Mcdonald's Restaurants in Brighton and Hove

Manager was apologetic but they lost the order we were sat waiting for ages. My daughter took receipt down and they took it off her and said we have a new person today. Then we waited for another 10 mins so I went down and they gave me the excuse different as they lost the receipt they were slow had no idea what they were doing. And because I was out spoken and truthful that meant I was rude. Disgraceful service no one knowing what they are doing.

Ordered at the same time as my friend. My order took 10 minutes longer than his to come out despite it being just fries and a burger (same as he got). Manager seemed more focused on “engaging his lats on a deadlift” and “how much he squats”compared to his college than getting my order ready. Really disappointed by this. Not even busy, ordered literally within the same minute :(

What a let down!😂 Me and my mum decided to treat ourselves to our favourite meals, the driver came within 7 minutes but the food was stone cold and stale! I ordered a chocolate milkshake and its tastes like strawberry so they either didn't clean the nozzle or just gave me a strawberry milkshake😂 the chips look, feel and taste like they've been sat there for hours and the burgers are the same. Awful. When I went onto the mcdonalds app they ended up just telling me to call the delivery service. I cannot stress that this issue was not the drivers fault. Maccys really has gone down hill. I think I'll go with burger king next time 😂

15 mins for a bigmac is a long wait

I go to England knowing that the food isn't good, confident of living with Mc for a week... I only went twice. Food not the best, staff, in my opinion, rude, dirty and poorly organized bathrooms.

Decided to spend today all my tea break waiting for breakfast wrap. Many orders ,with greater or higher number been served before me , my order never arrived. Shift leader was repeating 1min 1min every time I ask , while rest of his colleagues were decorating counter with Christmas stickers. So left the place after 20min waiting ,hungry and angry. If you have money and life to waste I would recommend you this restaurant. Otherwise stay away from a place as far as you can. Unfortunately cannot provide star reviews on food as didn't get any. 🥲

Ordered the fillet of fish, just for a change, and it took so long I wish I had ordered a burger

Food took over an hour and a half to come and was stone cold on arrival. One of the drinks was spilled all over the food leaving the chips soggy and foul, inedible. It’s almost like they were still raw and then soaked in coke which was flat by the time it arrived anyway. Food was clearly wrapped in a hurry as the burgers were all destroyed in the wrappers. Honestly astounded that the order was even correct. Ate what we could of what was left but we were still left hungry afterwards, and forced to cook something else despite the fact ordering takeout was meant to avoid cooking. Tried to call to just see if we could get any money back for what had been ruined or replacements but they never answered. Absolute waste of money, and will ensure that the app never selects this particular store again, especially after reading the worrying comments about food poisoning in reviews. Probably the most depressing McDonald’s I’ve ever ordered.

Food quality was good and Just eat did a great job of delivering on time, the l3 stars is the fault of McDonald's staff by not including a straw for the milkshake.

They overcook the muffins so they're rock hard, then they ignore your complaint, you can't get a refund because they refuse to give you a receipt for the food you've paid for. Absolute scum

Don't think you can give mcdonlds any better than a 3 star for service and atmosphere but looses 1 for atmosphere. However a lot of cretins go in this mcdonlads which can make it a little unfriendly. Decent food and it's certainly faster than other mcdonalds like the one at brighton marina, that one is shockingly bad. Upstairs is nice I spose. Place is usually clean also.

They should focus on packing their drinks or should go for bottled drinks. Every time I order online I receive spilled drinks.

Used app to order ahead so should not be waiting long, Ha, watched people walk in and use machine in store and walk out before we got our order. Went to counter and was totally dismissed by female member of staff. Waited 20 mins for our breakfast items. Supposed to be fast food and better ordering on app but what a joke.

All items were there and it was still nice and warm, have had issues with past orders where food was lukewarm on arrival

I was refused a monopoly winners hash brown ,i am 17 ,the member of staff said it is gambling and to read the small print the member of staff was rude and abrupt ,he informed me i had to be 18 however i’ve used my monopoly winnings in many other mcdonald’s ,the member of staff should go on a customer service course ,as he was so rude and spoke to me unprofessionally he should never speak to a member of the public the way he did .

The worst McDonalds you will ever have the misfortune of visiting. The food is subpar and the wait times almost always exceed 15 minutes regardless of time of day, even for the simplest of meals. Dirty tables, meagre portions and zero concept of ‘fast food’. Walk 5 minutes extra and go to Churchill Square.

Driver went to wrong address so I had to leave my house to go collect it on a 5 minute walk down the road. And I was missing 2-3 of the items I ordered. Food was also cold

Over 2hrs wait for it to turn up stone cold

My last order for a double quarter pounder ended up being a little single burger. This time, one of my burgers has none of the described toppings (onions, etc), and one of them only had a little piece of onion. Strike 2

Neither of the Wraps I ordered turned up and when I told the driver he had an extra bag in his bag he said it was for someone else well it obviously wanst was it! Seems everytime i order from this macdonalds they forget something but this time was all the meals what a bunch of twits

McDonald’s is going from bad to worse. The do mistakes for every single order . I asked no bacon and they added bacon. I ordered large chips and the bag was half full. It is ridiculous and won’t order again

I ordered my food at 18:45 my food arrived at 20:30 the chips and burger was cold and my milkshake was like water not happy at all that I had to wait that long and food rubbish but trying to get hold of someone is like trying to get blood out of a stone

1/9/24 about 8pm. Missing items (the main component in a large meal), wrong items (book instead of toy with happy meal, toy was specially requested through the order) and the drink was 1/2 filled despite it being a large. Just useless really...

Tables not cleared when not occupied. Cheese Burger hardly even warm and chips all different sizes and some unedible as overcooked. ordered a vanilla milkshake got a watery, half empty banana milkshake that definitely didn't have any ice cream in the mix.

This happened to be the very first McDonalds that I waited for over 15mins to get my orders out. Maybe because its close to Churchill square. Besides the waiting time ,its still same McDonalds !!!

I was completely disgusted by the restaurant. Went in at 8pm and the restaurant was completely filthy. Rubbish everywhere, tables were covered in food and rubbish and no sign of anyone cleaning it at all. The gents toilet was out of action so used the disabled toilet which was horrendous and clearly noone had cleaned it for most of the day. Food was lackluster at best, chips were short portions and when it was ready the member of staff expected me to juggle a large food bag, 3 drinks and 2 ice creams. Had to request a drinks holder which was thrown on the counter and he walked off. Really disappointed in this restaurant and not someone I'd go back to again.

Sent me someone else's order. I refused to accept the order. Courier waited around my property for 30 minutes to then activate on the app that order was delivered even though I instructed him not to state this as I refused to accept someone else's order that had multiple drinks literally dripping through the paper bag.
