First time - never again. Waited over half an hour for what amounted to a mountain of junk food. Unhealthy, no real discernable taste, except that it was absolutely drenched in salt - so unlike the healthy, colourful Greek food I've come to love.

Lovely food but…only half the order turned up meaning one person was without a meal. When we called to enquire we were told to follow the refund through the Uber app and order again. We tried to reorder but their internet orders were down and after many calls ringing out we gave up and ordered else where.

Lucy was very friendly and helpful, she helped me order exactly what I wanted off menu. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! We will definitely be back!

Visited this restaurant many times as the food and service is ALWAYS exceptional! Great value for money and lovely atmosphere, very clean and welcoming :) The waitress Elsa has served us on many occasions and always goes above and beyond to ensure we have a lovely dining experience. Love this place. Food is both amazing and plentiful, the chef’s think ‘portion control’ is a conspiracy theory. Just go, order too much, loosen your keks, get involved and continually say ‘I couldn’t eat another bite’, while picking at your left overs until the staff come and save you from yourself. I’m bad with with names but I think Zoe (spelling?), Lucy (spelling) and Ketia (defo got that one wrong) were serving and cooking tonight, and in a Friday night peak service they were calmer and friendlier than person who invented Zen. I almost marked this place down a star as it’s not closer to my house… which is selfish of them.

We love a visit to lark lane anyway ut only saw this place on a Chester social media page and decided to go and see if we could find it whilst out walking our dogs and planned to return another day without the dogs to try the food and were excited to see MeatMe is dog friendly 😊 I ordered a mixed Souvlaki which was absolutely amazing cooked to perfection and the portions are massive and served on stainless steel spades my other half didn't have a big appetite so stole from my plate and also had some Hummus and french fries we loved all we ate and the staff were lovely we will be returning again as we wanted to try the Chicken Gyros meal but it wasn't available today so just another reason to return another day.....

The food is pretty average here. The hummus was disgusting and had the texture of wallpaper paste it was so thick and grainy. The meal itself was served in a feed scoop which was just impractical and made it hard to eat. Sauces were in paper cups which just disintegrated. The flavour was fine, nothing special and the chicken was rather dry. I wouldn’t say it’s good value for money at £25 per person, unfortunately we wouldn’t come back.

One of my favourite lunch spots on the lane, the food is always fantastic & the staff are always friendly and hard working. Always a joy every time I eat there, if you’re looking for a great place for quality of food and for the price then you don’t have to look far! Ps. The feta spring rolls are incredible!

The food was nice but it was let down by the service. I asked for extra stuff and it didn’t appear. It also took along time for the bill to come and for the card machine.

Superb experience here this evening (Saturday night), despite being very busy and not having a booked table they managed to accommodate us with great friendly service and some genuinely fantastic food. Very good quality and generous portions, we all left stuffed having spent a very modest amount. Thoroughly recommended!

Tuvimos visita familiar y reservamos Meatme. Éramos diez. La comida era increíble, con porciones generosas y era una gran relación calidad-precio. El personal era muy amable y atento también.

Tenía grandes esperanzas para este lugar, pero la comida no era genial. La envoltura que tenía eran solo unos restos de pollo. Pequeños trozos no disfruté de la comida en absoluto.

The food here is absolutely gorgeous so can't fault that.. only problem was where we were seated! Right by the door which doesn't shut properly and we were freezing. Asked if we could be seated upstairs and was told that all tables were allocated... We moved slightly out of the way of the door and every customer who was given the table by the door after us and asked to be moved got given a table upstairs so all of the tables obviously weren't allocated!! That was annoying! Also the 'Just Eat' guys standing by your table waiting for orders was a bit off putting! Shame because the food is unreal!

Absaloutly awful waited 45 minuites for starter wat come with the main meal the tazihni sauce was like water very disappointed waited to order drinks for ages never ended up with one not impressed at all bn couple of times before but never again

The food and company was brilliant as usual and will definitely be going back, sorry only just the 1 photo to busy eating and drinking but trust me it was great, so if you do go and try it for yourself ENJOY

As a connoisseur of fine dining, I approached this Greek establishment with measured expectations. However, I must begrudgingly admit that *this*—and I do not say this lightly—was a triumph of Mediterranean cuisine. The ingredients, clearly of impeccable quality, were treated with the respect and mastery one would expect from a French kitchen, yet delivered with a distinctly Greek passion. As for the service—efficient, though lacking a certain air of refined attentiveness one would expect in the more discerning echelons of dining. Nevertheless, the atmosphere, casual yet tasteful, allowed the food to take center stage, as it rightly should. In conclusion, this Greek restaurant has earned my reluctant admiration. A rare gem that elevates Greek cuisine to heights one might not expect, but will undoubtedly appreciate. Bravo—though let us not get carried away.

Bardzo fajna restauracja zlokalizowana przy ulicy gdzie konkurencja jest dość spora. Podczas pobytu w Liverpoolu odwiedziłem większość z tych restauracji przy tej ulicy, więc jest porównanie. Restauracja serwuje pyszne greckie jedzenie. Porcje są spore i bardzo dobre. Obsługa zasługuje na najlepszą ocenę ponieważ kelnerki są bardzo miłe i wprowadzają rodzinna atmosferę do lokalu.

What a gem of a place in Liverpool. The food was amazing. So many flavors across all their meals. Big portions to fill you up. You will not be disappointed if you come here. Service was also exceptional with Dimitri being a fantastic host.

A very nice restaurant located on a street where there is quite a lot of competition. While in Liverpool I visited most of these restaurants on this street so there is a comparison. The restaurant serves delicious Greek food. The portions are large and very good. The service deserves the best rating because the waitresses are very nice and bring a family atmosphere to the place.

¡EVITA A TODA COSTA! No voy a pasar mucho tiempo en esta reseña porque no quiero darle a este lugar mi hora del día ni siquiera para decirles lo malo que es. 1 hora de calle visitada a principios de 2024 y selecciona el plato de pollo zocolavki o algún tipo de cena. Llegó a la mesa y parecía un kebab ya hecho que comprarías a Tesco. Estaba en una brocheta de madera y en el extremo del mango de la brocheta estaba el nombre de MEGA SOUVLAKI. ahora al principio pensé que esto era solo carne me nombra nombre genérico para su kebab de pollo (no era mega de ninguna manera forma o forma) de todos modos después busqué en google mega souvlaki y he aquí es una marca de pollo congelado que venden estos kebabs listos listos hechos listos saborizados y congelados por la caja grande. Genial id solo comer un poco de pollo congelado sin sabor que les costó unos 20 p por pincho y el único esfuerzo que el restaurante puso en él fue poner un poco de sal en él y tirarlo a la parrilla. De todas formas la segunda vez que fui hace poco, agosto de 2024, me reuní con un amigo allí y se me hizo tarde, así que ordenaron para mí, una especie de envoltura de giroscopio de pollo que solo podría describirse como ATROZ... Es como cuando te dan un sándwich de jamón del supermercado y solo te dan un tajo de jamón cargado de ensalada y dos trozos de pan, este era el mismo principio, una cantidad minúscula de pollo rallado, no muy sabroso, un montón de patatas fritas empacadas para abultarlo, ensalada marchita y tomates y algo de salsa asquerosa que sabía como si hubiera estado allí durante semanas. El propietario no fue visto en ninguna parte, ya que dice estar en muchas de las críticas que se han visto dejar en el viaje asesor, y el personal no podía menos y actuó muy ocupado a pesar de que el lugar solo tenía unas pocas mesas en (que puedo ver por qué) Me encantaría este lugar para ser bueno, ya que disfruto de la comida griega y me gusta un giro en las cosas, pero este lugar no marca ninguna casilla.

My husband and I went here for a wee celebratory anniversary lunch, and we were welcomed by a lovely staff member who was attentive without being overpowering. The restaurant was lovely, it is small as all places are on Lark Lane, but does have more seating upstairs too. Due to this I wouldn't say it is too pram or wheelchair friendly unfortunately. We took our wee baby girl in her car seat and sat this on the table. We chose to get the "Afternoon Tea" which was AMAZING! Honestly couldn't rave about it more! It came with three levels - meat & bread, loaded fries and then salad. It was sooo full after eating it, it was just delicious. Loved it and will definitely be back!! 🙌🏻😁

Absolutely cannot rate this place any higher. Food was gorgeous, very reasonably priced (especially for Lark Lane it must be said). We had a mixed "afternoon tea for two" which for £40 was well worth it. Will be going back in the future rest assured.

Very impressed with the food - fresh and good quality. We had the "Afternoon tea" a sharing meal for two. The salad, fries and meat all very good and felt authentic. Our friends ordered wraps and loaded fries and also enjoyed. Service was good and friendly and prices are reasonable. Staff were very helpful with baby changing facilities too. We would definitely return and recommend.

First time visit last night. The staff are charming and welcoming. I have food intolerances. The waitress asked about any allergies, and brought me a file with a comprehensive list of all allergens in all dishes. This was so helpful. The menu isn't extensive, but there was still a fair amount of choice. Non meat dishes as well. Prices are reasonable. I had loaded fries. My partner and our friend had sovlaki. The portions are really big and we all enjoyed our food. Drinks prices were about the usual. We will definitely return.

Fabulous food, great selection of vegetarian options too. Mid week evening meal, which was very busy. There's 2 floors. All staff were flat out, but service was a little slow, however we could see why, staff were very friendly and apologised for our wait. The food was delicious and plentiful.

Found this restaurant after visiting Sefton Park. Had an excellent meal (souvlaki skewers, my wife had mixed skewers). Very clean and waitress (sorry don't know your name) was really pleasant. Highly recommended if you are in Lark Lane. Well worth a visit and 5 star review. Won't hesitate to return.

We absolutely love this place - we come from Widnes just for this, it’s actually only about 20 mins away, well worth the trip. Zoè and her colleagues are so friendly and welcoming and the food is spot-on! If you like this type of Greek food, you won’t be disappointed - I’ve had a fair few souvlaki/gyros and Meat Me’s are right up there among the best! Thanks for another great visit!!

I went with my son who is a vegetarian - so if you’re veggie - don’t be put off by the name of the restaurant - they do excellent veggie food. The service was fast, the staff were great. My son ordered something he couldn’t finish as it was huge and we took a box of leftovers away, put it in the fridge, and he had it 24 hours later and it was delicious. The Greek salad was amazing as was the tsatsziki - I would heartily recommend this place. Our waitress might be my favourite waitress ever

Food was excellent 👌. The only reason why I dropped a star on service is the waitress brought the water with a slice of lemon in. My partner is allergic and we mentioned it.

We are here last night and food was amazing. From the minute we arrived the service was outstanding. All staff really went out of their way and were smiling the whole time, especially Stella who helped us choose what to eat. Would definitely recommend and will be returning with the family.

Unreal. This place is a must try. Real authentic Greek food. Meat perfectly cooked and seasoned. Chips perfect. Pita perfect. Veggies all fresh. Highly recommended. Mustard Mayo was sooo good.

Went there for our dinner! Really enjoyed the food! Meat was so tender be it lamb chicken or pork - we ordered the mix souvlaki skewers , chicken gyros wrap ! Great food, great service ! Staff was very welcoming and friendly ! With 2 drinks our total bill was £39 plus voluntary tip! Highly recommend it!

It's a cosy little place and the food is fantastic! I don't always rate greek/Mediterranean places as the only veggie options seems to be a halloumi kebab, but there was a whole meat free section to the menu with a variety of choices.

One of our worst dining experiences in Liverpool! Food was mediocre at best, with hummus being a few degrees short of frozen and their pork being very low quality. Complete lack of interaction with the servers and had to be prompted multiple times to get their attention. Also, when we arrived we were pointed and grunted at to a chair instead of being seated, had to ask to order drinks and food separately, and to get the bill and no one asked how our food mid-meal, quite bland meat with the highlight being the chips. Overall looks lovely inside so is a massive shame for the business.
