Where do I start .... this has to be the best place to eat in The Lakes. It's small , however huge in flavour place, freshly made, hospitality is 1st class. Oh, and if you try the Margaritas, then brace yourself !! 2nd visit and won't be the last... honestly try the food ... delish

I’ve travelled north to south, east to west and THIS is the best burrito I’ve ever had !! This is a must if you fancy something delicious! Owners are great and the food is just as incredible as them! I would recommend this to everyone!!!

So pleased we called by. A small place which was busy inside but luckily the weather was good so we sat on a bench outside. Friendly helpful service and super tasty Mexican food. The best burrito I’ve ever had. Already planning our next walking trip to Ambleside just so that we have an excuse to stop by again!

What a lovely surprise in the middle of Ambleside. The best burrito I’ve ever had. I had the vegetarian and it’s was delicious-fresh vegetables, not too much rice and home made wrap. Very fresh tasting. I would really recommend this place and will definitely come again.

Beautiful, authentic Mexican food. Tasty and refreshing. Marisol cooks everything herself using fresh ingredients. Lovely drinks too - especially the cocktails and 11% Californian triple IPA. Highly recommended!

This is a gem - wish I’d known about it before, the best lunch to be had in Ambleside! Delicious Mexican food - expertly cooked. Had best chicken burrito of my life, husband had beautifully spicy beef burrito, alongside fresh margaritas & New England IPA. Super friendly welcome from owner & wife, we would’ve happily stayed all day. Thank you

We have wanted to try here for a while and finally visited for lunch ! We were welcomed by the lady who owns it ,she took time to advise on her dishes when I asked, and passionately explained how she cook's/ makes them, super friendly ! We ordered 2 soft drinks, a beef burrito and beef quessadilla..£23 She set away cooking whilst we took our seat and when her husband arrived he chatted and took payment..its not a big place but we got a nice window seat , when the food came out it was fantastic ...beautifully cooked..fab flavours in the burrito! We will certainly return .. Go you won't be dissapointed. Such a lovely couple with excellent food..the perfect combo x

The owners were welcoming and interesting people to chat to. It was lovely to have good quality, freshly cooked rice and black beans in the burritos and a great margarita. Great value, quality food. I'll be back.

The staff were very friendly and chatty, great people. The food was really tasty, so I'll definitely go back there to try their other things too. We had a quesadilla and a burrito which were great.

The tacos and margaritas were excellent, and the host even better! Very friendly and accommodated my girlfriend's want for extra spice!

Great quality food, all super-fresh and very tasty. Freshly cooked nachos (not from a bag!) were a treat. A warm welcome from the owners to visitors and locals alike. Would recommend to anybody wanting a hearty afternoon plate-full after a good walk!

A wee hidden gem! Had to wait to get a seat and it was worth it. 4 or 5 things on the menu. Chose the chicken tacos and skirt steak burrito,both were delicious as was the draught Siren beer and tasty Margaritas. 10/10 for food and drink and English guy and Mexican lady couple who own the place were lovely and chatty. We loved it!

My husband and I received a very warm welcome from Chris and Marisol, the food was delicious and the excellent beer selections complemented the cuisine perfectly. Even the pooch was happy with her treats. Fabulous place!

Me and my partner were just looking for a little snack and stumbled upon this little gem. Three choices on the menu, we had tacos and nachos which were fresh and delicious. We sat on a bench eating in the glorious November sun. Lovely staff too

Without doubt, the best food I have eaten in Ambleside...possibly anywhere! The amount of flavours packed into my veggie burrito was off the scale, and the craft ale to wash it down with was a nice touch. If you're in the area, treat yourself to a taste of sunshine, I'll be back every time I'm in town.
