Fat Chicken in Birmingham

I tried this place through a Groupon voucher. We had takeaway so can’t comment on my eating in experience. The takeaway service was fantastic I placed the order over the phone. Very efficient service, polite and very accommodating. I asked for the burgers to have things added (cheese, ketchup) and not to add salad etc for my boys which they didn’t have any issues with or charge any extra cost which not many businesses would without a charge. Food was picked up, 15 minutes drive and still nice & warm when it got home, we didn’t have to reheat it. Very nice burgers, tasty & the buns were nice too. Could have done with more mayonnaise in the 1 burger but was still nice. The chicken was a good chunky fillet & nice coating just right. Salad was fresh too. I would definitely be ordering again.

Ordered through Uber eats today (16/10/2022). You would except this place to be a chicken place and deliver chicken. The most disgusting Panini I've had. Horrible. Nearly threw up. Old chicken in the wrap. There was no chicken the in Panini and considering this is meant to be a place that sells chicken ? The burger fell apart and the food tasted like it was left and re heated. All processed. I would not recommend this place. Avoid at all costs. UK fried chicken is cheaper and is much better.

Such nasty horrible cold hard food was given after waiting there 20 mins. I will never attend again .I don't understand where the 20mins were wasted the food was soo bad if I could rate it zero I flippin well would! No wonder they've lost customers. Well here's to another one gone ! Don't go here! Waste of money.

La tienda se ve bien, entra recibido por niños sin modales, el servicio es horrible. Pidió la mega hamburguesa, el llamado camarero compró la hamburguesa y dejó caer el panecillo frente a nosotros y con las manos se lo está poniendo de nuevo. El pollo estaba poco cocido y muy, muy seco, incluso yo puedo hacer un pollo normal como ese, sin especias ni nada. Las patatas fritas eran lo único bueno, pero la presentación era horrible, no hay ningún lugar para poner las patatas fritas y una porción muy pequeña por un precio alto. Las bebidas eran 200 ML, absolutamente espantosas con el tamaño de la comida, terminó a la mitad de la comida, lo cual es muy inteligente porque saben que tenemos que comprar más. Solo tienen hambre de dinero. No se lo recomendaré a nadie.

Me informaron que si pedía una hamburguesa gourmet tardaría más de 30 minutos. Así que pedí opciones más rápidas y decidí envolver. Dicho 5 - 10 minutos. Tomó más de 40 minutos. Terrible. No vendrá de nuevo. Y la comida era normal en el mejor de los casos.

Chicken burger meals disgusting poor chicken quality yes its just poor quality chicken used. Same for strips, and all chicken used in there burgers. Fries are oily again cheap oil used. Gave me food poisioning. Drinks are 200ml cups supplied with meals just to rip off.. Overly priced very poor standard food in return. If you want good food go to yassers showell green lane.

Staff wearing gloves yet take cash from customers, pick up dropped coins from the floor then without changing gloves begin to dip their gloved hands into salads to begin making wraps... Shocking, will never go there again

We visited for a quick bite with family and ordered a few burger meals, although the burger was fat it was pretty much tasteless. I asked for the spiciest burger and they gave me the blandest burger there. Also what’s the point in the drink that they offer with the meals. It’s just 200ml cup watered down fizzy drink, one sip and it’s finished, at least have it refillable, I mean it’s just penny pinching by the owners. They also offer free sauces but again I don’t understand the point, the quantity is so miserly it’s just a joke. Too much spent on the interior but paying £7 a meal it’s a bit of a joke. Hence the rating. I wouldn’t go again until they can justify the prices to go with the quality of the food. Miserly owners need to taste their own food

I visited this place last year and wasn't impressed but thought I'd give it a second chance this week. We waited 30 minutes after placing order before getting our 2 meals. Bog standard burger and fries with small drink. Everything tasted cheap and oily. Waste of money and to be honest you can get alot better food for alot less.

The owners have spent money on making this place look good and clean and modern and away from the traditional fried chicken shops we are all used to - like Dixy and Chicken Cottage. They've gone a little upmarket and have whacked up the prices to match their pretensions. However, its just a chicken shop. An over priced one at that. We had the Grand Mega Mix- from their "Burger Collection" - what pretentiousness. * Grand Mega Mix - £4.95 - Just for the burger ! Hand Breaded Fillet, 2 Strips, Cheese, Lettuce, FC sauce, Mayonnaise. Add £1.50 to make it a meal with a regular fries & drink + Dip. Total = £6.45 So basically - a Fried Chicken Burger with 2 Chicken Strips with a bit of cheese and mayo - No different to anywhere else, which I can get all over Birmingham for around £4.50 for a meal. These guys took £6.45 - Why ? The burger was served on a wooden circular block - the fries came in a conical wire basket and the drink was dispensed from the counter and woefully small. I don't think it was anywhere near a 330ml cans worth. The only thing different here is the actual bun is a bit better and the presentation of the meal. The actual Burger felt dry and lacked succulence and moisture - the chicken was a little dry and although the description says Cheese - there wasn't any on either of our burgers - I know this as we took them apart and ate the strips on their own. I really couldn't be bothered about asking for the missing cheese - we had only popped in for a quick lunch while passing by and were in a rush. One could go Large on the drink & fries for an additional 50p - which pushes the price up for a Burger meal to £7 - Mental !! There was genuinely nothing special about the food here. If their aim was to be different and offer something unique - they have failed miserably by miles. Its just a jazzed up Dixy. This is not going to become a destination Burger venue like Charley's on Coventry Road, Birmingham or Grizzlers in Leicester. Grizzlers is the place to beat - hands down.
