The food was amazing authentic touch of indian street food, service was marvelous. Recommend everyone to go and have great taste of life.

Was a long walk from home and needed a quick bite in the later hours of Tuesday evening. I was drawn to Salford Curry King by their gleaming lights, but turns out that brightness was powered by more than just electricity! The sheer warmth, pride, and bright energy from the young man at the counter is a credit to the business. Excellent salesman, picking apart my indecisive mind and his recommendations were on point! As I waited for my food to be prepared, I looked around at the other diners; a good sign was that it was close to 11pm, all tables were full, and not a word spoken! Merely, the sound of satisfied stomachs. I told him I wouldn’t be able to dine in but that I would a review online including my reaction - needless to say, the BEST lamb biryani this side of town. Juicy rice, good amount of heat, soft meat, with bursts of sweetness from the caramelised onion. Just *chef’s kiss* 🤌🏼

I ordered vada pav,idli sambar,chicken biryani. vadapav and idli sambhar I highly recommend was very tasty perfect taste , but I am very disappoint with biryani I highly recommend not to eat if u looking for when asked they said itbis spicy but it was not at allflavourful and spicy not even close to indian biryani

During my recent trip to Salford, I visited Salford Curry King to satisfy my craving for good desi-Chinese cuisine, something that's hard to come by in Scotland. Although I was initially skeptical due to the restaurant's first impression, I decided to give it a shot since I had already arrived. I ordered the Hakka noodles, requesting extra spice to suit my preference, and a portion of paneer chili, hoping for real paneer instead of tofu. While waiting, I was apprehensive, especially after a tiring day, but my doubts were soon dispelled. The food exceeded my expectations in every way. The portion sizes were generous, and the dishes were packed with vegetables, offering great value for money. The taste was incredible, perfectly capturing the authentic desi-style Chinese flavors I had been craving. The Hakka noodles were spicy just the way I liked them, and the paneer chili was spot on with real paneer. To end on a sweet note, I added a chocolate milkshake, which was equally amazing and a delightful finish to my meal. The only downside was the open-style kitchen. The cooking aromas and oiliness made the place a bit exhausting, especially with the cafe doors closed, leading to a somewhat stuffy atmosphere. Despite this, the overall experience was very positive, and I would recommend Salford Curry King for anyone craving authentic desi-Chinese cuisine.

Nice indian breakfast option with good authentic taste

Driver failed to find the location which is a famous Marriot Piccadilly hotel and he intimidated that he will cancel the order if I ddnt come outside to the roadside in 1 AM. This was a terrible experience for me as food orders usually gets delivered to the reception or atleast to the hotel main door and not asking the customer to come to the road.

The curry was ridiculously hot, I got butter chicken and my partner got chicken tikka masala both were stupidly hot. We can handle spicy food but it was only butter chicken...

This spot in Manchester serves up the most incredible chicken biryani I've ever tasted in the city. The portions are generous, and the delivery is consistently punctual. I've frequented Salford Curry King several times, and each experience reaffirms my recommendation. I highly suggest trying their Chicken Biryani, Cauliflower Manchurian, and Schezwan Chicken Noodles. The flavors are so delectable that you'll be left craving more. 😋 Without a doubt, it deserves a perfect 5/5 rating. Everything was great except the chicken lollipop, which tasted a little bit off.

I am quite a fan of their lunch deals - chole batture, aalo paratha, chicken biryani etc. for £5. They have a nice homemade taste. The owner Akhil is super friendly. They also can customise food to our taste increasing or decreasing the spice levels.

The portion sizes have now got way smaller than they used to be, only had 5 chunks of chicken in my curry.. also the sauce now is way thicker than used to be so not as good when ordering chips. I am a VERY particular eater and a massive food snob. Living in salford for the last 5 years I have never found a good curry place here until now!!! The food and service from here really is exceptional and the crazy thing is the price. I would honestly pay so much more. Excellent food excellent service and prices far too cheap in my opinion. Don't bother ordering from anywhere else if you want a curry.

You feel at home. Food taste amazing, warm and kind people, especially Akhil. He is always smiling and never ever has said no, even when I have ordered late. This is true customer service. Must visit/try, menu is amazing, true Indian flavours and great service. Thankyou !

I’ve never ordered from here before, and I won’t order again. The chips were stale, barely any chicken in the curry, the curry sauce itself was gloopy and not appetising at all. The only thing I enjoyed was the chicken tikka starter. I’m sure many people enjoy this place but I just couldn’t eat here again.

Lovely takeaway. All the food was good quality, fair portions and very tasty. My only downfall was the butter chicken was slightly too salty but that’s just personal preference. Will definitely order from here again. :)

Well, we have just found our new curry takeaway. The Chicken Madras, absolute quality the meat was so tender. The sauce is the best locally we have tried, and we have tried most places. The Popadoms and chutneys so fresh and crisp. Even the chips were Excellent. Everything was just so fresh and tasty. If you order here you won't be disappointed. This place is now our new go to place. Big thank you to the team for making and delivering fresh quality food.

After a seven-month absence, revisiting this establishment was a pleasure as the food remained consistently delicious. Their cheese and keema naan, are particular, stands out as the best in Manchester. The staff's professionalism and willingness to explain the menu in detail added to the overall experience. The curry was quite hot compared to earlier orders. Considering that it should be a medium curry strength it was more spicy . It felt as hot as a madras curry . Very disappointed with it tonight.
