I come here weekly! Such a lovely owner who really has a passion for food. The arancini is a must! Always changing the flavours and they are made fresh everyday- haven’t had one better since trying them here.

I am a regular and this is hands down the most authentic and tasty Italian street food eatery. More of a takeaway with some space to eat in house. Their sandwiches look like a piece of art in a gallery. Eating them is like consuming a piece of art. So beautiful and yummy. Friendly service and reasonable price.

We visited Fritto today for the first time as it was requested by a family member for his birthday get together. We were meant to confirm our order yesterday but as per the norm we were not organised enough!!! Luckily Luca of Fritto was very understanding despite the order being a large order. Luca and his team went above and beyond to accommodate us to which we all say THANK YOU! The food here is absolutely AMAZING! I HAVE NEVER TASTED PIZZA LIKE IT!! We had a fairly large selection from the menu and the quality of the food is first class. It's fresh ingredients, made with love and attention and cooked freshly are simply devine and make you feel that you are getting a real taste of Italy. We can honestly say we are hooked new customers and we can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Luca and his team really are brilliant!! They truly are fantastic for accommodating us especially as we didn't give the gentleman enough notice of our order but they did everything the possibly could to make our family birthday bash a good one! Our food was superb with just enough left overs for lunch tomorrow. Not one complaint from anyone, a rarity in our family, I can assure you! THIS IS THE BEST ITALIAN STREET FOOD IN LIVERPOOL. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!

Went today, got the Prosciutto and the margherita slice. Haven't been in 2 years and it's somehow better than it was before. The food is very reminiscent of Naples. Questo e la Cappella Sistina di panzerotti!

I have tried almost all items on the menu and every single one is exceptional quality - really fresh, delicious food, incredible flavours prepared with such skill and care. Someone asked for a recommendation of what to buy when I went in today and the genuine answer is EVERYTHING you can possibly fit in. Definitely the best panzerotti, sandwiches, arancini, pizza slices, amaretti, bomboloni, bread... Like I say, the food is top notch and it's a lovely shop, ran by the best people. Our favourite spot in Liverpool.

Oh my GOODNESS. Just incredible. Went in for a slice of focaccia and was tempted by the sights and smells - left with enough for the family and zero regrets, everything was delicious! And staff were super lovely and took time to explain all the treats on offer. Go there immediately.

Without a doubt, the best Italian street food in Liverpool: panzerotti, arancini, focaccia... The taste is 100% Italian. The only issue is that you want to eat everything they have! Great job guys!

Quite possibly the best donut (bomboloni here) I have ever put in my face hole! Fluffy and light with a delicious pistachio cream filling which was just as light and delicately flavoured to perfection. Also the leek and pancetta foccaccia; lovely crisp crust to the bread then wonderfully light throughout with lashings of leeks and pancetta, was just the thing on a cold Sunday afternoon. Will most definitely be returning, the tiramisu is next on my hitlist!

Super leckeres Essen und sehr,sehr nette Bedienung. Ich hatte zum ersten Mal Arancini probiert, und sie waren einfach unglaublich. Entweder mit Fleisch oder auch ohne, beides sehr zu empfehlen. Alles wurde frisch zubereitet. Vielen Dank für diese großartige Erfahrung. Bitte macht weiter so.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. Phone your order up in advance or you will be waiting a while at peak times. The foccacia sandwiches are amazing and massive, one will easily serve 2 people. The pistachio doughnut is easily one of the best things i've ever eaten. Will be back.

Busy spot but sexy sexy food. We had the polenta fries which were a lot chunkier than I thought they would be. We also got the panzerotti prosciutto as well as bolognese and ended with a bolognese arancini (delicious). Spot on, will definitely be coming again. Hopefully when there’s pistachio Sfogliatelle!

Had Fritto recommended to me after a discussion about alla antico vinaio and their schiacciata. I had JUST missed the last of the focaccia/schiacciata for the panini so had a panzerotto instead. I think the best way to assess any Italian food vendor is to ask yourself: could I see this place in Italy? And the answer is 100%. Great food with passionate staff and an appreciative customer base. (Next time I go on a Saturday I will ensure I go closer to 12pm to guarantee my panino)

WOW. Wish I lived close to Fritto, there are so many things I want to try. The panzerotti was incredible - crispy edge, soft dough, so much filling! The donutella as well!!! If my stomach could take more I would have ordered so much more food. The chef who was making our food was so friendly! We sat in to eat and the store was busy during lunchtime, lots of people coming in for take-away so it felt very bustling! Fantastic place, couldn't recommend more. Vegan options clearly labelled.

I went today in search of a pistachio filled croissant but they were all sold out ☹️ That was my fault as I should have gone in earlier. However, I was not disappointed with what I picked. I got a mortadella, burrata and pistachio sandwich, for dessert, a pistachio bomboloni 😍 Wow! The flavours were something else. Such good quality ingredients! The bomboloni aren’t like regular donuts, they are so much fluffier. The filling was to die for. Sorry for the lack of pictures but I only realised I hadn’t taken any, when I had finished. Can’t wait to go back and try some more things! ❤️

I went this morning as i have been wanting to try for ages . . . . It did not disappoint. We got 2 bomboloni (1chocolate & 1 pistachio) delicious the fluffiest doughnut with lots of filling inside 😍 delicious. We also got a sandwich that was made fresh with barrata, mortadella and pesto delicious. I will becoming back. 👍🏼

We drive 40 mins to get here. Never disappointed. Even when very busy staff never rush you and are friendly and helpful. Best calzones we have ever had. Everything we have tried has been amazing, still working our way through the menu! Always look forward to our visits here !

Went to Fritto a couple of weeks ago, and left pleasantly surprised. Panzerotto, arancino, focaccia, bombolone... Everything was so good! Do yourself a favour and run to Fritto for lunch

I can’t stop eating here. The food is absolutely sublime. There’s nothing on the menu I wouldn’t order. If you’re going for the first time you have to try a panzerotti—any type, they’re all amazing. For desert the bombolinis are sensational (especially ones with filling) and so too the mini cannolis. One of the best places to eat in Liverpool. Few things to bear in mind—it gets very busy so place orders in advance. Cash is preferred as you can’t give tips on card; trust me, you’ll be tipping tenners with how good this food is.

So different to any other Italian place I've been, a lovely variety of picky bits from Italy and 90% you won't have had before which adds to the fun

Fabulous variety of authentic Italian freshly cooked in site for a quick meal or snacks, the variety are delicious. The price is very affordable, although small it will get you as a regular customer. Absolutely recommend. The owner is friendly and accommodating

I have just been there, food is very very good, there is great atmosphere and great vegetarian options. I had a slice of focaccia pizza (margherita) and I asked for courgette and mushrooms on top, a classic suppli, a vegetarian arancino. I ordered a tiramisu to go and I loved it. My fave Italian place in Liverpool. It’s a real Italian place, highly recommend it!! Grazie, tornerò prestissimo

I'm writing this review while I'm still in my post-takeaway high (lol). I'll go out on a limb here, and say Fritto is in my top three Liverpool best eats, maybe even top two. What a hidden gem! The vegano panzerotti were unbelievably good, and generously filled. Maybe next time, we'd get it without the vegan cheese, as it was a bit rich, but with mozzarella it was very nice. The fritella was big, airy and delicious. The cannoli was beautifully constructed, and we're yet to have the biscoff cheesecake, but I've no doubt it'll be great. It's clear that the staff really take pride in their cooking and service - to the point where they waited until we arrived, before they cooked our no-zarella sticks, so that we could enjoy them super fresh. Everything else was ready within 10 (or so) minutes. Considering our experience, our order was very reasonably priced.

Delish If you've ever walked by you will have seen how busy it gets and there's a reason why. I had the arancini from the specials which was fast and very tasty. Can't wait to get into the artisan loaf I bought, smells and feels like real bread for once. Definitely worth checking out

Authentic italian bakery. I went once and I had a try of everything. All was superb. Staff was very welcoming. They're always happy to have a little chat with costumers. I will definitely go back.

It was a wonderful surprise to have come across this Italian street food place. I had to stop after seeing "Panzerotti" in their sign, which essentially is a pizza that has been folded, and then deep fried. I was really pleased with the food served in this establishment, so much so, that I had to go back the day after while visiting Liverpool. Highly recommended for their panzerotti, bomboloni, and deep pan style pizza.

i just went to fritto's, and can honestly say it was one of the best experiences i've ever had- the sandwich was made fresh in front of me- they even checked that i was alright with the bread they were going to use for my sandwich. It was truly delicious, fresh ingredients, all the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. i also got a pistachio bomboloni, and it was also amazing. clearly a fresh doughnut and the filling was also obviously fresh, didn't taste artificial or too sweet. i 100% recommend this place and will definitely be returning!

Was recommended this place by a friend and was not disappointed. Really friendly chatty people working there. The focaccia was so crisp and delicious, can't wait to try everything else on the menu! Would like to see some vegan options there in the future!

A very popular place, which is well deserved. Being popular you may have a little wait at times, but it's worth it.

Sells quality Italian food, which is clearly made with passion and love. Good quality ingredients. Lost one stars, as the person serving the person behind the counter seemed very distracted. I was the only customer. He was dealing with potential cleaning person and restocking the fridge, which kept him from serving me. I had even taken the food, before the counter person remembered to say thank you.

Avevo già assaggiato i famosi panzerotti di Fritto ed ero rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso e meravigliato. Oggi invece ho scelto i buonissimi Bomboloni al Pistacchio e devo dire che sono stati i bomboloni più buoni che abbia mai mangiato in vita mia. Ho preso anche il pane, appena sfornato ai multicereali che è buonissimo. Prezzi ottimi, cibo sempre di altissima qualità ed il proprietario di una gentilezza unica. Un tocco di italianità a Liverpool è sempre ben gradito. A presto Fritto 😍

First visit to Fritto today after meeting Luca last week. Tried the bread and the focaccia. Both were excellent and value for money. Great tips and information from all the friendly staff. Definitely going back for more👍

I love Frittos! It's the best and freshest authentic italian food in Liverpool! I popped in and asked the owner, Luca, if he could cater for my birthday and he went above and beyond! Organising a menu with me and making plans for my various friends challenging dietary requirements. He even closed the cafe a little early to deliver my food as I had no one who could collect it. He was so kind! Everyone loved it! The 40 aracini were gone in minutes and my cousin came round the next day to ask if it was just the night or if it was the best pizza he had ever tasted. The various folk who were staying in my house and eating left overs for breakfast reassured him this was the best pizza they had had.

Fantastic , authentic Italian street food. Opted for a panzerotti, arancini, a bombolino, two oat milk coffees and a focaccia for later! What an absolute treat - highly recommend. Pop in whether it’s for a coffee and a sweet treat or something more substantial. We’ll be back!

Just the best. Vegetarian options are excellent, not a second thought as it often can be. Panzerotti is just like in Puglia, incredible polenta fries and perfect arancini. Tiramisu è stupendooo. Took home a focaccia for dinner too which was delicious. Made me feel like I was in Italy grabbing lunch. Worth the trip out of the centre of Liverpool - you will not regret.

Quality fresh Italian flavas .....restraunt style for cafe £ prices

I have not tried their savoy items yet but bought the Donuttella dessert other day. It was lovely and very light that one person can finish all box. Doughnuts covered with a generous nuttella sauce and pistachio chunks. They open from Thursday to Sunday only and not for the whole week which is a let down but I am sure they will resume full week service at some point.

Really delicious and affordable Italian food. My favourites are pistachio filled bomboloni and tiramisu, please get some and thank me later. Panzerottis are also delicious and huge size!

Honestly, THE best Italian street food I've had in Liverpool, its the closest I've come to real Italian. Always made fresh, be prepared to wait whilst its freshly cooked for you, I've nearly been through everything on the menu and there's not one thing I've not enjoyed. Pistachio tiramisu was incredible. I'm yet to try the festive one. Honestly I can't recommend this place enough, I'm forever going on about it to my friends. Follow them on insta for all the deliciousness.

Had a panzerotto classico which was delicious. Also tried the supplì and the pizza and they were both delicious too. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a proper Italian street food.

Heard good things about Fritto but hadn't had an opportunity to try their wares. Safe to say I'll definitely be returning. Purchased a Mortadella Panzerotti and it was absolutely outstanding. The combination of pistacchio pesto and mortadella is truly wonderful and the panzerotti was cooked to perfection. Not to mention it was huge. Lovely friendly staff and hardly any wait for the food to arrive. 10/10
