Worst Chinese food I’ve ever tasted, vile! Don’t waste your money here.

Travelling from Nottingham, Bournemouth, Scotland and New Castle. We were looking forward to celebrating in the Greek restaurant. I booked the table for 6 several weeks ago, my reservation was confirmed! However, we arrived on Saturday 26 March in the evening, and the restaurant was closed !! I have had no email or phone call. Extremely disappointing!!

Look at that amount of kebab and chips is literally 2 days meal for me ❤️❤️❤️👌

food was luke warm and soggy chips, probably best not to deliver to Strensall from City of York

Il posto è molto caratteristico e ho potuto mangiare un ottimo fish and chips. Durante le belle giornate c’è la possibilità di sedersi all’aperto. Non fa servizio al tavolo. Consigliato!

Lovely staff and great latte. But what can I say re the rubbish. We couldn’t believe our eyes when not one but 8 red rubbish bins were wheeled through the cafe in full view of everyone. It really should have been 9 bins as the first were so over full. What we also noticed was that no attempt to segregate the rubbish had been made. There were signs saying mixed dry recyclables ♻️ on the bin but we could see that everything had been bagged up together in plastic bags - even the sign on bin said no plastic bags but rubbish was in white plastic bags. We thought it was so unhygienic and we’re not sure what Health and Safety would say about it. Shocking. All in full view of customers.

The worst steak I’ve ever had.Two thirds of it was grizzle , and the rest of it was as chuck as you could get Avoid The peppercorn sauce was a gooey mess

Took my young daughter for afternoon tea, it was busy so needed to wait but it was well worth it. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful ( we wanted just one type of sandwich because we don’t eat meat ) and they sorted this without any fuss. The sandwiches and cakes was super tasty and fresh. I would say just couple of down sides, wish my daughter could have had a juice instead of hot drink with the afternoon tea (But she was still very happy with hot chocolate) And toilets are upstairs, maybe not so good for someone with mobility issues. All in all a very good visit and can’t wait to visit again.

AVOID AVOID. Bort a drink then told to leave because of coughing NO JOKE. Disgusting the bar women gave us our money back and said because we was coughing we had to leave. Was the only customers in first bar area No Sense SHOCKING we dont have covid we rapid test regulare through work joke this was absolutely weird
