Went for my son’s birthday with a few other friends and the food was great as well as the service. Staff were helpful with getting food to us on time and on demand.

We had takeaway here 2 previous times and the food was amazing. Unfortunately, when we recently ordered, the food was incredibly bland. There was no flavour to it at all. It was very disappointing and even a spicy dish just tasted of nothing. It was like a tinned sauce that had been intensely watered down. The mushroom rice was ok but the curry itself was the worst curry I’ve ever had in my life. Not sure what’s happened since we last ordered but it doesn’t reflect my previous 5 star review. We binned the rest of it when we knew we wouldn’t reheat it the next day.

Took a trip here on Friday night after being in the Quays for the day, we fancied something authentic and chose here purely on the basis of reviews, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The restaurant probably seats about 20 and when we turned up there was a full table of 8 and a table of 2, the atmosphere was great and from arriving to leaving, and through the turnover of tables during the night, the vibe never went flat one bit. The food was really, really nice, we stayed on the Indian side of the menu and were not disappointed with the shami and chicken malai starters, then the plentiful main courses of chicken karahi and jalfrezi with real juicy garlic naans were so nice, we stuffed the lot! Big shout out to Lax who looked after us and everyone else on the night, he was attentive to each table and kept the flow going really well. Next time we’re that way for a night out, we’ll most definitely return, in the meantime I hope the recommendation helps 🙌

What can I add to what I have previously said about Karahi Wok. I now have a serious problem with which dish to order they have up to now been excellent which has left me pondering what to order next time. The only thing I can think of is to continue working through the menu. Wow third world problems. Thank you yet again.

Wife went Chinese,I went Indian and it was fantastic,every flavour came thru and was cooked perfectly,no word of a lie we ended up licking the containers :....will be going to dine in now as hands down was the nicest take-out food i've had in literally years,great job :)

By far the best chinese I have tasted in Manchester. The food portion, the taste , the price everything is on point. Should be a must try for anyone who likes Chinese food and specially indo chinese.

After trying so many Chinese restaurants in Manchester I was quite disappointed as none of them are up to the mark. This restaurant comes as a rescue, good portion size and very very tasty, nothing more is needed, it will make you remember the chinese food taste that you left in India

Although my order was really late (more than an hour) and the guy who made the delivery was a bit cranky and he gave my order to someone else instead of me and noone paid attention to the order instructions I've left about calling me upon arrival instead of knocking on the door, the food, Paid me off. Both quality of ingredients and taste were excellent, I think it is by far, the best Indian food I've ever tasted in Manchester, trully homemade. I'm not going to get into details because if I do so, it's gonna take too long. So, long story short. I will definitely eat from this place again no doubt.

What a great restaurant to return to for the beginning of the festive season. Tried the Chinese for the first time this evening and now regretting it. First time ordering takeout from here. The food was unreal! So so good, and the Cauliflower Singapore Style...just wow! Everything was tasty, great balance of spice and flavour and super fresh! Definitely would order from here again and again.

Wow. Delicious. First time we ordered from here. We ordered online for delivery. I’m a vegi but my other half isn’t so we get to sample a variety. The chicken Indian wraps were amazing my partner said. Loved the battered cauliflower. Veg was so fresh. Not overdone and so crunchy. We booked at short notice and the restraunteur accommodated us in a covid friendly way. The food pleased both of our pallets with having indian and Chinese cuisine. There were some items on the menu we were not familiar with, which was exciting and we were told about them with a good explanation. Drinks orders arrived promptly despite the place being busy with take out orders. We were made to feel special. the food took a little longer than you might anticipate at a usual indian restaurant, but you could tell how fresh it was, so it was certainly worth the wait!

Visited earlier this month , have to say the best indo chinese I have had in whole of Salford till now. Not to forget Kebabs and Veg starters are good as well. Would definitely like to visit again.

AMAZING food - owner was attentive but without being intrusive and after our meal we had a lovely chat with chef too. During the night the collections and deliveries were consistent, always a good sign.Really recommend you give this very small restaurant a try - not in an area you would frequent in a journey, but worth the detour.

We had an amazing experience at Karahi Wok. The place was very clean and their food was scrumptious. We tried Garlic naan, Keema naan and Madras curry with the choice of lamb for the main course and It felt like a feast for our palate. Staff here were courteous. I highly recommend this place.

We visited Karahi Wok for the first time after reading reviews and hearing it was great for vegetarian options, we weren’t disappointed! We were warmly greeted, served promptly and recommended as regards combinations of food and quantities. The service was polite, friendly and very attentive and real care was taken to ensure we were comfortable, our table was kept clean and we enjoyed our meals. The food was beautifully cooked and clearly cooked fresh to order, and also very quick! We were offered the option of having our leftovers packed up to take home. 100% recommend and can also vouch for wonderful vegetarian choice! Thanks, will definitely be returning.

Had food from here for the first time recently, the delivery came quickly and food was delicious. We had the onion bhajis and a tikka madras, portion sizes were very generous and always nice to be able to get spiced chips.

We've used Karahi Wok for a takeaway a couple of times in the past. Today we thought we would try the restaurant. It was well worth it.Really friendly, attentive service. Wonderful food: we had the lamb chops and onion bhaji as starters and then fish curry and lamb karahi for a main course. Everything superb and bursting with flavour. The only question is, what is such an excellent place doing somewhere like Langworthy Road, as it would give most places in the Curry Mile a run for their money.

If like us, you like Indo- Chinese food this is a very good choice. You have the regular Indian food menu as well as Indian Street menu. We came here with my kids and ordered Paneer pakoda, chicken satay, chicken domain and prawn crackers for starters. Had chicken noodles mild for kids and schezwan extra spicy for me and regular chicken curry and naan for us and a jug of mango lasso. I should say the food was amazing, so fresh and tasty. The quantities were good too. Would highly recommend to anyone one . Parking at rear and good customer service

Very friendly, efficient service. We have ordered on-line and over the phone. We have had three take-aways of various Indian dishes and all have been excellent. My partner eats meat and I’m vegetarian. This evening I had Paneer Tikka Masala which was THE best Indian dish I have ever tasted due to the wonderful sauce. Delivery is fairly fast, usually quicker than stated.

Hi, so i took my teen children here and the review will be based on our collective overall experience. Starter was good, the mixed grill was overpriced for the amount served in comparison with other restaurants, no lamb chops only lamb pieces, and the level of spice was very low for authentic indian food, my children eat low level of spice and found the soice level was too minimal for them. I would ask for a spicy sauce or green chilli accompaniament if i were to go here again, since i was told the level of spice in starters cannot be increased due to them not being a saucy item. The flavours were good however, very nice fish, chicken and kebab. The poppadoms and sauce with salad was very enjoyable and interesting combination, again, the mango sauce ran out, the amount given for the number of poppadoms could have been increased. The dahi puri were nice, 4 in a portion. Nothing too exciting but tasty. The mains were good. Biryani was nicely spiced and flavoursome. The korma had very little meat and lots of sauce. The noodles i found delicious, the highlight of the night and im glad i ordered two so i could take a portion home. The kung pao lamb was unimpressive, kids didnt enjoy it really. I realised we had over ordered the amount of rotis so tried to cancel 1 before the main came out, but was told we could not. Mango lassi was really tasty but was too thick and warm for our taste so we ordered ice and put it in the jug. There was a good amount of lassi so was pleased with that. Place was empty, but seemed busy for delivery, service was really good, kumar very attentive and friendly. Would have liked to see more varied menu, sweet n sour dish, chicken curry chinese style, maybe some chicken wings or something too. Overall we really enjoyed the experience, the food was tasty but would have liked more variety and also, the portion sizes could have been more family friendly. We eat out a lot and the bill was higher than that of other similar places for the same amount, if not more, food, and although we were full, if our usual party of 6 instead of 5 had attended, we would have not had enough. So a good meal, nice little place but slightly overpriced for what it is, in our humble opinion.

Indian is one of my favourites, mainly is Akbar’s where I choose to go all the time but my god this place is amazing, the staff go above and beyond and the food is to die for, really is the best Indian I have had in the Manchester/Salford area it’s a must to try this restaurant out, will definitely be my go to restaurant in future

Third visit in last six months and as good as ever. Food is freshly cooked and well worth the wait, scrumptious and served on a warm plate. Staff are friendly and attentive observing covid regulations, small restaurant with homely atmosphere so would advise you book

I've not had any of the Chinese food from here, but I've had a lot of curries and they have been consistently excellent, and a cut above other takeaways in the area. Both the Karahi Chicken and Lamb Saag are particularly good. Delivery is good and service is excellent. I forgot to order cucumber raita on the last order, called up and they gave it to us anyway. I don't get curries from anywhere else anymore.

I ordered a takeaway last night. The chicken tikka starter was lovely full of flavour. A chicken tikka jalfrezi had a few too many peppers in for me but that’s just my personal taste but was delicious. The portion size for the pilau rice was huge and would be enough for 2 people. The naan bread is the nicest I have tasted in a long time. What stood out for me was the service, the gentleman I spoke to on the phone was extremely polite and very courteous when I went it to collect my order. I will definitely be visiting again.
