Sun Lee Chop Suey House in York

Had Sweet and Sour chicken, was salty, bitter - Service was fine and price just the food was really bad.

Thought we’d give this place a try. Polite lady on the front counter. Unfortunately the food was terrible. The sweet and sour sauce was just bitter and sour and the chicken was tough and irregular. 3 meals for 3 people and all said the same. Money wasted unfortunately. Sorry

Omg Waste of money Products 100% poorest quality you can imagine, sweet chilli sauce is a mixture of water and gelatine wit a bit, tiny bit of flavour, like kissel.....no chilli flakes nothing! Whatever was fride stinks as a used oil .... Highly not recommended !!!

Honestly one of the best Chinese's I've had the food is always hot the spring rolls are always on point and they get your order right every time I absolutely love this place will never go to another Chinese so 5 stars for me!!

1st time visited York for Chinese takeaway.. big portions 10/10,good service10/10, Quality 3/10. Salty and tested less..

Was at York for the weekend as I have been before but went to this Chinese were we stayed i never had a chow main like this in my life still don't no what it was to this day went in bin sorry to say 0 out of 10

I wasn’t impressed by this place. The chicken was tough, and I found the sweet and sour sauce to be sickly sweet.

Best Chinese in York by a long way - amazing food and value! Always friendly. Bit old fashioned sadly - cash only, no website etc. but he seems to be set in his ways.

Consistantly great food and lovely warm friendly service! Love the Pancake Roll and Special Fried Rice!

Placed order at 9:22pm, it is now nearly 11pm and I'm starting to think my food is not coming despite ringing the takeaway to be told he has already left.
