Forgot stuff off order was trying to say we were lying . They finally sent the food and it was disgusting

The person taking the orders needs a course in customer service. Food lovely.

Possibly the worst salt and pepper box I have ever had in my life. It was absolutely coated in sugar. The salt and pepper dishes used to be absolutely incredible here no idea what's gone wrong.

If 0 stars were an option I would have clicked that. Over an hour to arrive which on its own isn’t bad as it’s a sunday evening so not a big deal. Got the large share box for £20- absolutely stone cold. Called them up to be met with the snottiest women I’ve ever spoken to, I can only assume she’s not been laid in months because her attitude stinks. Then to be told the only way we’d get a refund is if we gave the food back to the driver who will then take it to the shop for them to “inspect” and then they’ll drop the money back off when they have chance. Is this place ran by hamster on a running wheel? Oh also told it’s our own fault it’s cold for getting it delivered and not picking it up 🙃

Food was awful, was like 3 portions of deep fried cardboard. Delivery took over an hour to arrive, when ringing to check where about the food was, I was greeted on the phone by probably the rudest woman I have ever spoken to. Not an ounce of customer service skills, and no intention to help with my question.

i am deeply unsatisfied with my order. This is the fifth time there was hairs on my food cooked within the food an my ribs were pink and squishy and very wet and jelly like.The chicken was very very chewy and that isnt even half of it!

So disappointed tonight with my favourite rainhill take away food was very poor the vermicelli was rubbish salt n pepper ribs normally fantastic were small and greasy we ordered eight meals only two were ok won’t be going back Ime sad to say

The food is great but sadly the woman who works the counter has a face like a smacked backside. She has been extremely rude to me on more than one occasion, and I have witnessed her being rude to people several times. Get rid of her and I'll start going again.

Salt and pepper chips have hardly any chills, peppers and onions. Used frozen chips which tasted like warmups. Lucky I never went back in and asked for a refund.

Food is always unreal, feels like a waste of money if I go anywhere else now because the food from here is so nice !! Never had a bad meal in years of going here, good vegetarian options too.

Love this place, it's not a chippy more of a takeaway, the dishes are lovely, well cooked and full of flavour, worth the extra couple of pence they charge per meal.

My order didn't go through but was paid for the lady on the phone was fantastic sorting it out for me then fast delivery too lovely food fantastic customer service 😀

The food is amazing and arrives hot. Drivers get to deliveries quick. The review that was published is wrong. I fully recommend this place for Chinese dinner.

Having used meis garden at least once a month for the past several years, and had food delivered each time, which we paid and tipped for, the process changed this Saturday night. we were interrogated on the telephone when placing an order and told that we “didn’t live where we said we lived” 🤔 and that we would no longer be getting a delivery- we’d need to collect our order. No explanation. Rude staff that seemingly don’t want my monthly fifty to seventy quid anymore Shame. I’ll now drive past this place to go to one of the many local takeaways that do appreciate my business or buy from one of the many who still deliver Good luck with this business model moving forwards in these times

The best Chinese takeaway I've ever had by miles. Sadly let down by the fact they never answer their god damn phones and always have online orders turned off because they're too busy. Such a good reputation spoiled because they ignore customers and refuse business when they're busy. Puts me off ordering because it's nearly impossible to place an order!!

I wish there was a place like this in Norwich. Great portion sizes, great prices and meal deals and great service. I was absolutely stuffed and that was the small sized portions. Would happily recommend.

My local Chinese. Great food, speedy delivery & always hot. Tasty and filling. Their meal specials are great value, choice of soup, duck or chicken spring rolls, several mains to choose from with either boiled rice, chips, for £9, with fried rice £9.80. Friendly staff in the shop itself.

Another excellent meal tonight. The food from here is restaurant quality. Highly recommend the honey n chilli ribs, the salt n pepper squid rings, the chicken foo Yung and the star of the show.. the crispy chilli beef which is out if this world.

Food is 4 star but they get extra for having tofu dishes for people that don't want to eat animal. Meals are always fresh with good ingredients. Has to be the best Chinese around, if not a tad more expensive.

Comida grasosa, blanda y raciones muy magras. Sin duda, esta comida para llevar debería hacer todo lo posible para recuperar a sus valiosos clientes. . . . y no los rechace con comida pobre. Te sugiero que lo pienses dos veces antes de elegir este lugar. . . . . . estarás extremadamente decepcionado.

Excellent service, had our order delivered (lockdown & self-isolating) - very prompt delivery, top marks. We are a household of Vegans/Vegetarians and the menu choices were great and the food was so good!! Thank you, highly recommend.

Excellent service tonight with superb tasting, hot food. Delivered to my doorstep just 15 minutes after their official opening time after being able to pre order via their website. Will definitely be coming back for more.

Great Chinese take away our local. Friendly staff reasonably priced. Always busy which is a good sign. Doest do proper chippy chips so got to loose a star.

Esta noche Rey Arroz Frito De Gambas. Horrible. Así que fuera de carácter para este restaurante. Gambas Rey Cocidas. Probado rancio y el arroz frito era puro stodge. He tenido mucho mejor de aquí en el pasado.

A pedir la comida desde aquí, permítanme decir ¡nunca más! ! Las verduras estaban bien pasado sus mejores cebollas salpicado de manchas de color marrón, negro, pollo zanahorias girando si se le puede llamar era tan poco hecha y el picante singapur vermicelli, no creo así,,. Muy decepcionante y una familia con hambre

This is the second time I've ordered from here and again the food is excellent. I can't understand the bad review from the person who found prawns in her dish. Maybe if she actually looked what was in the dish when ordering she would have known. Allergy advice is available on the site and if she went in the takeaway, there is a really obvious sign warning of the chance of allergies. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. The staff are polite and friendly. This will be my go to place for Chinese food from now on.

Absolutely lovely place, salt and pepper ribs are just fab, vert meaty and tasty. Other food ive had in there was lovely too.

Wouldn't recommend specially if you have a food allergy. prawns in my dish didn't say, uncooked chips and portion control awful.

Ordered from the dreaded just eat - food was really good :) basic stuff ordered but tasty and big portions. Will definitely be first choice for future orders :)
