The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

It was horrible. The worst and most disgusting Chinese food we've ever had... we ordered vegetable curry and duck, and unfortunately, it wasn't tasty at all. On top of that, my husband was in the restroom, and they asked me in a momentary silence that they wanted to give the table to new guests. We couldn't even order a drink or dessert. At the table next to us, the waitress simply threw the leftovers under the table, along with the cigarettes.

This place has had some questionable reviews in the past but don't let this put you off trying. I don't know whether there has been a change of ownership but I have made this a regular stop. Quick service whether delivery or collection. Their Set Meal Deal is a steal in my books, Yung Chow Fried Rice, Duck in Black Pepper Sauce and Crispy WonTons with Sweet and Sour sauce for a very reasonable price. Sauce is flavourful, meat tender and comes with good variation of vegetables to round out the meal. Last time we went they have Siu Mai on offer, if you're a fan of steamed dumplings these are worth picking up, exactly what you expect from an authentic Siu Mai. The only thing that knocks this place is that you can have a differing experience every time you go, your sauce may be more or less thick and with a slightly different flavour. The vegetables in your meal can be different or the amount of meat. Although never at heavy detriment to the meal it can be detract from the meal.

Absolutely disgusting food will never order anything from them again. NEARLY £40

Everything was perfect it could be made clear that the parmo came with salad and chips. The parmo itself was a regular but it was as big as large ones elsewhere. It was an I am told by my wife, the best she has tasted. I had the traditional curry 5*

Absolutely terrible food!!! 0 stars 🌟 2 orders were wrong. Orderd Singapore rice noodles and was given rice. Mongolian duck was given pork in plumb sauce. Called the restaurant to complain and they said they will send the right dishes they came back and sent the same again. Phoned again to ask for a refund of the 2 dishes in which they was only going to give me £10.00 the Mongolian duck was £11.80 on its own!! They then said they will refund £15.00!!! Which is a joke. Will NEVER EVER order from this place again.

Submitted an order online... waited 1 hour 30 and still had no arrived so called yo find out the duration asked for our address and was told it was being cooked and be another 15 minutes... 30 minutes later still no food so called again and was told the order never came through as a ticket and was telling us we must have ordered elsewhere despite having email confirmation and the money having left the bank... bluesky then found the order on their tablet... just a complete mess 2 hour 30

Great service and vibes, tasty drinks only qualm was the security people at the door could have been a bit friendlier

The service is very good. They are very nice and the best place to have a drink and eat is the best place.

Never gave what I asked for ,veg in everything I asked for plain rice no spring onions in the won ton soup came with and cabbage quite greasy fish

I can’t rate the food as I didn’t wait long enough to collect the order I thought better of it and walked out … the customer area is run down and dirty , uber eats bags left by the door .. floor was dirty as were the windows , also flies in the shop .. the staff also had dirty uniforms on … sorry your standards must be a lot better…honest review you need to look at yourselves and by the way won’t visit again

The little canton is an exceptional restaurant and music venue. I have been here many times this year and won’t stop coming back, food is on top and music events are amazing. They uphold amazing customer service and you’re always made to feel welcome by Torrel and Rafa along with everyone else who works at the little canton. Couldn’t recommend somewhere more.
