Food absolutely delicious, we got mixed chicken and pork gyros, talagani cheese fries and loukoumades with milk chocolate. All of the food was fresh, hot, seasoned perfectly and more than enough in each portion. The staff are so lovely and friendly too - will definitely be back here again soon!

Their pita wrap is the closest to authentic Greek gyros I have ever tasted in the UK! Cooked traditionally on rotating skewers! 10/10

I'm not one to write reviews but the food here is absolutely delicious, so I felt compelled to give credit where credit is due. I ordered a chicken gyros with halloumi and white chocolate lokomades and it didn't disappoint. The gyros was mouthwateringly fresh, hot and packed to the brim with quality ingredients and the lokomades were just stunning - insane!! Crispy, hot, chewy, fluffy, light and smothered in warm melted chocolate. There aren't enough superlatives in the English language to describe how tasty their food is. None of this MSG riddled rubbish you'll find in the Subway next door, proper hearty, healthy, guilt free food just like mama made. Honestly guys just give it a go - you'll be going back again and again. ❤️

Fab service. The poor lad was nervous about being in Toxteth as he was outside the gate and apprehensive about coming up the front path. Food was superb. Left extremely full and both sauces had plenty of kick and garlic in them. Very content afterwards. Everything came wrapped and packaged beautifully. I will add to regular and order again very soon.

Absolute delight, large portion of mixed pork, chicken kebab. Order was delivered quick with enough food to fill a platoon. On top of this the food was delicious, a small part of Greece hidden away in scouser land, would eat again 10/10

First time ordering here last night, For the price and being located in town centre it is very competitive and fairly priced. The wrap (think it's called a gyros) is nice and thick, there was a lot of meat (I ordered pork) and it was nice and marinated but not spicy which is great as it is hard to go anywhere these days that hasn't been saturated in spice. I also didn't notice lots of fat which is another plus point. The chips were much better than other faster food outlets as they are skin on fries, not sure if home made or bought but they are tasty, the sauce I had was also very nice and thick and creamy. I only left out 1 star though because the chips were stuffed in the wrap and I personally would have preferred them separately so that more salad could be put in the wrap and maybe just a few extra of the tasty chips. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I left out only 1 star for atmosphere because of the smoke from a couple of outside smokers in the designated outside area was wafting through the indoors. I asked could I close the door and staff were polite and agreed but then luckily the smoker had left but the smoke still lingered. Obviously the size of the outdoor area is limited being on Bold street and you can't control everyone's actions however I think this is an issue especially for folk like myself with lots of health issues so therefore maybe some steps could be taken to mitigate it more like enforced signs of no smoking and air purifier fans close to the indoor seating areas, and as I personally didn't notice these things that's why I left out 1 star. Overall though a great decision to eat here.

Food was very tasty and good portions but I go a different box meal from this that I ordered. I hope I will get some money back for it but besides that food was great. It was also pretty quickly delivered. Order status was change few times.

Amazing food. The chicken gyro with tzatziki was delicious. Same with the chicken skewers in the no carb / salad box. Packed with flavour 👌

"you will come and prepare the pita wrap yourself..... this was the answer that Mou gave after he prepared the food instead of telling 'enjoy',it's an open kitchen, I don't know why someone should be angry because I was watching him while he was preparing the food, lets not say he works in a kitchen as a "chef"and needs a dress code (he was wearing a big coat and hoodie covering his head) when l asked him that can i see your manager or boss, he said that I am the boss here. The food is good but the staff need costumer service training

There is a sauce on my pitta that I didn't request, which has wrecked the meal for me. Delivery time was fine but disappointed by this meal unfortunately.

Ordered over 2 hours ago still no food and the app says it’s been “delivered” - furthermore no phone number to be found anywhere, shocking.

The kolokythokeftedes were very good, the gyros and tzatziki were actual greek style, pretty decent. The skewers though were dry/tough and sinewy and the portions could be more generous. I would not call 2 little skewers and a salad a full portion personally ;)

The driver decided to detour for 20 minutes on the way to my house. So my order is freezing cold. Who wants cold fried cheese? Not me. This also happened last time I order from here. I just wanted to enjoy my meal.

We used to take away quite frequently as there was a promotion via uber eats. The food is great but now it is too expensive so will not coming back unforunately.

Laros has never disappointed however this was not the case on this occasion, unfortunately. Didn’t get my tzatziki sauce, lamb was tastless and hard to chew

Great little place, I highly recommend the gyros box with chicken and honey mustard. It's the perfect size to fill you up, tastes great and is very well priced.

Ordered via deliveroo, 2x missing beers from our food order. Laros Bold Street contact number not taking calls, had to use live chat with deliveroo- in the meantime our food went cold- refund to be processed but unable to speak to Laros themselves. We contacted Laros Mossley Hill who had very good customer services but were unable to help unfortunately.

Been to Laros on Storrsdale Road Liverpool twice, both times the service has been impeccable the staff could not do anymore for us. The food was lovely, big portions you definitely get what you pay for. The second time we went we where treated to desert by the staff which was a lovely touch for ourselves because it shows how much they want to ensure their customers have the best service and best experience.

Souvlaki and gyros were 5 star. Salads were beautiful, but quite bland(just oil based dressing…not any sour whatsoever). Personal preference. But a solid 4 star.

They had offers on uber eats so I ordered £30 odd of food and got £17 off, great right. No!!, delivery never arrived and 15 mins after i put in for a refund and got my money back. Tried to order the same food from the same place 20 mins after the food was supposed to have been delivered and all the offers had miraculously disappeared. Don't bother ordering from this company.

order place at 17:35 arrived 20:15- tried to call restaurant, no answer, when i called again the phone had been switched off. haven't tried food or opened boxes as we had to make alternative arrangements. Very disappointed and will not use again.

Absolutely abysmal. Been twice before and 10 out of 10 each time. Last times 2 skewers of nice chicken, this time a mixture of burnt sweet potatoe fries mixed with rock hard over cooked (was like chicken skin) absolutely revolting and bitterly disappointed with what you have sent me. Just ordered a take away using a £10 discount from Uber. Thank Christ I wasn’t charged the full £17.50 for a gyro box plus bottle beer. Hideous, I choose chicken & pork and couldn’t taste the difference. So so bland. I only could tell the chips from the meat because I know what chips look like Meat (I think), chips, salad and pitta literally just thrown into a box Stay clear of this place if this is their standard. Uber, can I have my £10 discount back?

First ever visit. Everything about this place is great. And you can get a bottle of lovely cold Greek beer as well on a hot day! X

Pork an chicken gyros are that good I ordered them twice in one day, just the right size to fill you an the pork is especially delicious.

First tried ordering from this restaurant 2 months ago, and since then have become regular customers. The food is amazing (possibly the best I've had in Liverpool) it's very clear that the food is fresh and is made with care. When ordering online, the special instructions are always listened to and as of yet I've had no issues with the food. The only issue is I'd order it everyday if I had the money to do so.

Very disappointed. Ordered a wrap with lamb to figure out half way that I paif 8.90 for chips with zaziki and traces of lamb… used to be very good

We did no hesitate coming into Laros to enjoy the lovely gyros! It was the three of of plus five more coming. The customer service was quite disappointing, we were about to order at the till when my boyfriend asked for the key of the toilet -we do understand that on a Saturday night in Bold Street the toilet has to be locked, otherwise it would become in a public one- however, the staff didn't allow my boyfriend to use the toilet - with the eight of us ordering food I do believe that he has the right to use it- Oh well, it is not the end of the world and I suppose that being a popular restaurant doesn't really matter if you loose a couple of customers. I just want to mention that isn't the first time we are there and the customer service provided for the staff at the till is very poor. Unfortunately we will be not coming back and definitely not recommending Laros never again.

Staff were very polite. I had an absolutely amazing gyros, which I've not had in 10 years, and made me really happy, great authentic Greek taste. One of the best street food options in Liverpool.

Second time eating here after an event. Lucky to have the owner there both times. He’s such a passionate owner and clearly cares about each part of the business. He listed all the options and explained how and where all the produce is from. The food was pretty fast and the taste was amazing. Most certainly I will eat here again. My friend is vegan and he also loved his food too. Nice eco friendly packaging with a lovely seating area.

They’re so good that I came onto Google to review them properly and give them the credit they deserve. I have been getting them via UberEats/Deliveroo for a while now and every time it’s a winner. Delivers well, not too cold by the time it gets here, tasty food and good portion sizes! Tried another Greek place just to change it up but just doesn’t compare. If delivery is this good, I HAVE to get in at some point to try it fresh!

Not the best, only desserts (Loukumades) are okay, especially the Nutella ones. That’s why it’s 2 not 1.

We popped in for some λουκουμαδεs after a meal at the Greek restaurant opposite and I felt the need for some real Greek contact and food. Such a lovely team working there - Greek owned and run with friendly Thai and Egyptian supporting staff. The loukoumades were amazing - I chose the variety of Lavender Honey Syrup.

Excellent price for large portions of delicious food

When me and my dad came to this place we were looking for a great lunch in town and we definitely found one. It was amazing food!! , I ended up choosing a gyros in the end which I had on my holiday in Kefalonia and I was hoping to have something as good and I thought it was even better. I really enjoyed this visit and will definitely go again, the meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned amazing plus the salad was nice and fresh. Great place and I will be returning again!!
