I found this place on the Beli app (restaurant review app). It was simply perfection from the vibes, to the food, to the staff! I walked in on a Thursday night for a late dinner and sat at the bar. The server/manager (?) was immediately warm and welcoming, and offered me recommendations. I had the steak tartare and beef fat grilled flatbread. Then finished with the chocolate tarte for dessert. Everything was divine. Not only was the food amazing, but the kind staff hand-wrote a list of other fantastic spots to visit during my time in Manchester. Nothing better than getting recs from locals! I will absolutely be back next time I’m in town. Thank you, Erst for a lovely experience my first time in the UK!

We live close by and tried this little gem for the first time today....the steaks were cooked beautifully rare as ordered, which is hard to find these days....so tender and such a rich flavour...the sides were great....then creme brulee like velvet. ..what made the visit perfect was the service we received from all the staff but especially José, very friendly and genuine guy...definitely will be making this a regular spot. Ten out of ten.

We had a booking for 4 people on a Tuesday night and it was already lively inside. The place was nicely decorated and had a positive atmosphere. I noticed there weren’t any tables near the bathroom which is great. All three of the servers we had were very pleasant and funny! The person who took our orders was willing to talk me through the different options in terms of how each dish was prepared as I wanted something lower in calories and there wasn’t a calorie menu available. Our food came out fairly swiftly and we were warned that they’ll come out at different times as common with mezze dining. The vegan options were just as tasty as the veggie and meat dishes. All came out presented beautifully and at good temperatures. There was no salt or pepper on the table but the food was seasoned well so no need for it personally. We were checked up on and offered more drinks. At the end, my friend wanted a to-go box and they had some. The dishes ranged from £6 to £15 ish and so we all paid around £30 including drinks and tips.
