Avtar's Golden Fry in Middlesbrough

Fish and chips were extremely greasy, batter on the fish was not crispy at all. I ordered onion rings which were literally floating in greasy and all soggy and all the batter had fallen off. This is the second time that the food has come floating in grease. I will not be ordering again from here.

I ordered a donner parmasan and when it came it was just a normal parmasan

usually good. but tonight it was a sheer disappointment. fish ok fishcake and chips lukewarm at best. but peas and gravy was stone cold. not impressed at all

parmo delivered with a fly baked into the middle of if it had to take it back to shop our self to be told we have to wait 5 days to get our refund from just eat which ment to go order else where we have photo evidence if required full order returned as could not eat it

wrap had at least 30 onions also scallops tasted really sour

absolutely freezing food, the salad box was open and the garlic sauce tub was crushed and all over the bag

Food arrived late. Food did come hot however there put a can of coke in the piping hot food bag which exploded and drenched my food in coke.

Gutted to leave this review as it is my usual go to. Food was initially 25 minutes late, asked just eat to nudge them via the app, they then added 20 more minutes to the delivery time. Madras sauce was watery and tasteless, as if hot water had been added to leftover sauce, no salad came with meal, chicken was dry. Vey Disappointing

Part of the order was missing so had wait to be sent out again so the food what was delivered first was then cold

lots of watery fluids on plate rice was nice curry also nice. labled the nan bread up wrong. put G on plain will be back. for a second chance

Our food come without all 3 sauces to go with food and salad they did drop them off but our food was cold by the time we got what was missing from ordee

Food took 2 hours to come, even after contacting the restaurant via just eat. The food was cold and when I asked if I could have a partial refund for the late delivery I got told the driver was stuck in bad traffic. At 8pm on a Saturday night??? Really disappointed.

Ordered fish and chips tasted ok but it looked like mush the fish was in pieces on top of chips couldn’t put it on a plate separate because it was mingled in the chips really disappointed

Terrible service they don’t answer the phone so you can’t get an update my order was over one 20 minutes late avoid using the delivery when arrived food was cold probaly due too the fact it been out with driver so long

Lovely Parmo. Delivery wasnt the best. Just Eat screen said food delivered and i hadnt received it which resulted in a call to the shop wondering if it had been delivered to the wrong address, was told food still with driver and a few minutes later i got it.

I ordered two bags off chips and was charged £7.00 just for the chips and I got two portions with my fish cake which was not nice and a fish Pattie surely this can not be right

All the food was cold, it had been in the bags that long that all the food was wet £33 for cold soggy food absolute joke and the portion sizes are very small considering what they are charging for them

Originally said 45 minutes for delivery. Arrived an hour and a half later. Fish was cold and soggy. Chips where too. Rest of the order was fine.

Really disappointed with my mixed kebab. Naan bread was hard and tough didnt eat it, chips were ok although some hard pieces, kebab meat was ok, chicken though was the worst part. All of it was hard, dry and tough left nearly all of it didn't, just didnt enjoy it. First time this has happened, put me off ordering again to be fair.

Got lamb balti, lamb was nice and tender right spice level. Will come back in future 👍

Do not order from this place they are a disgrace, ordered the food at 17.30 turned up at 19.45 food turned up freezing cold box soggy and all they had to say was sorry we've been busy.

Don’t think it was value for money wouldent order Indian food from here again

I mistakenly thought this was delivery instead of collection and as soon as the restaurant called me to inform me that they were waiting for me I jumped in car and went to pick it up. The manager was great and prepared my curry as they had closed kitchen down for the night. Unfortunately the meal was a huge disappointment as INSTEAD OF THE PERI PERI CHICKEN WRAP I ordered what I got was AN OVER SALTY CHICKEN CURRY WRAP which totally tasted full of SALT and I had to dispose of it

Have used them for over three years almost every week always been great. Last two weeks food has been late (last week over an hour) and both weeks food was cold. Shame, looks like they have lost a very good customer!

Order arrived over 2 hours after ordering food. Food was that cold needed to be heated up in the microwave. Defo will be going to Mamma's Pizza instead next time.

I ordered food from here I was told it would be within the hour after 65 minutes I rang back the lad I spoke to said it should be with you in an few minutes after another 20 minutes still no food I rang back the shop to be told it had just left the shop 5 minutes ago After 130 minutes the food turned up it was definitely not worth the wait the chips were raw and the chicken tikka had no taste

Very nice fish was lovely but a bit to big but small option was not available other than that was delicious the fish cakes my mam and daughter loved

Ordered delivery took 1 hour 40 minutes to arrive the food was cold paid £22 for parmo burger and fish and chips absolute waste of money complained to owner who said unfortunately he wasn't working that night and he'd speak to staff, usually spend on average £50 a week in this shop and this is the reward for my loyalty

Food is great love it my favourite place to order a parmo from and there is somthing for everyon but their delivery time is shocking i wait about an hour and half everytime i order and its about 5 minutes drive from my house!

Best kebab I've had. Portions are huge and I struggled to eat it. I forgot to add garlic sauce onto my order but I contacted the takeaway and they added it, I just had to pay the extra when food was delivered. Great service, great food.

Hadn't been for a while and now remember y ordered at 6.15 it's now 8.30 and I've rang up and they said there waiting for a driver. Came at 20.48 freezing and all the food was all over bin enjoyed it tho

The chips, battered sausage and kebab are always great. The jalfrezi was very watery and the chicken was super bland and tasteless, it's a shame as it used to be lovely. Garlic naan bread was really nice.
