Veranda in Trafford

Fantastic freshly cooked food and lovely service. Finishing off with a free shot of limoncello, how good is that! We ordered a mixed kebabs, aubergine hot starter and stuffed vine leaves to share. Good portion sizes which were impressive. Unfortunately we can’t comment on the atmosphere as it was a Tuesday night and we were very late, not busy needless to say. Highly recommend this restaurant for celebration or just grab something for dinner.

Came here with my beautiful wife to enjoy some of the most amazing food we have ever eaten . The waiters were very attentive and friendly without being overbearing. We enjoyed various starters and dips and the mains was both sumptuous and delicious. The prices are incredibly good value for both the quality and quantity you receive. If you are looking for somewhere to go for a change you won't be disappointed. If you haven't tried Lebanese, Mediterranean food before as what's on the menu give yourself a much deserved tasty treat .

Food was amazing. Service was amazing. Value for money was really good. Just popped out with a friend, found this Gem of a restaurant. Will definitely visit again.

I took my wife here last night for her birthday & we had a great time. The food was delicious compliments to the chefs. The staff are all very polite & friendly and even got everyone to sing happy birthday to her. Nice touch with the free shot after the desert. We had planned to go somewhere else but they were closed so we decided to give Veranda a try. I am so glad we did as they did not disappoint. The service was 100% and for the food, if there was more than 100%, I would give them. The kids ordered from the adults menu and the person who served us kindly told us the portion would be too big and suggested they share a portion. That’s honesty you don’t find in many restaurants. We’d definitely be returning. A gem in the heart of Sale. Keep up the good service and food ❤️ Food was so good, I didn’t remember to take a photo 😅

Wrong order & wasn’t interested

Went to Veranda tonight with 2 friends. Ohhh my goodness, the food was so fresh, we all had different starters and mains and each course was amazing! The owner and staff were brilliant from start to finish, loved it that much re booked to take my partner at weekend, Thankyou for a wonderful evening xx Second time with Partner, still the best, AMAZING xxxx

Superb range of very healthy food, great welcome and service, lots of options from VE to carnivore. Worth booking. Early bird 4 - 6 also worth considering. Now a favourite Sale restaurant. Any negatives? Children's menu a bit unimaginative - children deserve brilliant Mediterranean food too!

I eat at a new resteraunt 3 or so days a week due to travelling with work. This is probably my favourite meal I have had this year. I had the cheese pastry starter which looked quite nice but tasted incredible. I had the mixed grill kebab with beruit salad. This was 10 out of 10 and exceptional. The man serving me was excellent I assumed he was a the manager but not sure). I didn't have to ask once fir my water to be filled up he just did it. Both staff members were super friendly and helpfull. The decor is great and I think the value is also very fair for the amount and quality of the food All in all an exceptional resteraunt that I will definitely be coming back to the next time I'm anywhere near here for work Perfect

WOW!!! We were visiting friends in the area and we decided to try veranda and we were NOT disappointed! The food was unbelievably delicious all 4 of us really enjoyed our meals and we did not wait long for it either. The service from our waitress was second to none she was amazing a credit to veranda. She was a lovely young girl with glasses and hair tie back. The place itself was very clean to. 2 of our party workin in the hospitality sector so are hot on cleanliness etc and they were really impressed. The restaurant also has a 5 rating for score on the door. Woukd we go again? ABSOLUTLY!!!! Thank you for a lovely evening.

The most excellent of birthday meals was had here. Very personal service with superb food in very nice surroundings. Just couldn't fault it in any way.

We went to Veranda for my 60th Birthday. The food is fantastic and the staff are wonderful and very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We were a party of 11 people and we all got our food at the same time on each course.

Outstanding food in a beautiful restaurant in the heat of Sale town centre. Easily one of the best meals we've eaten in a long time. There was a small delay in one of the meals arriving, however, they did not charge is for this, and other than this minor issue, the service was fabulous. Music was little loud and not our thing, but I appreciate it's not going to appeal to everyone. It certainly wouldn't stop us visiting again as the food was exceptional and very good value for money.

3rd visit here now and every time the service is outstanding. The food matches the great service. Best restaurant in Sale for me now. I found this gem by accident just passing. After an awful experience at another restaurant over the road this was a great surprise. Service was amazing. Dining alone was made so much easier here. Menu catered for all tastes. Very pretty and clean. I was blown away by the quality of everything. I don't often give 5 stars but this earnt every one of them.

First time eating here. What a great restaurant the food is excellent and very tasty the wine is reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly and professional. In the words of a famous actor "I'll be back". Highly recommended. Well I came back for my birthday and I wasn't disappointed. This restaurant in my opinion is now the best in sale on every level.

I can't believe I live in Sale and didn't realise this lovely restaurant existed. Best meal I've had out in a long time, succulent juicy melt in the mouth lamb with amazing flavours and a backlava to die for! The manager Mina who served us was a delight, so friendly and helpful. I really can't fault anything from start to finish, I will definitely be returning very soon :-)

I booked with this restaurant after reading the amazing reviews that it had received. In addition it was also on my taste card. I booked it for 4 people and it was for my fiancé’s birthday dinner. We all love Mediterranean cuisine and were looking forward to trying their food and my god it did not disappoint! The food was amazing! Everything was freshly made and the rice was delicious! We ordered mix meat kabobs and also some vegetarian dishes, which they have a lot of options to choose from. The hummus was home made and you could tell they put love into cooking the food. Mina was amazing and you could see that he enjoys being a great host. He had my partner pick a song to play from their Spotify and sung my partner happy birthday. Lastly, he provided us with complimentary shots and an overall some of the best customer service we’ve ever had! I will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends! Thank you Mina and staff for the memorable birthday dinner!

*Avoid if you’re going for a nice relaxing meal. Birthday experience ruined by an extremely rude and hostile server. * I booked this restaurant for my husbands birthday after seeing all the positive reviews below and was excited to take him somewhere that seemed to not only have nice food, but a lovely atmosphere and service. However we drew the short straw and got a server who is either extremely undertrained or was having the worst day of her life - she was a female with short hair and since we walked in she was extremely hostile and rude, she has ruined the entire experience. Sadly the tables to our right had the male server who I assume people are talking about below, he sounded very kind and was offering everyone on the other tables complementary drinks at the end of their meals- saying that this is offered as standard in return for a positive review etc - so if you go, either make sure you get him or seriously turn around and go home. We were, of course, not offered anything complementary by our server, but I didn’t go there for that so that’s ok. What’s shocking is that we were being very nice to our server and were saying about a million thank yous per sentence just because we wanted to cheer her up and have a nice positive atmosphere. She spoke to us in a very condescending rude manner, never cracked a single smile or said anything polite or positive such as “please”, she was very short with us in her language and a few times rudely pointing at things e.g when she brought the card machine, she didn’t say a single word and just threw it on the table and waved her finger around it. I giggled out of nervousness because- what the hell? A single incident is easily forgiven and honestly if you’re having a bad day, I feel bad for you, but to have an attitude like that throughout is unacceptable and is bound to rub off on your guests. The audacity of this woman! The food was ok - definitely not worth the horrible treatment but they have some nice dishes. The plain rice and fatteh are cooked in a lot of Ghee and the taste of the ghee is overpowering in those dishes and ruins the overall flavour. The Kabsah dish is nice though, very well balanced and flavourful. The portion sizes are good for the price. I recommend the aubergine dip “baba ghanouj” and the kabsah. Overall, we definitely will not be back and I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a nice relaxing meal out, unless you can somehow guarantee the friendly male server. We may have enjoyed the food a lot more if it weren’t for the server, unfortunately.

The food was ok but not packed correctly so had leaked in the bag and made falafel soggy and other dishes tasted funny. .

Excellent, delicious vegetarian food, they could easily make a few dishes vegan. Clean, friendly, and free parking in the evening!

Yummy grilled kebabs come with salad, dips and flat breads included. Good value too.

Unfortunately the food was 50 minutes late, stone cold and had completely spilt everywhere when it arrived which sadly ruined the meal. The hummus was the only remaining item which arrived as it should and tasted ok.

First visit to this restaurant, most certainly won't be the last. Absolutely fantastic food, very friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Chances are you will need to book a table especially at weekends but well worth a visit.

Slightly marred in the fact that we had booked a table, and put on a table by the toilets and kitchen, which was cold and very draughty and told by the maitre de that clients actually requested that table!! We were eventually moved. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Food as usual was excellent.

The best quality food you can get delivered

First visit a couple of months ago was excellent in every way. However, unfortunately on our second visit it wasn’t quite the same and the food wasn’t fresh… but when it’s good it’s good! Avoid the hummus though, it’s like water!!

Absolutely disgusting food was awful cold hairs in also dirty toilets smelly and unwashed toilets rude staff when I ask for replacement got abuse ask for owner only to be abuse further I have never experienced anything like it ruined my friends birthday never will I or my friends enter the restaurant again awfully experience

Dined in four months ago and the food was great. We ordered takeaway on deliveroo and the food was just completely different: bland, salty, oily and full of cheap vegetable butter. If this the new standard, avoid at all cost.

Last Saturday 16 September 2023, my wife and I celebrated our 51st Wedding Anniversary at Veranda. We were warmly welcomed by Zana, the host, who spent time ensuring we settled in well and shared his enthusiasm for his menu. We were equally well served by Karim and enjoyed a fantastic range of Mediterranean cuisine and wine with flavours and taste that were absolutely outstanding. Food was excellent, fresh as well cooked. Only small downside was delivery on a moped meant some spillage but that’s not the restaurant’s fault, I think.

The food was incredible! From starters to mains and also desserts….the food was well prepared and the meats was so soft and succulent! With amazing service and the best glass of rose I’ve tasted in a long while. And to top all of that very reasonably priced. Well worth the visit!

Superb food and excellent, friendly service. The restaurant is Southern Mediterranean with a distinctly Arabic twist. From what I know the staff are Egyptian and Syrian and are very friendly and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere with Egyptian music playing (I think!) Highly recommended....easily worth 5 stars.

The food was excellent, and the server (I think his name was Mina) went out of his way to go above and beyond including providing a list of gluten free options. If I lived in the area I’d definitely be a regular. It’s rare to find a spot with such good food run by such kind people. Definitely worth visiting!

Stumbled upon this little gem when looking for somewhere new to try. The restaurant looks beautiful with everything set up neatly. The staff was polite and attentive. The food came quickly and was fresh, hot, and delicious. The fish were cooked perfectly. The pictures doesnt do it justice. Definitely a 5 out of 5 for me. I look forward to coming back again 😋😋
