Been tonight, not been for a while. And yet, the food, drinks and service remain exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Continuing a tradition of proper fish and chips. No cards though, cash only. Quality food, great service. Always tasty chips 👍 Update ~ still the best chops in town, and always a friendly welcome 😀😉🎅 👍👍🤘

Absolutely excellent. Gorgeous attentive staff, lovely and clean with smart decor. We sat in the dog friendly area which was draft free and warm and our pooch was well looked after too. Food was delicious, great menu that catered for everyone including gluten free with a mix of british and greek style options and choices. Double recomend as the perfect place for a goodbye before dropping a loved one off at the airport. We will definitely come again. Thank you! Xx

I came to this place once I called a hidden gem of Greek meals. Sticky tables, rare smiles, however that’s the people. I order chicken wrap, pork main and hallumi salad. Dressing on the salad was terrible, chicken wrap cold, pork cold and undercooked. It was edible, but I don’t think that I will recommend this place to any of my friends.

Lovely and cosy Greek restaurant in Liverpool with live music in specific days since 1970s. Lousia and her daughter are great hosts! Should try their fresh made meals , specially meat and lahmajun along with an ouzo, raki (if you fancy) or wine and finale with one of their delicious deserts!

Good food, big portions. Ate from the set menu and the choice was great.

Genuinamente una de las mejores comidas que he tenido. No vivo en Liverpool, así que he estado anhelando esta comida desde lol. Tenía las papas fritas cargadas de avo que nunca había tenido nada como antes, estaba delicioso. Toda mi familia disfrutó de su comida, tuvimos 0 quejas y éramos 10! Volveré cuando esté en Liverpool.

We have eaten here several times and the food is always great. Plenty of it and very tasty. The staff are always pleasant and helpful too. The only thing that disappointed me this time was that we didn't get the chocolate brownie at the end. I know it's free, but I always look forward to it. It finishes the meal off beautifully. Other people were given them , but not us. Don't know why. We still had a lovely time, just left a little disappointed.

We visited the Rake last night, 27/12/24. We were seated straight away as we had pre-booked our table. We could see it was really busy so expected to wait for service. We were asked by a lovely lady what we would like to drink, we asked to see a drinks menu first. She went off to get it and never came back. After a wait, we asked a lovely young man could we have the drinks menu and he got us one instantly. We ordered our food on pices of paper(as you do) And handed it in. After a while, the first item came out, my oh garlic bread. Then one of mine came out. My son, who was treating us waited so long for his first tapas that our second dishes arrived. Not good at all. He got his eventually. I have to say that the food was excellent! Pricey, but well worth it. The wine prices are really expensive so be prepared for that. We had a great night with gorgeous food. Service was good, but a bit slow. Staff are lovely, rushed off their feet but still happy and smiling.

Este lugar es fantástico. El entorno, el servicio y la comida. Llevamos años aquí y seguiremos haciéndolo. Siempre tenemos el meze que no puedo elogiar lo suficiente. Una empresa familiar con un ambiente maravilloso, un servicio amable y atento y la comida más deliciosa de los alrededores.

Absolutamente helado en este restaurante a la 1 : 30 pm - todo el mundo dejó sus abrigos puestos durante toda la comida (incluyendo la camarera . ) 45 minutos de espera para los alimentos demasiado caros y poco cocinados, algunos de los cuales se devolvieron ya que no eran comestibles . No he estado en este restaurante durante varios años y pensé en darle otra oportunidad, realmente desearía que no nos hubiéramos molestado.

Stumbled across this quirky little eatery. Staff were great, helped us choose after being unsure what to order. Delicious lunch , definitely will return
