhere else.

Shockingly slow service. Looks like uber and deliveroo guys have completely taken over and takes 20 mins just to get a burger and milkshake if you walk in off the street.

Spent my morning eating my breakfast and watching the crack heads in and out of the toilets. And watching people necking alcohol at 0600 am. Brighton finest.

DREADFUL ! Maybe the worst run McDonald's I've ever been to. The delay for our order was outrageous. The play is overrun with delivery drivers and they just couldn't cope. When the food did arrive it was a burger short. I'd ordered no onion as I have a severe intolerance, but as you can see from the picture, rather than cook a fresh burger, which one would expect, they have scrapped off the existing ketchup, onion & gherkin. But left a piece of onion on the bun (and a few more in the box). Truly shocking. It shows how seriously they take allergies & intolerances. It goes to say I won't be back !!

My grandson had a problem when he went to the counter to check where his food order was. A member of staff said it had already been collected and wouldn't repeat the order. As a young teenager he didn't have the confidence to challenge the staff, so ended up paying twice. The next day I spoke to the duty manager, showed her a screenshot of the 2 transactions and she was very apologetic . There was no issue with refunding the money. Thank you.

Food was tasty but barely lukewarm

They are always rude, and food take too long they mix customers orders and when you inform them they just take food from customs hands and hand it to other customer after food been handled with many hands and got cold

The female manager with blonde hair was really nice and helpful. She helped me with my delayed regular toffee coffee latte.

I had a bad experience today at McDonald’s. The service was utterly bad plus they said that someone was on the till and the next minute not. Also the screen was not working as well.

Order arrived cold with items missing.

Just had food from here delivered via Uber and payed for via the Macdonald's app. Food arrived cold and I mean dead cold. Unrapped my cheese burger to find a bite had been taken out of it, how disgusting! What's happened to the treat if the food. Eventually found out how to contact Uber, they said they need to investigate and will not refund any of the cold food, one of the burgers has been contaminated so what about the rest of the food. So basically its our fault, not Ubers or Macdonald's as the food was delivered within the correct time frame. Doesn't matter that the food is contaminated, how stupid.

Sat waiting for ages for our food and we had the delight of sitting near Kelly, who was on her break in uniform. Language was appalling, called someone a t**t really loud and then continued to tell everyone she wishes she could work at Karen’s Diner so she can be rude to the customers. Please do Kelly you’d fit right in! Will return when Kelly leaves.

I'm not keen on macdonalds but took the kids floor very sticky under foot

Worst Mcdonald's franchise in Brighton (Ismet Turen LTD T/A McDonald's). Deliveries always missing items and/or drinks split. UberEats delivers but refuses refunds even when I prove fault.

It’s better to dine in than get delivery via Uber etc as something is always missing from the delivery order. Yesterday was the 4th time in a row that a double quarter pounder meal was missing from the order.

There's an issue with delivery every single time, wrong items and food missing. In person you wait for ages cause the crew is too busy talking to each other.

Friendly staff but occasionally a victim of its own success as you have to wait a while for good at peak times.

The slowest mcdonald's I've ever been too. Staff stand around like zombies and have zero clue, urgency or understanding of the concept fast food.... Chips were gross, milkshake tasteless and furry.

I would not go there anymore because it has been more than a month that they did not sort it out the male toilet. Not privacy because there is not door so privacy does not exist when you do number 2,not toilet paper and notice to apologise for the inconvenience.

We are from Canada and the food here is different, . I askedfor a mcChicken burger with cheese but got a chicken sandwich and no cheese. If they didn't have mcChicken then they should have told me.I would have ordered something else. Big disappointment 😞

The new manager needs to go!!!!! First of all the classical music is so loud I can't hear my headphones. I know your trying to get rid of the annoying teenagers, but this volume is obnoxious. The staff are standing around the packing area doing nothing while about 20 people wait for food. The please collected is broken but they don't shout out numbers loud enough. My child's nuggets are chips are over cooked beyond believe! Whoever the new manager is needs to go cos this is a joke.

No salt on fries and a long wait for a simple order. Not living up to the reliable fast food name it has on the front doors.

Come in this restaurant many a times and it’s usually a long wait with terrible staff however tonight the manager Kristian was amazing and so good with the customers. It was quite busy for Sundays and he apologised to any customer who was waiting at till (normally they’re just ignored). Good manager and good service

After making a noise complaint months ago and hearing nothing back this “restaurant “ still continues to have excessively noisy deliveries before 8am (around 5am) and to add to this at 07:15 this morning whilst the staff were mopping the front external tiles there was a speaker blaring out music without a care in the world to the disruption they would cause residents surrounding them. The majority of the staff in this “restaurant” do not have an understanding of what conversations are suitable for the work place, they lack good customer service and from what I have seen from their management team this is not a surprise. Who recruited the management to run this “restaurant “ ? Upon my visits to this restaurant I have witnessed staff walk past front of house trip hazards and ignore them, I have seen customers waiting to be served at the till point and ignored whilst they have a giggle and laugh with their friends or act as if the paying customer is causing them disruption. I’ve also seen what I can assume is a staff member off shift lean over the till to serve themselves and their 7 friends Because they were busy, manager/ leader allowing this and chatting to them whilst they wait for food to bag up. Someone needs to whip this “restaurant and team into shape” fast food or not there should be a level of standard which does not currently exist. With this all said I have visited in the morning and one particular manager had everything under control the team( older generation) were lovely, why does this not filter into the rest of the team and day.

Was waiting in McDonald's to use the self service and was rudely pushed aside by a staff member called 'Manny' because he believed the person behind me was 'first' and told me that 'in England we queue'. Yes if you had any customer service awareness you'd have realised I was indeed first and also it's rude to physically push someone. Terrible service

Not great.... the service was very slow, I presume because they were very busy. The men's toilets left a lot to be desired with a blocked urinal and no hand soap whatsoever in the dispenser. The only redeeming factor was the staff. The two I interacted with were very friendly.

I have been here with my friends. The service was horrible, the staff ignore when you are waiting at the till. I odered the food with hot choccolate, they were cold, specially the hot choccolate was watery and had to request 3 times to get the proper one. I do not reccomend this place, waste of money and time.

Extremely long waiting times e.g. over 20min for a coffee. Men's toilet no hand soap, when approached a senior staff member replied that's not my area.. Overall, a very poor service best is to evoid this MC Donald's.

This store has gone down hill since last year however my visit last night (Thursday night) changed my mind about this usual diabolical store. The food only took 3 minutes (I’ve waited an hour before here) and it was hot! The manager (slim tall guy) seemed to have everything sorted and the team who usually look so confused actually looked like they wanted to be here and knew what they were doing. Usually the other manageress is outside vaping and chatting with motorbike people while everyone else is drained and confused. Big progress Only think I would say is the tables have always been and probably always be dirty- useless cleaners.

The manager Kristian was really helpful and polite had an issue with my order and when I asked the little manager with black hair (didn’t get his name) he blatantly ignored me twice. Kristian immediately resolved my issue and as an apology gave me a large meal instead of the medium meal that got lost in the kitchen. This man through such a kind gesture made my experience here from bad and upsetting to quite good and made my day. Really want him to get recognised for his amazing skills and he seems to have good care for all his customers as he was cheerful and helpful to everyone who approached that counter- well done son you’ll go far! Will definitely return but that other guy should take a look at Kristian.

This McDonald’s is really good and has been good for years but between the last 2 years it has went downhill, the people waiting for their order is long, food is sometimes cold, the only issue I’ve had at this McDonald’s is the chicken nuggets my mum bought me a chicken nugget share box and 2 were put together and the batter was sticky / raw luckily the kind lady working there gave us 6 back (4 extra) I recommend going to the Churchill square one more than this since there isn’t any delivery’s and the service + food is good (Western road McDonald’s if you are reading this please get tips from the Churchill square McDonald’s please) oh yeah forgot to mention there’s a lot of kids upstairs (chavs) that you might need to deal with since they are crazy and vape up there also thank you for your time reading this review :)

I always have to make sure the fries are hot as I like my foot hot not soddy or lukewarm or reheated.

The Worst ever service amongst the Mcdonalds I have ever been. Too late for table service; had to wait more than half an hour. Curry sauce was missing which I had ordered and also drink was served without straw. Had requested twice but none was there to serve.

Probably the worst McDonald's. Waited 30 mins for 2 large meals on a Wednesday evening. Our number was called and our bag had 2 burgers inside, no fries and no drinks. The staff showed us their order ticket and we had to point out that it said 2 large drinks and 2 large fries. Got home to realise that the Spicy Big Tasty burger didn't have any bacon in it, and while there was cheese in the box, it was mostly outside the burger. Not expecting gourmet, but would expect to get the "fast" food that we ordered.

Have gotten food from here a few times through Uber eats - it is the worst McDonalds I’ve ever known. Orders take for ever, they’ve been cancelled before after I’d already waited an hour, and when they have actually arrived they’ve been cold or had items missing. Will unfortunately avoid from now on!

Fed up with this McDonald’s restaurant receiving deliveries at 5/6am their drivers make an excessive amount of noise waking me up and my partner up every time. We have previously written a letter of complaint and we asked for their management to contact us with a solution and we have heard nothing. The fact that they are breaking the law and still don’t seem to care is ridiculous.
