Unfortunately this is probably the worst experience I've had from a takeaway, and expecially in relation to customer service. We placed an order for food, myself a vegetarian, and had checked on their website before ordering through Ubereats. The item in question, pancake rolls, stated to be vegetarian on both. Through a glitch with Uber no house number was attached to the order, and we waited 1 hr 45 minutes for it to arrive, having been quoted 40 minutes to an hour originally, and after having chased the takeaway, only to be told that because there was no house number they put the order to the back of the queue, instead of taking a minute to check the address with myself. When the meal did finally arrived, and after taking a couple of bites of the pancake rolls, I was dismayed to discover they contained both meat and shellfish. I phoned the takeaway to let them know the issue with the meal, only to be told that it had been ordered incorrectly and it apparently did not state they were vegetarian. I was also informed that the wait for the meal was 'my problem', and when I asked for money back for the pancake rolls I was informed that my account and address were going to be 'blacklisted'. At no point did the takeaway apologise for anything, and actually blamed me for their mistake. She eventually promised to refund the rolls, a refund which never materialised. As for the rest of the meal, my partners chicken balls were stone cold on arrival, the Singapore noodles lacked any flavour whatsoever, and the black bean sauce tasted literally only of soy sauce. The whole meal was mediocre at best. Fortunately I have no medical issues with shellfish, but I worry that someone with a shellfish allergy could easily have order the rolls that were labelled vegetarian, and could have a severe allergic reaction, and I also worry that other items on the menu are labelled incorrectly on their website or Uber, as they do not seem to take dietary requirements or allergies very seriously. I run a business in the area, and I would never dream of speaking to any of my customers the way I was spoken to last night. The audacity of it has left a very bitter taste, it doesn't take much to apologise especially when you're very clearly at fault, but the lack of empathy and even a modicum of customer service means I will never be ordering from Blue Sky again. If you want an overpriced, underwhelming Chinese takeaway, then look no further. But if you ever have any issues with the order, don't expect them to care or offer any kind of solution or recompense at all.

Always spot on. We have ordered from here many times. Have never had a bad meal. Tonight we made the mistake of ordering but put pick up as the option. We didn’t notice and waited nearly an hour. We got a phone call to say it was ready for pick up. We asked if we could pay the extra for it to be delivered as we had had a glass of wine. It was here with in 15 minutes,still hot and very delicious. This is not the first time staff have gone above and beyond. Highly recommend and thank you.

Also when food was delivered by a romainian guy gave him the money and shut the door but noticed him hoovering around outside my front door (my dog walking boots where outside front door covered in mud) he tried to steal them front my front door!! I confronted him and got them back but will definitely not use them again if he can do that god nos what that do to food when delivering not trustworthy!!

Absolutely awful, disgusting service ruined my son's birthday took the money on uber then had proms with refund £85 order.. 5 mins down the road rang 4 times constant lies , " too much traffic"!!! Continually over an hour and a half late each week. Rang always told the roads are busy I adkec why promise deliver in under an hour. Reply was what you want us do fly over the cars, then was told I can come collect the food meaning after ordering at 6pm at 7:15pm food hadn't even left there!!!! Last time I will be using them. The food was an hour late. After phoning several times chasing it to find out where is was, I found the woman to be rude telling me I was wasting her time. All I wanted is what I had paid for. Once it finally arrived it was cold. I stopped using Blue Sky as I have had this problem before, coming back after a year I was hopeful things had changed but her attitude and customer service really need to be worked on. Its fair to say I shall NOT be using Blue Sky in the future.

On NYD we expected a long wait on a Chinese... however I didn't expect to wait for over 2 hours for it not to be delivered and so went and picked it up. We did get 20% off our bill for having to pick it up - only because I asked for it. The curry sauce, salt and pepper chips and smoked chicken was some of THE BEST my partner and I have had. I had a chow main which was soggy though. Overall, the food was fab however, the service was shocking. Kept calling up and saying oh it'll be an hour, oh it'll be half and hour. At the 2 hour mark we called up and said we want to pick it up and their reply was, we'll cook it now, will be ready in 10mins... it was ready by then but it shows that they hadn't even made it yet despite the promise it would be delivered within time slots.

Used Blue Sky many times before. Normally very good. The takeaway has gone downhill so far that I wished I went elsewhere. Not only was the order 20 minutes later than told, it was also incorrect, and ALL the food was cold. On calling Blue sky I was basically called a liar as they said the dish I ordered, the chow mein was below the crispy beef. And that they do not understand why it is cold. I do not complain lightly and if one thing was wrong i would normally let it go. But when they get argumentative and basically calling me a liar, I find that I need to share my poor experience with others. If I had to give an honest review, I would say go somewhere else.

The food is hot, delivered on time and exactly what I ordered at an extremely competitive price. Come on, folks, this is a Chinese takeaway establishment, not Fortnum and Mason!

Waited over an hour for food which was expected, food came got order wrong as they put all pork over the salt and pepper platter (dont eat pork) rang and told them it was another hour and a half to wait and they literally brought back the prawns and not the whole platter it self as it was covered in pork as I couldn’t eat it. Spent nearly £30 pound on chicken fried rice and 4 prawns. Won’t be ordering again!

Me and a few friends with our children 6 in total had a get together and thought we would order from Blue sky for dinner. Made order over the phone asking for timescales before hand to ensure the children wouldn't be waiting too long for dinner. was told up to an hour for delivery so agreed to this and placed order paying by card over the phone. We waited for the hour and gave the benefit of the doubt as can understand they are busy on a Saturday night after another 30 minutes I called to see where our order was. I was told they are busy and was told 15 more minutes and our order will be out for delivery. Another 30 minutes went by and my friend called to be told that our order has still not been sent out when my friend questioned this she was told that the kitchen was very unorganised and are not necessarily doing orders in the correct order they were placed so obviously angry at this my friend said perhaps they should reorganise the kitchen so it works more efficiently. My friend asked again how long would we be waiting and asked for an honest answer as clearly we were being lied to on the previous calls, we were then told it is out for delivery but the driver had one stop before ours. We were offered £5 off our order as an apology but the lady on the phone soon changed her tone saying as we paid by card they cannot offer any type of refund, my friend probed this and said can't the driver just bring cash if they cannot refund the card we were told no. After going round in circles my friend advised if our order isn't here within another 30 mins we would be calling again then hung up. The order did turn up 30 minutes later and the poor driver you could tell they had had a night of it as they came up to the door they were immediately apologising for the wait times and trying to defend themselves (ofcourse we understand it wasn't anything to do with the driver) so we were understanding towards them. So moral of the story unless you like waiting 2 and a half hours for dinner and being constantly lied to on the phone when chasing up don't order from here! £60 worth of food we ordered but clearly custom isn't appreciated!

After another 30 minutes I phoned to cancel, person on the phone was not happy saying it was on the way! Then offered £5 off the meal. I insisted that we no longer wanted it, it was to late to eat 2 hours since ordering. Thankfully I’d opted to pay cash on delivery so no money lost.

This has been our local takeaway for many years, and although the food could previously be a little bit hit & miss at times - recently they have upped their game significantly. The last 2 takeaways in particular were absolutely delicious, fresh tasting and not greasy in the slightest. Menu highlights include the Malaysian Chow Mein, Super Value Starter for 2 and King Prawn Hong Kong style.

Ordered my food which was delivered, however missing items. Called to tell the restaurant , I explained to the lady on the phone that I had not received all of my order who basically said they had put all of my order in the bag. Well clearly not……. I was then passed on to the ‘manager’. Well I don’t even have a word to explain how rude and unprofessional she was. She insisted that she had put all of my order in the bag and insisted again that there is no way that her delivery driver would have messed with my order. Basically insinuating I am a liar. For 10 minutes she shouted at me down the phone, after explaining that I had young children who were very upset that they had not received there dinner she didn’t even have an ounce of sympathy. After explaining my case several times and having to speak to another co worker I finally got brought the items that were not received. Well let’s just say I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. Never have I ever felt so violated and angered by a manager/owner In my whole life. Please do not give this place custom.

I only order for delivery when out at my friend's. The service is fast, the staff very professional and friendly, including delivery drivers. There is a small delivery fee. They close on Wednesdays. Cash or card but if you pay by card there is a small Admin fee. 👍🏻

My friends daughter was refused service. Her 2 white British friends were served but when she came to order she was told she didn't want any trouble. She is young polite and had saved her pocket money for this treat with friends. She was left very confused and embarrassed by the whole incident. I would like to know why the women working here thought there was any trouble coming to her when she just wanted to order food the same as her 2 friends did. Disgusted to say the least and will not be using blue sky again following this.

Don’t use this place, they refused to serve my 14yr old cousin because of her race. Don’t waste your time or money, food is shockingly dry. It don’t arrive hot, when you have it delivered, missing items or wrong items sent, and when you call to complain that rude woman who thinks it’s ok to shout at you, no longer wants to be as responsive as she is when taking your order. Customer service is DISGUSTING as well as the food.

After waiting 1hour and 40 minutes for my Food, it arrived, I had 1 item missing and the food was also very very disappointing! Dry!! Warm, and my prawn toast was burnt, and chips tasted like they’d been re fried 4 times, I have been going here for many years, and the food was always great, when I called to complain the woman shouted at me like I was a child, then hung up phone on me.

I’m 14 years old and I went into this restaurant tonight with the pocket money I had saved from doing chores and the woman refused to serve me and said ‘she didn’t want any trouble’ ,, I have never been in any trouble at home, school or in public. I can only assume it was because of the colour of my skin or my race because she served my two British white friends with a smile on her face but when it came to me she refused to serve me. I am confused as I wasn’t being loud; I am polite and courteous and I get complemented on it all the time. A customer even came out side and offered to order my food for me as she wouldn’t serve me. I have never felt so upset,ashamed and humiliated in my life. Why???

I ordered chefs special cost 5.90 and only got veg and noodles no meat or sea food what so ever! and it tasted horrid never goin there again! really bad place to go.

Both my husband and son love Chinese food and this takeaway is excellent, all food cooked fresh and lovely selection, staff are very helpful and obliging at all times, food prices are reasonable and the portions are very good.

Went there on recommendations, when arrived was wrong, called them and was more or less called a liar! Ordered all in one beef curry and egg fried rice, PLAIN chow mein, s&p chips.What we actually got was a tub of egg fried rice no curry, chow mein with onions and beansprouts to my mind that's not plain! Also told that the order was not enough for delivery so had to order extra.Will not be using blue sky again. No apologies or replacement meals just " that's what you ordered"!!

We ordered a Chinese for 9 people as soon as it opened at 5pm and was told it would be 45mins before delivery. We chased the order after 1hr 15 mins as it still hadn't arrived and was told our order had just left and will be with us shortly. Another 20 minutes past before it turned up. The food was nice but wasn't very warm. Don't think I will be buying from here again.

I had ordered a take away then they tell me I can’t pay by card only cash I wonder why this is . when the order turned up on my door step ,I took it in doors and when I opened it the order was wrong, so I rung up to complain. The lady was very rude as if it was my fault. If it wasn’t bad enough having to wait 45 minutes... I now go elsewhere where the people are pleasant and not rude....

This is the only Chinese we get food from, food is always hot and tastes really fresh and full of flavour. Have had a delivery from here on a few occasions and has always arrived in good time, and really good portion sizes more than enough to keep everyone happy.
