Nice curry and naan,will back again

I went to have a dinner with my family in Salford Curry King. As i entered, i really felt warm welcome and I ordered chicken madras, briyani, tandoori broccoli as a starter which was very delicious and mouthwatering. I really suggest all of you to visit specially at the weekends.

I visited so many times . I have eaten noodles , which is very nice , I order chapati so many times what I found is very soft , and fresh, really I will visit again .

As an early and regular customer of Salford curry kings, I'm writing this review with some concern. chicken biriyani, used to be a favorite. But the last few times when I ordered it, the quantity was less and the taste isn't that nice like before. And another concer is you guys using to much colours to dishes.

Dropped into this curry out on my way home and found the food was great, the service was good and the food was reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

The food is amazing, but service is very slow in weekends

I absolutely love this restaurant for how authentic their food is, but I have deducted 1 star for my last experience out of the 10 times that i visited and taken my friends along. The owner is very humble and so is Akhil, who manages the service part. The food is bang on desi, mumbai style. They also alter it according to your choice and requirements. I have tried and would highly recommend a few items : Dahi Puri, Gobhi Munchurian, Chicken Lollypop, Chicken Schezwan Lollypops, Munchow Soup, Chicken/Veg hakka and Schezwan Noodles, Chicken plain and Schezwan fried rice, Chicken Tikka Masala with kadak Tandoori roti, Chicken tandoori, paneer tikka, jeera rice, bhindi masala and not to forget the masala chai. However, last week I ordered some food and specifically mentioned chicken Schezwan Lollypops but got just the fried lollypop and it was so tiny and the veg hakka noodles had such big chunks of cabbage that I literally had to remove everything aside and search for noodles. Considering our regular visits, I hope they take this feedback positively. But I will still visit here for my food cravings.

Awesome place to have food , feels like having food in India

We’ve eaten here twice for lunch and both times I’ve come away saying that is the best curry I’ve ever eaten. First time I had a byrani (my go to dish) but the taste of this one was worlds above anything I’ve ever eaten. This time I had something of their street food menu and I can’t tell you how nice the flavours were, we had the spicy option and the heat from the food was perfect, spicy enough to leave your lips tingling but not so much that it detracts from the flavour of the food. The chaps serving in the shop always polite and friendly which adds to a very enjoyable experience. Would recommend it thoroughly to everyone, I would go as far as saying make a detour to this place even if you are no local to it. A genuine hidden gem of a curry house.

Chicken biryani was stone cold and onion bhaji were cold and crunchy, didn’t enjoy and threw the majority of it away

We order takeaway from here nearly every time we have takeaway night. I’d go as far to say best takeaway in the area Gorgeous food, always comes quick, hot and fresh. And always tastes so good 😍 Really good portions for price too - always have left over for next day My go to is the Chicken Tikka Biriyani, onion bhaji and paneer tikka and it is always delicious

The place is small but amazing. Food was very delicious and aloo paratha with sweet lassi is a must try. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

When I ordered I didn’t notice that the restaurant closed at 12. I ordered at around 11:50. I didn’t think the food was going to come but the staff made my order to absolute perfection and had it out to me after closing time. The food was absolutely amazing, In fact, I’d say it’s the best curry I’ve had in years. Chicken flavoursome and tender. Presentation 10/10. Fresh herbs on top of curry and rice seasoned exceptionally. Thank you guys I appreciate it very much

Ordered a delivery at 19:45 and it came at 21:38, the driver shoved it in my face without an apology. An absolute shambles of a service. It was absolutely stone cold when it arrived and the food was stale/soggy. The Diet Coke I ordered was warmer than the food.

One of the best curries ive had from a takeaway

Placed an order direct on their website (because that's how you're supposed to support local business) but it arrived well later than promised, and were *close*, but still completely wrong. Felt like they were just trying to get rid of stuff they had lay around. Portions were small, and nothing to write home about. Won't be going back there again. Naan bread a particular disappointment.

Just awful.. Yesterday I ordered from them through Deliveroo at 18:05 and I received my order 2.5 almost 3 hours later. Through the app it said it was send out for delivery around 19:10. Curry King is literally down the road from us not that far. Somehow it took so long until we got our food. I have called up multiple times after I waiting 2 hours. They kept saying another 5-10 min and then another 3-5 min, but it took another 45 min. I understand it can be busy but at least don’t keep leading me on that I will get it in few minutes. The communication with them and the driver is a nightmare. I really just wanted to give up on the food by that time and order somewhere else and get the money back. A manager told me my order will be with me soon and to keep it and they would return the money for the trouble. Didn’t get anything back.. Finally the driver turned up, he literally seemed confused and in daze gave me the food, said sorry roads were very busy and walked off slowly (absolutely outrageous, it was a 10 min car ride away and it took him 2 hours!!) The food of course was completely cold. It tasted actually quite nice after microwaving it. But with the constant lies, it was just such a disappointing and terrible experience. I would be careful before ordering from them.

I recently visited Salford Curry King for a big party gathering, and I must say everything was exceptional. The food was delicious, with a great variety to suit everyone’s taste. Each dish was prepared perfectly, and the flavors were on point. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff was incredibly attentive, accommodating, and friendly, making sure that every need was met promptly. Despite the large size of our order, everything arrived timely and hot, and we felt well taken care of throughout the entire meal. Highly recommend for both the food and the excellent service!

I came here through a recommendation from my brother-in-law who is Indian. And as you should know Indian people only eat at restaurants and takeaways that serve proper Indian food. I myself I'm Pakistani I know tell me about it controversial. The food was very nice, flavor was spot on, price was very reasonable I have talk a group of a lads from my gym who I trained with and they all loved it too. The restaurant doesn't lock fancy and by no means is, however the food is delicious.

Really good food but the biryani is quite pricey for what it actually is and the Raita sauce is now in a really small tub, last time I ordered it was a massive tub. If you are charging £3 for a sauce make it worth £3 pls

by far one of the best meals I have ever had. I had one of the noodle dishes with a side of tandoori broccoli. Heavenly! We will be back tomorrow 😅

One of the best spots near Salford Quays/MediaCity for authentic Indian cuisine. The food is bursting with rich flavours, and the lunchtime menu is especially impressive, with perfectly portioned dishes. The service is consistently excellent, making every visit a delightful experience.

The food is amazing, this is some real Indian food with a lot of Pan Asian options. There is a lot of selection and variety too and the place accommodates for vegetarian options. The staff are lovely and are always happy to help and provided great service. Overall I’d say this place is the best value for money in Greater Manchester, the service and the food all top class.

Was a long walk from home and needed a quick bite in the later hours of Tuesday evening. I was drawn to Salford Curry King by their gleaming lights, but turns out that brightness was powered by more than just electricity! The sheer warmth, pride, and bright energy from the young man at the counter is a credit to the business. Excellent salesman, picking apart my indecisive mind and his recommendations were on point! As I waited for my food to be prepared, I looked around at the other diners; a good sign was that it was close to 11pm, all tables were full, and not a word spoken! Merely, the sound of satisfied stomachs. I told him I wouldn’t be able to dine in but that I would a review online including my reaction - needless to say, the BEST lamb biryani this side of town. Juicy rice, good amount of heat, soft meat, with bursts of sweetness from the caramelised onion. Just *chef’s kiss* 🤌🏼

I ordered vada pav,idli sambar,chicken biryani. vadapav and idli sambhar I highly recommend was very tasty perfect taste , but I am very disappoint with biryani I highly recommend not to eat if u looking for when asked they said itbis spicy but it was not at allflavourful and spicy not even close to indian biryani

During my recent trip to Salford, I visited Salford Curry King to satisfy my craving for good desi-Chinese cuisine, something that's hard to come by in Scotland. Although I was initially skeptical due to the restaurant's first impression, I decided to give it a shot since I had already arrived. I ordered the Hakka noodles, requesting extra spice to suit my preference, and a portion of paneer chili, hoping for real paneer instead of tofu. While waiting, I was apprehensive, especially after a tiring day, but my doubts were soon dispelled. The food exceeded my expectations in every way. The portion sizes were generous, and the dishes were packed with vegetables, offering great value for money. The taste was incredible, perfectly capturing the authentic desi-style Chinese flavors I had been craving. The Hakka noodles were spicy just the way I liked them, and the paneer chili was spot on with real paneer. To end on a sweet note, I added a chocolate milkshake, which was equally amazing and a delightful finish to my meal. The only downside was the open-style kitchen. The cooking aromas and oiliness made the place a bit exhausting, especially with the cafe doors closed, leading to a somewhat stuffy atmosphere. Despite this, the overall experience was very positive, and I would recommend Salford Curry King for anyone craving authentic desi-Chinese cuisine.

Nice indian breakfast option with good authentic taste

Driver failed to find the location which is a famous Marriot Piccadilly hotel and he intimidated that he will cancel the order if I ddnt come outside to the roadside in 1 AM. This was a terrible experience for me as food orders usually gets delivered to the reception or atleast to the hotel main door and not asking the customer to come to the road.
