I think this is the best hotpot you can get in Coventry. Very authentic. Portion is big enough as well.

I recently ate at this buffet restaurant and had a great experience! Meat, seafood or vegetables are available, and their spicy soup base is recommended. The service is also very good, the staff is warm and attentive, timely replenishment of ingredients. The dining environment is clean and tidy, and the atmosphere is very nice. All in all, it's a good choice for a party.

It was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. The waiter explained how to order the items for hotpot and was really helpful. Food tatsted great and we were so full by the end. Would definitely to anyone thinking of try hot pot or other Chinese cuisines.

This is the most authentic Chengdu flavour I could ever get in the UK honestly. The wonderful spicy and salty and fragrant taste immediately sent me back to my hometown. My husband also loves it very much. The many years I stayed in Warwickshire, my Chengdu stomach was saved by their hotpot otherwise I’d be so depressed. The food is fresh too only perhaps the portion is a little small for the price we pay. But anyhow it’s just wonderful. Do order their Sichuan wide noodles for the main and deep fried pork as a snack. Beef trips and duck blood and the frozen tofu are all very good.

We loved Xiong Qi hot pot! The quality of ingredients was really high and the broth was delicious. The staff kindly coached us through elements of the menu we didnt understand. Our only disappointment was the lack of booking system and having to queue for over an hour!

I visited this place with my family for a night out and I was arrived with a unique atmosphere and food that shouted out at me. The colours were vibrant especially the lights by the windows. Our server Leo brought us great service, we had never experienced hot pot before and Leo explained how it worked, recommended some top dishes and looking after us and was attentive to all our needs It was a unique experience to us and a very enjoyable one. Definitely try it out if in the area!

The staff are very friendly and quick to respond, me and my friend really enjoyed this meal. This all-you-can-eat style in Xiongqi is even better than before, while the staff also emphasised "Love Food Hate Waste" which I really appreciate it. Despite the change of style, the food is still very fresh and delicious. I will definitely recommend more friends to come:)!

This is my first time eating here. It feels very good. I highly recommend it👍. There are many types of self-service stir-fry dishes, which are rich in taste and very fresh. The ice noodles are particularly delicious and the base of the sour plum soup is highly recommended for sour plum soup lovers. The self-service hot pot is also delicious. The ingredients are rich in variety and very fresh. The bottom of the pot is very rich and delicious. The brown sugar glutinous rice cake is highly recommended. It is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Our favorite hotpot in the town. Food is always the best! Staffs were helpful and friendly. Now they have the buffet which includes Chinese fried rice, Chinese foods, kimchi, also deserts. Forgot to take a full pic.

It’s delicious. Both the self-service hot pot🍲 and the self-service stir-fry dishes are very fragrant. There are many dishes with all kinds of colors and aromas. The bottom of the pot has a particularly strong taste. The ice powder and brown sugar glutinous rice cakes are both delicious. Highly recommended👍

This is a hot pot restaurant very close to the bus station in Coventry, and the traffic is very convenient. As soon as we entered the store, we were greeted warmly by the staff. The restaurant dishes are very rich, hot pot soup base choice is many. It was an excellent dining experience and I would definitely come back if I had the chance.

It's very delicious, the quality of the dishes is good, and the taste is very authentic. The aroma of the butter pot is so fragrant, and the buffet is more than 20 pounds and you can eat it very fillingly.

Very bad dining experience, not recommended for Chinese or anyone else, first of all, the service attitude of this restaurant is generally very bad, bad for everyone, even worse for Chinese people. The food is not very fresh, there are often bad situations, and when you eat live insects, they will act as if nothing happened and treat customers who ask questions as enemies, extremely rude. I have video evidence of the waiter taking away the food with the insects in it and their owner angrily bringing another plate to replace it, we said no, so the owner left without a word, her face was very angry, and she was extremely disrespectful at the checkout. An authentic restaurant with many dishes very strong in flavour and spicy so ask for less spicy if you can’t handle it so would of given five stars if not for that. It seems it is linked to the restaurant next door. A nice place. Remember it’s cash only.

Superb hot pot with a wide range of choices and decent prices. If you're good with your choices you can get good dinner within £20 per person, which is good for a hot pot restaurant. The food is lovely, the staff are always polite and happy to explain any dishes you may be unfamiliar with. Strong recommendation!

Very nice staff, close to closing on a jammed night but still found room for us and we were surprisingly served very quickly. Noodles were good portions but the dumplings were the best part. Not over breaded like most places. Good spot that was open later while most were closed.

We went for a family lunch on New year’s day and ordered food off the menu rather than hotpot. Staff were friendly, food came fast and delicious. Will be going back again for the potato & aubergine dish.

Nice staff. The food was good overall. However, we ordered no spicy food, it was mildly spicy (-1 ⭐️) but it came fast. We tried many Chinese restaurants but this one was far more better than the others. One more thing to add is, if you would go for that dish which was chicken, please be careful as it is full of small bits of chicken bones.

Came in, said we'd like to have a hotpot and the waiter said that they're cash only. Went to get cash, came back, and another waiter walked us to show the hotpot manual and then said that the kitchen is closed and we should come back in 2 hours. Go to hell

Went first time for dinner as it looked an authentic hotpot place. Ordered the half and half hotpot (Tomato & Spicy) so the family can try both and we were not disappointed, Some good flavour and authentic Sichuan taste. Meat were good portion and well priced, but veg and other small plates are expensive for what you get. So total price is not cheap and we only found out it is cash only at the end. It was lucky we just had enough on us. The service was OK, but they missed our frozen toufu which we had to ask. Then at the check out, with the printed receipt running out of ink and the hurry to find cash, we did not notice until we got home that they overcharged another course of toufu. We only ordered two toufu dishes, so how do they get this wrong - twice?! Forget complaining on their website, no one will get back to you. So overall, food is good, service so-so, price not cheap and experience negative.

A warning - all of the soups include pork broth, including the vegetarian meals!

We arrived without a booking to a very busy evening. The staff were so friendly and managed to find a table for us quite quickly, table was thoroughly cleaned down before we took a seat. Once seated the staff asked if we had been before and went through how things work there with the "hotpot" then continued to explain to us items on the menu. I found this very helpful as I was unsure how some of the items were served. The hotpot and food came out after not too long of a wait and we were both very impressed, the food was presented very well and tasted fantastic! Cost of the complete meal was very reasonable too. We had 3 beers, 2 soft drinks, one of the larger sharer meals on the menu plus a few sides on top and it came to around £80. All in all a great place to visit and will be visiting again. Recommended!

Went here for a meal with the family! It was pretty quiet, 2 tables including us. It was a casual dinner, what you’d expect when you go out for a hot hot. Was disappointed that there was no coconut! Overall a pleasant experience the only thing missing was the atmosphere

The service was horrible. The waiters were so rude. We were waiting for 15 minutes and after 15 minutes they said we are in waiting list for 30 minutes. In the next day, we tried to book via phone but the waiter was just so rude saying we don't need to book then close the call without any help. During our dine in, the waiters were also very rude. The food is okay, but it was not that good. It's just there is no other competitor in Coventry that makes this place crowded.

Our bosses took us here for a work meal & I am glad they did. I have never heard of or tried traditional chinese hot pot. This was great, the food seemed very fresh, good quality and flavourful. It was also a unique and gread dining experience. I wouod encourage anyone to try it and take a group of friends.
