Got a takeaway great food good quantity only negative they forgot our onion bhaji chicken tikka pathia was really good

Always feel welcome, and food is top grade. Must admit it is one of the best tasting curry houses in salford. Ricky, the owner is very welcoming and hospitality is fantastic. If I wasn't on a diet I would be there all the time.

Best Indian takeaway weve ever had! Seriously, we've eaten in the curry mile and the midlands but this beat all of them!! We collected the order and were met by the lovely Ricky, who made us very, very welcome whilst we waited. Everything tasted amazing and was soo fresh, it's our new favourite Indian!

Was in Manchester for work (came from Birmingham) so thought I eat before I head back. Found this restaurant on the internet. Went on 25th June and had a brilliant experience. Lady who served me was extremely friendly and provided a really excellent service. The owner also came and personally and had a good chat to ensure I was okay. The food was brilliantly made and delicious. I also got a complimentary poppadum and a meat samosa starter.

Authentic taste, amazing place, good portions. Highly recommended❤️

Order a takeaway to be delivered and got chicken tikka masala and butter chicken, mushroom rice, garlic naan and chicken pakoras and it was amazing! The best we’ve had in Manchester so far. Ricky the delivery driver was very nice and came very fast! Will deffo be ordering here again!

I have ordered food twice from this place in the last few weeks unsung their online portal. Both times, the food order failed to complete, I rang the restaurant and it went straight to answerphone for 30 minutes. It seems that it is closed. Had t get refunds from Just Order. Not happy - why take orders and charge for them, if you are closed?

Beautiful food very well flavoured and presented portions are good too . My rotis were just like home fired to perfection im so happy my friend brought us to you. Not been here before but I'll be back absolutely delicious

Akhtar is a great host. Really attentive and full of anecdotes. Had the tandoori set meal and it was incredible. Far too much for 2 but they happily bagged the rest to take home. We WILL be back

I was working nearby and got talking to the owner and main chef. What a nice guy. He made me a beautiful chicken jalfreizi whilst I nibbled on some popadoms. The food was cooked fresh and was amazing. I’ll be certainly be back soon *****

Barely any to zero meat at all in two of the lamb curries. It’s a shame as we were searching and it was a bunch of tomatoes and peppers. We ordered a lot of food to celebrate a birthday and spent a lot so it was a shame that they were so stingy with the meat. I may as well have been a vegan and on that note, chana was lovely. I recommend that.

I was in Swinton for a few days ( Traveling from Canada ) and I went for a walk in my Swinton neighborhood and I could Smell this Wonderful cooking aroma ... it led me to Jaypur Balti. It was dinner time so I stopped in and I Had such a wonderful Meal ... the waitresses were very nice and quick to serve. The Owner introduced himself and was very friendly. I enjoyed the Butter Chicken with Naan Bread. A very good portion of food and very VERY tasty. A wonderful meal ... A+++

We have orderded the food from deliveroo but if your restaurent is closed then why are taking the order please run your business which will cause no harm to people.

Went in late evening on mother's day. Welcomed as always by Akbar(ricky as he is known) he always welcomes customers with a big infectious smile. The service and food is second to none. Ricky really looks after his customers well, we only go in the Jaypur 4 to 5 times a year, Ricky always remembers us and treats us like royalty.

I visited Jaypur Balti 3 years ago and gave it a 5 star review because it really was brilliant. Since then we ordered a take away and the delivery driver(who is also the chef and manager) was rude to my partner so we decided to give it a couple of years before we visited again. Last night we went for a meal around half 5, their was two young girls serving,they were nice enough but we got brought drinks that we didn't order and it was really slow service because they were stood on their phones alot, there was only two other tables filled in the restaurant. One of the dishes we bought was not cooked through an tasted really bad,we sent it back as soon as we realised it wasn't right and then the manager came over and basically told my partner that he had met young girls like me that had eyes bigger than their belly😆. The dharl we ordered was inedible because of the amount of burnt garlic that was in it. Trying to get staffs attention was really hard and then when I nipped to the toilet I saw the manager being really rude to the young girls that worked their but he quickly changed when he saw me. We asked for a chocolate fudge cake and the bill and didn't get either for at least half an hour. When the cake came,it was that frozen that when I put my spoon in to it it flew off my plate. I went to got my coat to leave because our taxi had arrived an I mentioned to the waitress who served me that the cake was inedible because it was frozen and still had frost on it and she said "I know I'm sorry" All in all this was probably one of the worst dining experience I have ever had and I definitely will not be returning though I really hope that they can get the place up to the standard that it used to be. I think with a little more training in all areas this place could improve alot.

The Jaypur Balti has been a long standing and well established eatery in the heart of Swinton. It is a small and intimate establishment which means you get excellent service which compliments the wonderful selection of very tasty dishes available.

Never disappointed. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is good too and the owner is friendly and polite. I would recommend everyone to go and see your self. Everytime I've been there it's 10/10.

Portion size is very small. The teste was also not upto the mark. Not recommended.

Incredibly disappointed they completely messed us food orders for the booking and the Asian male came to the table shouting at us to be told it’s you and your staff who’s messed the order up. I wasn’t involved in the conversation and went to bar to pay and the man was shouting at me in my face asking why people are complaining I explained I didn’t hear the conversation so why was he shouting at me! He threw the receipt at the poor lovely female servers and laughed in my face. Foolish really as it’s a lovely little place and now 22 people are walking out telling another load of people how poor service was. In fairness the food was nice and it’s a nice little clean place but wow never been spoken to like that before and especially not when it wasn’t me that complained. The staff are spoke to like fodder! Get out your wasted also charged £96 by manager for three curries three rice one chips onion Bahjis three pints and coke. Funny how he snatched the card receiver from staff and put it in himself before throwing it back.

I have been working in Trafford Park and staying in Swinton. I found this little gem of a place and have eaten there around 15 times in the 5 or so weeks l have been here. The food is freshly cooked and is of great value. Ricky - the host has a great smile and is willing to mention different meals to try, often a real treat. I can only summarise by saying it’s a great little place with great food and a fabulous host. Thanks Ricky

I see it has a hygiene food rating of only 2 out of 5 from Salford Council so I won’t be going till there’s a big improvement.

Food is amazing...highly recommend the pathia but whatever you order you won't be disappointed

Absolutely the best curry in Swinton if not Manchester …. Full of flavour, plenty of meat .. excellent service .. will never go anywhere else .. try it you’ll like it. Just eating last nights left overs .. and tastes even better than last night if that’s possible 👍🏽

Let me start of by saying the two staff on today was so sweet and lovely🥺. But the chef I am so disgusted with how rude and aggressive he was with the staff, honestly should not work there it was absolutely horrible and no one deserves that. The food was okay but a little too sweet. He definitely should not be working there!!!!

Visited tonight for daughter 21st and once again wasn't disappointed 👍😁we have been on many occasions ,,,xmas etc and have always found the staff to be polite and efficient xx thanks once again amanda & family X

Well , where do I start?, we had booked for 24 people for my aunts birthday ( booked months in advance and reconfirmed a few days before), when we got there, half of us couldn’t be seated as they had another party in that took up our second long table . ( it is a small restaurant that seats around 34 people ) our booking was at 7pm , finally got our second table and given our menus around 8.30pm and got our starters 45 mins after that. Drinks were extortionate ( over £7 for a single dissarano and Diet Coke) , we were all served at different times and as most of us finished around 10.30pm, some still hadn’t gotten their meals. The room was cold. The two girls serving were run off their feet but very polite and did the best they could. The food was ok but nothing to rave about . Anyway by the end of the night when the owner was informed that there were still meals that had not been served,(fault of the kitchen) he proceeded to shout at his waitresses, was rude and called them lazy and had one of them in tears. If the owner had not double booked us , if the food came out mainly together ( I know that can be difficult with 24 people, but at intervals of between 30 and 90 mins between people getting their order and some not all….), if the drinks were not overpriced and if the owner had not been so disgusting with how he treated his staff, then this would have been a pleasant evening, but my aunts birthday was ruined ( she had travelled from Wales and was the first time in over two years that we had all been able to get together as family) and we all left with a bad taste in our mouths, and not from the food. I cannot stress more that this was down to the owner and not his waitresses . The two stars given are for the waitresses and for adequate food.

Waitresses very good unfortunately only the owner chef doing all the cooking waited nearly 45mins for starter then another 45mins for main 3 lots of people walked out don't blame them we nearly did the same shame a the food was good 🙄

Had another take-out tonight and as always it was amazing. The best Indian meal I have ever tasted. Everything is freshly cooked and I have not one complaint. Not expensive and staff are all friendly. 5 stars Jaypur will definitely order again.

A friend recommended this small restaurant and I am so glad. We went for a meal yesterday evening and the staff were friendly and the chef is happy to adjust the dishes to suit and he checks on customers choices after they have been served to ensure they are happy with the dishes. Had Chicken Pakora as a starter and Mango Malayan with Mushroom rice as a main, and my hubby had the Onion Bhajis and then Lamb Madras with plain rice. Everything we had was really good and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and we will be going again next week.

Popped in to an old haunt that in the past has always delivered good quality food at an affordable price however this time we opted for their special menu when actually the only special thing was the very small portions.Service was slow and below par, not a treat, left is feeling disappointed

Was in the area on business and called into Jaypur Balti. The food was first class and excellent service. The prices were very good also particularly for the high standard of food. The Owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back again soon.

Lovely manager who is always taking care of you! I had his “Ricky’s special” and it was beautiful. Beautiful food and the staff are so friendly and do and excellent job. The place is lovely, cosy and humble. I recommend visiting. There is also free parking across the road which was a large advantage. Absolutely loved it!

Ordered for the first time here. Customer Service is excellent, and when I told then how I like my vindaloo, they said take a seat, here's and drink, no rush when you are ready you can take away. Can't fault this place. Plus they made my head burn off with the way I like my curry. Very highly recommend this establishment

Never been to a curry house before and went with friends and I will definitely be going back! Waiting time was good, food arrived hot and was on a hot-plate so would stay warm no matter how quick or slow you are.

1st time visit to Jaypur - excellent starters followed by excellent mains and even the cobra on draught was excellent - couldn't say anything better than its the best curry I've had since I was last in India - I'll be back again soon

This small restauranut is a little gem in the centre of swinton.The food is cooked exactly as per your order and the flavours are really top notch.The staff from the manager Aktar to every member are very frendly and helpful.

Eaten at various indian restaurants / takeaways in the swinton area that are ok but jaypur balti chorley road swinton is fantastic, the food is always delivered promptley and is tasty & hot, friendly and polite staff and i would reccommend them

We happened to stumble across this place 6 months or so ago. Weve been back multiple times since. The service is brilliant and attentive. They dont rush you but dont let you go hungry either. We have loved it every time we have been. Absolutely stunning food! The king prawns are out of this world. Literally one of the best Indians we have ever been to. We highly recommend!
