The best restaurants serving Default food in North West

What a gorgeous venue and food is delicious, i love the bread and humus, the staff are super friendly. Its a special experience in a great place.

We came here last year when we were staying nearby and it was amazing then and again this March. The staff were fantastic, food awesome. One of the best Indian meals we have had. Thanks again.

The welcome, service and food was superb. We went for my mum's birthday who commented how she would have thought she'd need to travel to the centre of Manchester not Buckshaw Village to eat in such a lovely place. Great accolade to help sum up the atmosphere and quality! Feel lucky to have this place on our doorstep.

We had my sister's baby shower here, they catered for 17 of us having afternoon tea and did seperate food for the kids. They were very accommodating with excellent service. The food was delicious, everyone commented on what good quality it was. Rather than having individual afternoon teas it was buffet style, which worked out much better! More room on the tables and you could pick food you actually wanted rather than it going to waste. Highly recommend. Thanks for hosting it for us it was brill xxx

As soon as we walked into this pub, we knew it was going to be good. A small, community run pub with 2 roaring log burners and a warm welcome! I ordered one of the cocktails, the berry one and it was delicious and my partner ordered the alpaca lypse and they let him keep the glass it came in. We then ordered our mains and both had the pie; it didn't disappoint. There was so much meat and the gravy was lovely. Pudding was also amazing; two big portions of syrup sponge and chocolate fudge cake. When we are back in the lakes, we will definitely be back!

Came over from Liverpool and had our dinner at the wimpy , sanje and deeta are the nicest hosts you could ask for and made us feel so welcome. Food was amazing , cooked fresh and piping hot 🙌🏻, we’ve been coming to wimpy since I was a kid and it’s still as good as ever and that’s all credit to sanje and his family ❤️ Thanks again , we will be back soon Tom & Jane

Epic! Oozes with personality. Delicious loose leaf tea in a quirky tea pot with cute cups. Home made, lop-sided, delicious fruit scone, re-warmed properly in the oven, not a microwave. Thick clotted cream, strawberry jam and a sliced strawberry to go on top. What’s not to love?

Have never had a bad meal or bad experience at Chilli Massala, great atmosphere, very friendly attentive staff and lovely food. The 5* ratings on here tell you all you need to know👍👌

Qué pérdida que no he visitado este bistró antes. la comida, el servicio, etc es único y merece 5 estrellas. Como podrán apreciar en Liverpool estamos mimados con muchos restaurantes pero a muchos les falta ese ambiente personal Soy quisquillosa y sin intención perfeccionista a la hora de comer fuera pero esta noche he encontrado uno de los mejores. Sinceramente si no lo has probado reserva calidad, servicio y el ambiente acogedor no te decepcionará 👏

Food is incredible - veg panzerotti is heaven. Staff are also dead friendly, really can’t fault this place at all.

It was our second visit for afternoon tea at Cedar Manor with our first visit being 2 years ago and it was just as wonderful. Such a beautiful place with the best, most delicious afternoon tea. They are so welcoming and Cedar Manor is just beautiful. Thank you again for a lovely visit. We will definitely come again!

Just had an amazing lunch, scallops, cold meat and cheese plate and chateuxbriand for 2. Quite incredible! Great service by Thomas, friendly, professional and attentive. Definitely recommend.

What a great find... lovely welcome, very friendly and quick service. Great breakfast choices... gluten free no problem...loads of variety, well presented and served with a smile. Nice place to sit with plenty of space between tables...not packed in like some other cafes. Good value... and it also is fully licensed. Fantastic family business.

Authentic pierogi with a selection of meat and veggie fillings. My favorite was the sauerkraut and mushroom. Cash only! A lovely small space with friendly hosts. 🥟
