The best restaurants serving Default food in North West

Went wiv 808 crew and Ryelands woz here. We sore dem orf wiv sum looks and rizz. Larger woz ok. Burg her woz mor Ryelands dan Marsh. Ryelands youse no it!

Perfect spot for a lovely lunch. Megan our server was as sweet as could be and very attentive. Food was delicious. We chose to share a few small plates. They were all yummy and best of all hot. (I hate when lukewarm food comes out!) We sat on outdoor patio space and Megan popped a heater on for us. It was a great spot to pop into. We will be back for sure :)

Just found Alfred's today. Great service and wonderful pizzas. Recommend the cup of tea too. Will be visiting again. Highly recommend the mushroom truffle pizza.

First time…won’t be the last … lovely food, nice portions, excellent service one very small critic… Sauvignon Blanc NZ Marlborough by the bottle only … shame as the Chilean is no where near as nice… infact really not very nice at all ( but that’s a matter of taste of course!) I had one …. If I could have had The Marlborough… would definitely had two !! But still give it a big 9/10

wonderful to actually receive a warm welcome and excellent service. We had soup and chips. Actually proper home made chips and was soup delicious . We were so full decided to have half a scone each. So enjoyable. Everything was spot on. The only downside they are closing 30.03.25. So sad - just a little gem. Nothing was too much trouble- service with a smile along with excellent food. Many could learn lessons from this restaurant. Brilliant. May you have every success with everything you undertake

Went to "Small Fish" with a group of friends, I have been many times, but a first visit for them. Cheryl really looked after us, sandwiches, which we had pre ordered, were so fresh & delicious. Best toasties in town! A lovely warm & friendly cafe off the beaten track & housed in the stunning Oriel Chambers building.

Fantastic range of cocktails, great value for money on the 2 for £14. A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Get yourself to Mexicali too for food!

Went for my son’s birthday with a few other friends and the food was great as well as the service. Staff were helpful with getting food to us on time and on demand.

Good service and ambiarnce. HOWEVER, Poor value for money, food was OK, The Eating Inn or White Tower will be my prefered eateries in south shore in future...... unlikley to return. What a shame, id heard so much positivity about Upper Deck, not me unfortunatley.....

Nuestro servidor Max era tan encantador y educado. Las pizzas eran frescas y generosas y los champiñones rellenos de ajo al horno divino! Una de nuestras fiestas tenía las bolas de masa de chile para empezar y otra que se ha operado necesitaba tener una pequeña porción y estaban felices de hacerle una porción infantil para un adulto. Los refrescos solo no tienen alcohol, pero puede tomar su propia bebida por un pequeño cargo por descorche. No solo tendrá una comida maravillosa, sino que también puede ayudar a otros. Me encantó.

We had the best lunch at Tacos Del Sol – absolutely faultless from start to finish. We ordered the beef nachos, a chicken burrito and the vegetable quesadillas, all of which were packed with flavour and beautifully presented. The quality and attention to detail from the kitchen were seriously impressive – hats off to Seb, who was cooking when we visited. Chris could not have been more welcoming. His energy, warmth and genuine friendliness made the experience even more memorable. He clearly takes huge pride in the place, and it shows. And yes, the Margaritas – chef’s kiss. Chris knows what he’s doing. We’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in the Lakes. Thanks again for being such brilliant hosts – it was a pleasure.

Bought my Daughter and son in law a £20 gift voucher each for christmas .They visited today and tried to pay with both vouchers but were told they could only use one of the vouchers.Hugely disapointed I would of bought a £40 one if I'd of known this. Think this was a petty decision the vouchers had already been paid for in advance and the names of the recipents given.

First time trying this place and it did not disappoint. Hot, delicious take-away. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

Couldn’t fault it. This was my first Michelin experience. Every single dish was beautiful. The price is actually cheap for how amazing the food is. Well worth it.
