We came here last year when we were staying nearby and it was amazing then and again this March. The staff were fantastic, food awesome. One of the best Indian meals we have had. Thanks again.

The food, as always, is of the highest quality- freshly made and full of authentic flavours. The standard of the service has gone from strength to strength since it open; it is attentive and helpful without being intrusive

My partner and I were so delighted with the food and service at Bengal Rose that we went twice in two nights! All the food was excellent - for example, I don't think I've ever enjoyed poppadoms and chutney as much. It was also well-priced at around £35 for mains, starters, and several sides. The staff were very friendly and made us feel really welcome, especially when we went back the second time! We're looking forward to returning and sharing the experience with friends.

Went out for my friend Jeffs birthday. The staff very accommodating and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more I will back. Definitely worth a visit. The team that went above and beyond were jack, alom,mo and boddy truley celebrity service.

My partner and i had a fabulous meal on 16th Feb. Service was quick, waiters were friendly and keen to make sure we were happy with everything. The young man who took our booking even greeted my partner by name having remembered him from our telephone booking earlier in the week. Would thoroughly recommend the Bengal Rose, not a bad thing to say about our experience!

Visited valentines night and wow!! They'd made such an effort.. balloons and balloon arches.. lovely atmosphere.. staff really friendly.. more importantly excellent food with fresh ingredients.. recently moved to the area and tried a few Indian restaurants but this is by far the best.. will definitely be back..

Such a delicious evening at Bengal Rose! We had booked the wrong evening by mistake, but it was no problem for the team. We were shown excellent hospitality and they found us a seat straight away. Absolutely delicious meal and fantastic, attentive service. We went for house specials and had delicious light, fresh food and very generous portions. Best curries we’ve ever had! Would definitely recommend!

We were in Ulverston for my fiancé’s birthday and chose Bengal Rose after reading the reviews. It did not disappoint. The food was amazing (the tarka daal was especially delicious) and the staff were so nice. We will definitely go back next time we’re up here! They even gave my fiancé a lovely box of chocolates for his birthday. This was a Sunday night, Ulverston was very quiet but this restaurant was very busy - always a good sign! Don’t hesitate- book a table!

Went to celebrate a birthday with friends. We were greeted warmly as we entered Bengal Rose, as we always are. The service was excellent, efficient & the staff are always happy to help. The menu has a good choice of dishes & the food is fresh & delicious. I has a chicken shashlick & the chicken just melted in the mouth. All our party enjoyed their meals. To end our evening we were presented with a glass of Prosecco on the house which was a lovely gesture & appreciated. Thank you Bengal Rose.
