Little hidden Italian gem in town! We went here on a recommendation and we are so glad we did ! They make everything in house, their cannolis are definitely worth trying! Really crispy on the outside perfect with luxurious creamy ricotta filling ! Even the chocolate bombolone had a nice amount of chocolate filling ! Latte was also really good! There is some seating available for you to sit and enjoy your treats!

Visited for a quick lunch. Friendly service and a wide choice of panini, warm dishes (lasagne) and desserts. Both panini were delicious and the hot drinks were also good. We were surprised to see they also sell wine, so had hoped to come back one evening for wine and dessert but unfortunately weren't able. Will definitely return next time I'm in Liverpool to try some more! Nice relaxing atmosphere. Recommend!

Ordered some food for a party there. The food was amazing and the guests loved it! Prices are reasonable and the staff was very nice. I highly recommend it.

I’m not familiar with Italian desserts and it was difficult to choose but I ended up picking a cannoli and tart - they weren’t too sweet for me! The flavours were well balanced and there were a lot of choices - too bad I couldn’t try all before I left! They were a little expensive, though - they cost £10 in total, including large sized tea, but the costs justified the quality.

It's always a pleasure to go eat there. The food is fresh and very tasty. I particularly enjoy the pistachio desserts. Everything is homemade, you can see it immediately. The chef has his own recipe, and it's often heavy dishes, but it's what we are looking for. There are plenty of Sicilian artworks, so you will feel either at home or in a cozy atmosphere.

Wow. Outstanding food and service. What a find this hidden gem is. Had the most delicious Arancina and calzone Fritto. Never tasted anything like it and I have visited Sicily just once, cannot believe I didn’t discover these savoury foods while there!

Small delightful Italian gem. If you fancy a coffee, drink along with an Italian cake or street food for lunch this is a must. Tucked up a side street you feel like you are in Naples. Service is always great.

Cute place and nice staff, good pizza and unreal bomboloni (the dough especially). Wasn't keen on the cannoli though as it tasted old and the shell was mushy. Also wish they had more vegetarian options, alot of the savory things i wanted to try were all ham. But overall a good experience!

Wow! What a gem of a place. Think they use to be in St Johns but have recently moved and they are just going from strength to strength. Can here the other day and order two desserts and a arancini ball to go. Everything was absolutely excellent. What a great addition to the city. Seeing the great reviews about the coffee as well, will be ordering a cup next time I'm in :-)

Absolute gem of a place with the most amazing food. If you like pistachio, you have to get down there and try all the fabulous desserts! Savoury options available too, along with authentic Italian refreshments. You will not be disappointed, except if you leave it too late and they have sold out of lots of stuff! Belissimo 🇮🇹

The biggest disappointment i ever had in place with avr 4.8 star. Pasta from microvawe hot corners, cold inside. Calzone same, hot outside cold inside. Pistachio roll also from microwave. Only pizza was done in oven and taste was great. The taste was in that food, but why use microwave when u got ovens behind your back? The most overrated place i ever been. Shame.

It's a real Ricotta!! I'm from Sicily, and after 4 years in Liverpool, I found a place that makes a mini cassata with real RICOTTA!! Amazing, I felt like at home, you make me so happy!! I also tried Calzone fritto, which was really good... any chance you can make Ravazzata con carne??

Wow wow wow. Stopped by this place and it was exceptional. I couldn't control myself so I came back and ordered more. The coffee was really great as well. Absolutely and highly recommend.

Coming from a family with a sicilian father and holidaying in Sicily I was really looking forward to visiting here and I was not disappointed, everything was spot on, like being in Sicily even down to the chinotto. The food was well priced the counter looks amazing and very apertizing, we tried a bit of everything and took some home for my dad. The only problem is... I don't live close enough to visit often but I will definitely definitely be going back here.

Amazing little hidden gem in the centre of Liverpool!

Driven past this place a few times and always wanted to try it so I made sure today that I did and it will not be my last time, I just took a tiramisu and pistachio cannoli away, the tiramisu, was the best I’ve ever tasted and my ex is a Sardinian chef, so he makes a great tiramisu. The pistachio cannoli was also amazing. The filling was delicious, thick and creamy.!! I will definitely be back to sit in this time.! The radio was even playing Italian music. It was just so authentic. Keep doing what you’re doing. Absolutely amazing.!! X

The best street food place in Liverpool. Quality 10/10

The food was great, but sadly the service wasn’t. The guy that was in the morning shift make me feel like he was doing me a favour serving me. I really recommend to change the attitude as I believe this place has a lot of potential.

The food is so good here. Everything is super fresh, service is polite, I don't even have words to express how good the food is. I could eat here every day. The arancini is amazing. This is god's kitchen in Liverpool.

As Sicilian delicacies go, this place is the best in Liverpool in my opinion. If you want a quick arancina and drink on the go it will cost you the same as the overpriced and bland Tesco meal deals. Friendly Italian owners that are working hard to bring quality food and enjoyable warm atmosphere even on Liverpool rainy days.

Wonderful people and lovely customer service

An authentic sicilian street food bar with an amazing range of typical products from Palermo. I'm from Palermo myself and Cose Buone is literally a piece of home in the heart of Liverpool city centre. Arancine, rizzuole and sfincione are infinitely better than the average bar in sicily itself, so I couldn't recommend it more. Despite the prices being on the higher end compared to our prices back home, they're perfectly in line if not cheaper than the average eat out prices of other bistros etc in the area. The owners are warm and welcoming ad every sicilian person should be and the mood in the place is very nice and unique. Pro tip : don't go there just for pizza and fries, try all the specialties and finish your meal with a cannolo with ricotta cheese !

Brilliant food! I visit often to get Arancini or pasta and always get a Cannoli to go. The quality of the food is great, Alex & Mauro are always friendly and take great pride in giving an authentic taste of Sicily. Having recently been on holiday to Sicily I now appreciate just how good Cose Buone is - check it out!

Authentic Sicilian food just of Dale Street. I had an arancinci - delicious rice, mozzarella and spinach with a crispy coating. Recommend to anyone to try this gem.

AMAZING! Really lovely staff, the bolognese aranchina are beautiful, as well as the pizza! My boyfriend and I shared a pistachio canole which was amazing. Can’t recommend enough!

Oh wow fell upon this place last week & straight back again a week later. Never tasted anything so fresh. The flavours in the Arancini bolognese rice ball were literally mind blowing. Just found my new favourite place. A little off the beaten track, deserves to be centre stage. Exquisite

Walking through town after a mix of food... Happened to spot the sign for Cose Buone, a lovely Sicilian cafe bar. Lots of gorgeous fresh pizza, arancini and plenty of others.. plus some lethal looking desserts. Some lovely Italian beer and wine too... Need to come back to try the coffee.

Quick service lovely range of desserts, sandwiches and pizza with meal deals available on certain items and a range of hot drinks reasonably priced. The Tirimasu and nuttella doughnut were delicious.

Had lunch at Cose buone today and the food was very good: proper Sicilian rosticceria. Both the calzoni and the arancine were very good, and the pizza as well. Even the cannoli and the cassata al forno were good. Service could be improved maybe, although I appreciate only 3 people are working.

Hidden gem inside St John Market food hall. Traditional Sicilian food. Sweet, savoury and good coffee. ☕ Just found out they moved place. Now they have their own place, and seems they have more options there. We had lasagne and calzone that were delicious.

Great Sicilian food, which is not expensive. We had La pasta siciliana and lasagne. It was great. But the cake- canellone with pistaccio cream was one of the best cakes I ever eat. And you also have 2 handsome italian guys here, not to look only at food..😉

Inadvertently found this great Sicilian food take-out/eat-in concept in St John’s market. It’s an arena full of quirky individually inspired small businesses that just have to be explored to get a true sense of people centrally doing the thing they love and are inspired by. Full support should be given to all. For Cose Buone, a sense of Italy predominates, local language and cuisine fills the air. I had a homemade Calazone stuffed with mozzarella and ham and the other bolognese, all for £8.10 including Latte, amazing value, the only way to do it with a feeling of stepping out of Liverpool to be somewhere else. Love it and best of luck to the Lads running it, they deserve all the best business success 😊👍🏼x
