As sad as it sounds, I’ll make a point of trying falafel from anywhere it’s available. I’ve not made it to the Middle East yet, but as far as I’ve travelled, this place is the best. It may not look much but the food is outstanding. Easily the best food on bury market, maybe in bury.

Cracking little coffee shop in the heart of the village. The artisan coffee was tremendous. Small but really tasty menu, I went for the avocado toast and it didn't disappoint. A must visit if you are in the village. Free parking on the Asda opposite for 3 hours which is a bonus.

Gorgeous interior, stylish and exquisite! The menu has so much to offer for vegans and carnivores alike, beautifully presented, cooked fresh and delicious! Staff are very helpful and friendly. So reasonably priced, especially with the 2 for 1 cocktails and drinks deals 4pm-10pm. I would highly recommend it, can’t wait to take my friends here. It’s an oasis in a busy part of town.

What a fantastic little cafe, a welcome addition to the Assembly Rooms Emporium, which occupies a lovely 18th century Grade II listed heritage building. Such a nice menu. All home made food. I had a lovely steaming bowl of Turkish bean soup, a tasty, freshly-made sandwich, and a pot of tea. I could not resist the cabinet full of gorgeous cakes, scones and tray bakes. The Lavender Cake was delicious. Very friendly service. I hope to return. (You can takeaway/ take home, and also pre-order sweet treats for special occasions).

We visited on a August Bank hol Monday, early evening. That day, they only had an open buffet on. It does have a regular menu but I think it may just be open buffet for the period of Ramadan? I was chatting to the owner and he explained it was quiet during the day until most regulars turn up late. But when the restaurant is running before and after Ramadan, I'm not sure how busy it gets or what the regular menu is like! However, for our £8.99 set price each we had a fantastic meal. A drink is included (soft drink only, not sure if they allow BYO). There was a top lentil soup, then the chef explained the rest. Too much to list, but just classic, homemade middle eastern food. Tzatziki, hummus, salads, beans, and then for main there was an okra stew (fab), a plain but tasty rice, rice with beef and herbs, and chicken with rice. We made lots of visits back up to the buffet for more. One thing we'd have loved was bread, but we couldn't see any. However I think a party of four who came in later asked and got some naan type. For desert there was a typical tasty but calorific baklava type - ace. It's a bit ad hoc in there and it's a real local feel, help yourself, cling film on the plates of food - I can imagine some people more used to being nannied in Nando's would feel uncomfortable. But the place is great and I hope it gets local support (the decor and music are actually very classy by the way, it's not scruffy). Highly recommended, and would be good to know what the lunch time/a la carte experience is like.

Unbelievably good food! 👌🏼 I would highly reccomend the fritters - go for the mixed one so a couple of courgette and a couple of spinach. If the chefs give you some of their special spicy feta dip as well then you're onto a winner. If it's not on the menu then it definitely needs to be! Such a friendly spot and if you're unsure what to get, ask for a reccomendation and you can't go wrong. Even better is if you're there on the right day pop into The Fell Bar, Penrith a couple of doors down where they're serving local craft alcohol and offer a £9 special where you can get a pint/glass of wine and pitta wrap/salad/mezze fritters/chips &... All you do is pay at the bar, take your receipt to Just Greek, order, take a buzzer, finish your pint, pop back, pick up your food and then eat it at the bar with another beer - go for the IPA. I had no idea upon going in the accolades this place has, but after one visit you can 100% see why. Authentic and fresh it's just absolutely cracking. You'd be a fool not to and it's hard to resist getting more on top of the meal deal - I tried a mixed gyros and halloumi salad as well just because you can tell on walking in that the food is going to be worth it and I was not disappointed. Amazing and I hope to be back one day.
