Fantastic venue, brilliant service and fabulous food! All the family went for my birthday and everyone was accommodated. Drinks were all amazing, wine, beers and cocktails. We all had a superb time and will be back soon.

This restaurant is fantastic. The food is delectable, service impeccable, and atmosphere exceptional (lovely in evenings with sun setting on the restaurant!). Dropped a knife onto the floor and by the time I had reached down to get it they had already brought a new one to my table! - a testament to the service.

First visit to Meze and it was excellent. A welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Very extensive menu, extremely helpful, friendly and attentive staff, freshly prepared and delicious food. We tried the baked Talagani cheese, Tirosalata dip and hummus. All freshly prepared and served with light, warm pitta bread. Main courses of chicken kebab, tender and juicy chicken served with fresh salad and pitta. The spaghetti carbonara was the best I have ever tasted, creamy and light. All accompanied by a Greek salad. Desserts of orange cake and cheesecake to finish our delicious feast. The manager was friendly and attentive and we were looked after by Ethan who delivered excellent customer service. Top marks all round.

I first fell for Meze over their breakfast plates and Greek gyros, but last night’s dinner proved they can nail a serious steak too. I went for the T-bone and it was a beauty: charred edges, juicy centre, a hint of oregano and good olive oil on top. Chunky chips came out piping hot and the side Greek salad cut through the richness perfectly. Everything else I loved is still here—the pottery-lined walls, warm lighting, and staff who treat you like old friends. Prices are fair for the quality, and you never feel rushed whether you’re popping in for coffee or making an evening of it. If you haven’t tried Meze yet, do yourself a favour. And if you’re already a fan, add the T-bone to your list—it’s my new must-order.

A refreshing atmosphere, food and lovely family - just a wonderful place. A welcome change that feels relaxed yet special, such a friendly, warm family feel. The food is amazing.. meze, meat skewers, wonderful Greek salads (and I'm fussy), Greek orange cake yum, such tasty and high quality ingredients. It's my new favourite restaurant, and it's busy... that shows how great it is! I've been 3 times in 3 week, and will be back!!!

Popped into Meze during classic UK drizzle and instantly forgot the weather. Warm wicker lights, pale-stone walls, and hanging greenery create a cosy indoor-garden vibe. Staff had hot coffees on the table in minutes. My rich flat white, a spot-on oat latte for my friend, and quick plates of fluffy spinach-feta omelette, honeyed yogurt, and fresh pastries—all tasted properly homemade. Fair prices, zero rush, and genuine smiles turned a dull morning into something worth getting up for. Need a lift on a grey day—solo, with friends, or kids in tow? Meze is the place. We’ll be back, rain or more rain.

Took the whole family to Meze and everyone left happy. The room feels bright and welcoming, with plenty of space for prams and high-chairs. Staff greeted us with genuine smiles, brought colouring sheets for the kids, and never rushed us—even when the little ones needed extra attention. The star of our meal was the stifado. Slow-cooked beef in a rich, aromatic sauce that practically melted on the fork—perfect comfort food for a chilly evening. The rest of our dishes were equally tasty, and portion sizes meant nobody went home hungry (we even boxed up leftovers). Prices are sensible, the staff are patient and friendly, and the relaxed atmosphere makes Meze ideal for a stress-free family night out. We’ll definitely be back for more!

Hi, not the one who usually moans but this time I thought I will share my experience. As soon as walked in didn’t fell very welcome ( probably due to appearance) , staff approach was not very professional ( probably due to appearance) , ordered meal wasn’t as per menu ( no rice with my prawns, probably due to appearance hahaha), when confronted the staff about the order I was apologised , friendly advice “don’t judge the book by its cover” , and was really looking forward to visit this restaurant after hard day at work, feel sorry for the manager who was really apologetic due to incompetence of his staff, disappointed heading to local kebab shop

We visited for the first time since the renovations and were really impressed. The interior design looks great, and the food was just as good—if not better—than we remembered. The octopus starter was a standout, even better than some we’ve had in Greece, which says a lot. Everything was well-prepared and full of flavour. The staff were lovely as always, making us feel genuinely welcome. It’s one of those places that just gets it right every time. Definitely recommend—solid 10/10.

Had dinner at Meze and the star of the night was their incredible moussaka. It arrived bubbling in its own dish, with silky aubergine, rich spiced meat, and a golden, creamy top that melted in the mouth. Comfort food at its finest—hearty, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. The restaurant itself feels easy-going and welcoming. Soft lighting, gentle background music, and plenty of space between tables make it ideal for relaxed conversation. Staff were attentive without hovering, happy to chat about the menu, and quick to keep drinks topped up. Portions are generous, prices fair, and the overall vibe friendly and unpretentious. If you’re craving classic Greek flavours done right, Meze delivers in spades. I’ll be back soon to try more of the menu—highly recommended!

I am here for a few days for a work trip and I have eaten here every single day! The family is so lovely, the restaurant is clean and beautiful and the food is 10/10. The meze breakfast is my go to!

Booked in for a 21st birthday and could not have asked for a better restaurant! The food was absolutely incredible, everything was so fresh and tasted just like in Greece. The atmosphere was great and the staff were so friendly and could not do more for us! I felt just like I was sat in a little Greek taverna and will definitely be back 💗

We were very pleased to return to the fully renovated Meze. The decor is elegant and tasteful. The hospitality is warm as expected. The food delicious, generous portions and good value for money. It is what I consider an authentic greek restaurant and very pleased to have it so close to home. We highly recommend and we will be back.

The food in this restaurant is unreal. Everything was cooked really good, really good portions and can’t wait to come back again. We ordered: - trio of dips - all of them were super tasty but the aubergine was my favourite! - meat balls - incredibly soft and tasty - octopus - I rarely order seafood in restaurants because most of the times isn’t good or is fried, but I have to say this octopus was soo good, enhanced by the pomegranate. - lamb chops - honestly…so good, simple and tasty. Definitely ordering again. Service is great and staff very friendly plus the venue is beautiful. Highly recommend.

I took my family today for the first time to have a meal at this new restaurant, I have been watching out for it to be opened which it did two weeks ago, it appeared over the last two weeks to be extremely busy so we decided to go this quiet Tuesday evening And I’m very pleased we went, to start with, the service was absolutely first class, I knew what food I wanted to order, we ordered some wonderful starters, very generous portions, the main course, which was typical Greek and thoroughly enjoyable also very generous, throughout the experience the staff Were visiting and asking if we wanted any thing or if any further food was required, they were so sweet and very welcoming extremely Greek style way of generosity, I think we will go again, I definitely recommend this nice restaurant, I have left some photos to check out what we have eaten. Bottom line, it’s first class.

The food was awesome I tried a bit of everyone's we were there to celebrate a birthday, the staff were so attentive, no rush to get your table back just have to say I have never tasted food like it just melted in the mouth, but the chips OMG were amazing, portion sizes on everything were more than enough, drinks were very reasonable , will certainly be going again, decor was beautiful the restaurant was immaculately clean.well done to the owner you have a gold mine, and I will see you soon. We didn’t book table of 11 but the amount of walk in's and how popular it’s going to be I would certainly book now 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Went today having seen it from across the road. The place looks fabulous, the food was excellent and the owner, who looked after us is a gent. I have only one grievance, I'm off the beer and as I'm finding at so many places, alcohol free beer is way over priced. 2 bottles is effectively a pint and comes in just shy of £10. Question, would you buy a pint of full strength lager for that?

best loaded fries, i’ve EVER had, and i’ve been to many burger branches in manchester. Loaded fries came with the Loaded box, £15 well spent.

Extremely rude. Avoid avoid avoid !!! Called in for dinner and was accosted by several workmen and the waitress who told us very abruptly and rudely that we needed to leave as dogs are not allowed. We were really shocked as had been here several times with our dog and they previously claimed to be a family oriented dog friendly establishment . I was all for supporting local places but this is a place not to be supported given how rude the staff are. If the rules have changed that’s fine but there is no need to be rude about it We will take our business elsewhere and I would encourage others to also think again before coming here. I would really recommend Surburban Green in Wilmslow instead which is family friendly and dog friendly and does excellent food!

Really lovely little spot. I found this as I was staying near by for work. I now stay in Northenden and drive there especially as the food and service is perfect. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, even when it’s full.

Popped in for drinks after the Handforth Xmas light switch on. Ended up having a few starters and a few drinks. Lovely cosy place to drink and eat. The staff are so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

I love this place. The cuisine is authenticly Greek. The portion size is large, and the prices are reasonable. They also do a great breakfast... And they even Greek coffees, if you ask them.

We have eaten lots of delicious food at this restaurant. From breakfast, through to lunch and dinner. Everything is delicious. A warm, friendly cafe during the day and relaxing restaurant in the evening. A wonderful addition to Handforth.

Have visited before on several occasions, have been with family and friends and they have always welcomed dogs, sadly on this occasion when my sister and I went in with my dog I was informed that dogs are now not allowed. Sadly I will not be going again.

We stayed two nights at the nearby Premier Inn and ate breakfast here on two mornings. Welcoming, very clean, attentive staff. We ordered the English breakfast, Avocado smash with smoked salmon. It was cooked to order and tasted delicious.

This is the third time we’ve been here in as many months and it has not failed to disappoint. We love the Giros, they’re just the best and the Baclava is soo good! We love the atmosphere, the gentle Greek music in the background and wonderful friendly staff. Make a point of visiting if you’re in the area.

Met a friend here as half way between us. First time visit but saw the positive reviews on TA. Breakfast menu with everything you'd expect but decided to try the Meet and Eat breakfast. I was certainly impressed, it was presented well and the quality of the food was excellent. Halloumi, Olives and Greek sausage along with the usual eggs, beans and mushrooms. Friendly and efficient service at a nice table by the window. My mate had the French toast and he was equally impressed, might have that next time.

I have been to this café a lot of times and I never had a bad meal. Service is great and the food is always amazing. Can't wait to go back for the sharing platter :)

Wanted to try after seeing some good reviews. They are no longer dog friendly and after driving 30 minutes from home with my dog had to drive to somewhere else.

We ate here the night prior to a morning flight, staying at a nearby hotel who could not provide us a meal at 8.30pm ??? We walked in to Meet and Eat to a warm reception, having found it on Tripadvisor. It was so good, we went back the night we returned from holiday. This small place provides great portions of tasty well cooked Greek style food. The Gyros and Souvlaki are very good quality, the whole meal is freshly cooked and at a reasonable price for what you get. The owner and staff are very friendly. I wish it was closer to home so I could make it a regular eating place.

By far the best Greek food around - way better than the one across the road and better than the one in Wilmslow too! Here you will not only find delicious food, you’re also greeted with warmth and genuine smiles by the two lovely ladies and all staff in general.
