Hunts Cross Supper Bar in Liverpool

I was about to go to McDonalds but was short on time so popped into Hunts Cross Supper Bar and was glad I did, Cheese Qtr Pounder with Proper WELL DONE Chips were cooked to perfection as well as a PROPER CAN OF COKE for just £5.50 ABSOLUTE BARGAIN. Would definitely recommend 👌

Well over a hour for cold food to arrive. Halloumi sour and fish tasteless and way to salty gravy. Five pound delivery. Robbery.

2 hour wait, freezing cold on arrival , usually good from here but tonight it's very poor , no apologies or anything from them

In general lovely food but if you order through there new website they charge you five quid delivery from hunts cross to Speke. Just think that’s a bit steep myself like

Good food, never has a menu to take home. Website doesn’t show full menu either. Last time I went seemed very arsey because I had brought the exact amount of money and all the prices had gone up. Was told to make sure I bring the correct money next time. And to hand in what I owe. About a quid, Bit embarrassing really

I ordered a mixed grill when I got it home I had a carton of chips and peas and then in a plastic container I had the smallest piece of steak and 6 mushrooms and gravy was like water I thought you got bacon liver and sausage and steak I wasn’t 1 bit happy

Came here on Sunday 1st October for food before going airport, nice food and the nicest staff ever , let me and my partner try this huge spring roll thing they make and that was fabulous......come to Blackpool and set up a place her your food is fab and I need to try more 😍😍😍

Crispy duck pancakes and prawn toast were stand outs in a fantastic meal. Very generous portions too

One of the best spots fish and chips delivery. I’ve had delivery fish and chips before and the nature of the food often suffers due to the packaging and the period it’s on its way. However the fish and chips from this establishment is always cracking even when delivered they really have the packaging down to a T meaning you freshly cooked fish is still crispy and not sweaty and oily and same with the chips! Top notch will always recommend this spot if you want fish and chips delivery!

Worse £20 pounds we have ever spent chips discussting fish greasy and the biggest chop suey roll that wasn't a chop suey roll teasted and smelt rank , The disguise massive portion's for bad food it all went in the bin won't ever be going back 😠🤮

Brilliant place for takeaway. Good is great, good value for money and all of the workers have a positive vibe and make you feel like friends. The Greek dishes are phenomenal especially the chicken gyros. If you’re in the hunts cross area definitely check it out.

Ordered fish and chips, fish batter was like cardboard not crunchy at all, looked like warm ups. Cantonese ribs hard too

Huntscross supper bar is by far the Best chip shop in Speke/Halewood/huntscross. Food is always delicious and piping hot. Customer service is second to none. Best place best staff

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hunts Cross , and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Located in the heart of Liverpool, this restaurant truly exceeded my expectations.

Nice enough,.. update Was asked why 3 star Asked for crispy chips and steak pie got normal chips even after waiting ages not crispy... and pie was bit hot but like warm and dry ... lucky I was in good mood I did not give you less..

Another great meal last night, I will not go anywere esle now. Fantastic service staff always friendly and very helpfull if like me you somtimes have a problem with the online ordering, just call them and they will sort it out.

Took a young gentleman who I support here for his lunch. The gentleman behind the till, was very engaging, and very friendly with my client. Food is very nice from here, would fully recommend!

Chips were gorgeous, curry just right not too hot. Was very busy and very clean. Lots of people getting the fish which looked gorgeous. Will definately come again.

Garston swimming club presentation night was expertly catered for by Hunts Cross Supper Bar - 115 fish and chips and 95 sausage and chips expertly cooked , excellent quality delivered hot ! Lots of praise from those who enjoyed them on the night - can’t recommend highly enough . Will definitely be booking them for the same next year ! Thank you to all the team who worked hard for us 👏

Excellent chippy! Came here a few months back on the way to the airport. Phoned ahead to order the salt and pepper box which turned out to be much cheaper and simpler than ordering via the app. When we arrived to collect the chef kindly kept us updated on the status of our order. When it came the quality of the food was brilliant and very well fried. One box was more than enough for the two of us with leftovers for breakfast.

Go here fairly regularly and food is always hot, good quality and delicious with a great selection and choice of meals or appetisers. Never had any issues with food and staff are friendly and always happy to help. Highly recommended this place to anyone.

Been coming here off and on for almost 40 years and has always been consistently good. New owners have continued to live up to the high standards and as a man of my word, after complimenting the great food in person, I thought it only fair to share on here.

The taste of the food was consistent throughout the wide range of menu they offer. I tried pretty much the main things on the menu near their closing time and the food was a solid 4.5/5 and the customer service was 5/5. Would eat here on a regular and would recommend to everyone. They will definitely have what you like !!!!

I've not been here for over 7 years now and I remembered why soon as I opened the bag the chicken gyros looks nothing like any other gyros I've ever seen it looks like something has spewed on my plate I said I little bit if sauce it's swimming in it ruined my dinner won't be going back again 😒

Tried ordering from this place on two different occasions both times orders were accepted then cancelled within 5 mins without explaination.

Friendly staff / Great food and large portions. Mix gyros combo was lovely and very filling. My little boy enjoyed his double cheeseburger and my partner has leftovers as there was so much.
