Don’t book this on booking.com. We turned up yesterday to find out it was closed so had to book a premier inn. The website shows it’s closed but other websites still take on bookings so we’ve lost £200

We loved our stay at the York Ibis in May 2023. We had a lovely 1st floor room with a queen and two twins. It had recently been renovated and was simple, but pleasant. This was extremely walkable to the Old York Walls. We especially loved the Indian Restaurant nearby. We found the staff to be very friendly, accommodating and kind.

Really good location for the town. Easy walk to all historic locations. Breakfast is self service and excellent. Rooms are adequate for a short stay. Car parking is a problem but if you go down to train station long stay is good . It’s a 10 min walk.

47 Foxwood LaneOrdered from Salsa Pizza for the first time, and it definitely won’t be the last! The Marilyn Monroe Pizza was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked with amazing flavors. A big thank you to Kieran, our delivery driver, who went the extra mile. We don’t usually tip delivery drivers, but on this occasion, it was a must! Top service and a top lad! Highly recommend.

Mis amigos tomaron un schnitzel de pollo y un sandwich de club. Ambos tuvieron una calificación muy alta. Ambiente fabuloso en un entorno histórico. Saludos al chef.
