Love this place, portions are very generous and always lots of chicken. I order regularly and it’s always on time, tastes fantastic and the staff are lovely. I’ve recommended to friends who have all been impressed. My sons favourite by far.

Fab food, service (especially weekly chats with Graham) and always has top quality tasty curry and sundries. Been coming here since it was Empire Tandoori back in the 80's. Was my dad's favourite place to have curry from. Would recommend to anyone. Best curry place in Swinton 👏👏👏

Price of food not low, but I know what I paying for. Food presertation the same as a restaurant level, very tasty never disappointed. Food always cooked fresh.

Best curry in Manchester I come to curry corner for a curry all the time, and I’ve told numerous people about how great it is. The food is always delicious and fresh, the naan bread is amazing. All the staff are friendly, I really can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10 every time!

LS Lowry the artist used to live across the road from here, hence the name Laurence Drive. He was at 117 Station Road, Pendlebury where he lived for 40 years with his mother Elizabeth.Working as a rent collector, Lowry took art classes by night, tutored by French Impressionist, Adolphe Valette, then painted into the early hours of the morning at Station Road, when his mother fell asleep, to hone his craft. When she became bed-ridden, Lowry cared for his mother in that house. Depressed after the death of her husband, Elizabeth died in 1939, without seeing her son recognised for his ability.But it was in that five-bedroom rented property that the artist produced masterpieces. And yet anyone passing today could be forgiven for having no idea of the building's historical importance.

Food is always freshly made, good size portions and great service my favourite place for a treat

Ordered a chicken curry for home delivery. Speedy delivery but the food was so bland as to be tasteless. Luckily my husband had a madras curry so was able to mix some of his sauce into my dish.

A takeaway starting to believe their invincibility. Incredible rudeness on the phone over a question about paneer cheese. Curry came 35 mins late, oily, some dishes wrong and bland.

Been using Curry World/Corner for about 5 years and they're usually spot on. However, my most recent order should have contained a large vindaloo sauce but it was completely lacking in favour & spice. I'm willing to bet the chef had just laddled a portion of their base sauce into a container. I should have sent it back but was going out and didn't have time to wait for another delivery. I'll probably order again but if the food disappoints again, I'll be moving to a new takeaway.

Just got the credit crunch offer omg 😲 Unbelievable food!! everything I ate absolutely smokes any other Indian there is. don't know how its possible to get the amount of food you get at that quality. From the the chicken tikka to the onion bhajis, the korma and special mix rogan Josh Wow 👌 And the popadoms are the cleanest I've had. everyone has to try this place!!! Top guys to really look after you.

I am Indian & Pakistani, so I find it difficult to find good, authentic tasting curry. I ordered the Set Meal for 2 (A) and my family and I are overwhelmed at how good the food was. The curries were abundant with meat, good flavour, naan cooked properly, plenty of sauces and salad. The curries I ordered were the lamb karahi and a chicken karahi. 100% will return. You will not be disappointed

First time i have ordered and waa really looking forward to trying this take away and i wont be ordering again Soggy onion bhajis Egg fried rice has absolutely no taste or flavour The chefs choice Tandoori exotica was tasteless chicken was ok. lamb was dry and the sheek kebab was chewy Garlic and cheese Naan didnt even taat of garlic VERY disappointed cost £17 total waste of money

Ordered a curry tonight (2nd time ordering aswell with the first order being amazing.) Unfortunately we missed the delivery. Got a phone call from them and they could have been horrible about the incident. Instead, they where nothing but nice and accommodating - had taken my food back to repackage and check due to it raining, and redelivered it within about 10 mins of the phone call. The food was still hot and most importantly delicious.

The offer saves the customer over £10, which is far from us being greedy. The ingredients have gone up in price, so unfortunately businesses have to reflect this in the prices they charge. We are sorry that you feel this way and that you can't see the great value that is offered. We have over 300 customers take advantage of this offer Monday to Thursday. Regarding our delivery charge! I think you will find that we are one of the cheapest in the area. Our delivery drivers do need to be paid, all our customers can save on the delivery charge by simply collecting their food.

Used to have a curry once a week not no more why the PRICE INCREASE everything on the menu has increased The credit crunch offer has increased by £3 and that's collection if u want it delivered that's a extra £2 on top When take aways are raking it in they increased the prices GREEDY

I ordered some food today the waiting time was 40 minutes, thats was no problem. But by time it came 2 HOURS later , the food came cold. I phone them up to complain and they said I will have a new order in 10 minutes. I waited 40 minutes. Still not come. Phone them back to cancel the food. Now I'm £15 down and no food.

Very upset ordered food tonight usually their curries are delicious got bhuna and vindaloo both lacked flavour very bland like spices were missing or different chef in past ive had delicious currys so dont know whats happened tonight

Bland. Bland. Bland. Ordered a takeaway at 17:47, it eventually turned up 18:53 and the delivery driver had to ring us to come outside to get it because he couldn't see the number of the flat. It is very obvious and I pointed it out to him when I opened the door. Like other delivery drivers around here, they do not want to deliver it to your door if there are a few stairs involved. If I'd have wanted to go out for the food I'd have ordered it for collection. Chicken pakoras grease grease grease and no flavour. The chips I think had been heated up several times and were disgusting. My partners chicken tikka masala had no flavour at all. The chicken passanda of that is what you would call it. I ordered a chicken passanda but I'm not sure what type of curry I got. Whatever it was it had no taste and the chicken was overcooked. And I don't just mean dry it was charred black and over cooked. The best part of the meal was the popadoms. The food was cold by the time we got to eat it. I understand that it is busy but the takeaway is 5 mins away in the car. Where had the delivery driver been before he came to us for it to be that cold. Overall very dissatisfied.

Food absolutely disgusting I wouldn't even eat food from here even if they paid me. Food takeaways like this should be shut down. So oily no taste and chewy. People honestly stay away.

I didn't have high hopes for a place called "curry world", but it was near our house so decided to try it. And I have say it was decent, fair priced, everything tasted great n was fresh. They even gave us an extra poppadom, yogurt n salad with it. Not bad for Swinton.
