Great taste as has been for over 39 years but the take away chips had clearly been reheated when I got home three minutes later. Shame for me as I was introducing my partner to her first taste of the place. Still ate it all though :-)

I ordered a special fried rice and a special chow mein and lacked a lot of meat in both dishes then after a few hours both my wife and myself had bad stomachs could only have been this meal as hadn't eaten anything substantial since the day before . Would certainly not recommend.

Great Chinese menu and they serve you very quick with the food that you order. Very tasty sauces and crispy vegetables, but I sometimes have trouble in deciding if the chicken that is battered that I am tasting in my Szechuan chicken choice, or Cantonese sweet & sour is actually chicken in the batter??

Ordered 2 portions of curry sauce and chips which was tasty and edible but the king prawn fried rice was very bland and had no taste but very greasy and the sweet and sour Cantonese style chicken ended up going straight in the bin.

The best curry I've eaten for yrs , the meat is so fresh and juicy ( unlike many others with tough rubber meat) the flavour is what you expect from a curry. My only niggle and this is only me been picky, I love very hot currys and it's not hot , I do ask for extra hot but hit and miss if it is. But this doesn't take away fro. The flavour. Highly recommend the special curry it's the best in the Middlesbrough.

Unsure where some of the other reviews originate from - this is the best Chinese takeaway in Middlesbrough. I especially recommend Mixed Meats Special Curry (this dish also includes King prawns), House Special Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour King Prawns (without batter), and the large vegetable spring rolls.

I have been ordering from Colin Cheng for years and its the best in Teesside by far. The Beef Curry is amazing, the best curry sauce around, the chicken with beansprouts in bbq sauce is also very good indeed. A really good menu, have never had poor food from here - well recommended!!

Quite a disappointing meal. The food was very pricey, in fact it is about a £1 dearer per dish than most better Chinese takeaways in Middlesbrough. Very unfriendly reception by the staff. I ordered sweetcorn and Chicken soup for starter which was very watery and had little taste. My main of special curry lacked any substantial taste. The spare ribs were OK, although had little meat on them. I would have expected more from a reputable takeaway such as this. My total bill including 2 bags of mediocre chips was £22.00 and no free prawn crackers (quite a normal freebie in any other store). Quite expensive in my opinion, considering the food in the all you can eat Chinese restaurants is better and would have cost around £21.00. Sorry but wont be going back.

Crispy Beef is absolutely awesome :-) but the chicken in blackbean sauce was watery and tasteless. Had the 1/4 duck which was great and thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt on the blackbean sauce and have it with shredded beef. Again it was watery and tasteless, very disappointing. Timmy's in Nunthorpe is much better food and cheaper

My wife and I stopped here for a bite to eat on our way home from Newcastle. The food was served very quickly, was nice and hot and full of good quality meat. We were quite satisfied with our food, which we felt was good value for money. This Chinese takeaway is fairly typical of Chinese takeaways and does not really stand out in any way, but the food and service were excellent. If you like Chinese food, I don't think that you would be disappointed with this takeaway. The business only takes cash so we had to visit the cash machine at the bank close by.

Worst Chinese I have ever ordered, the only take away I’ve put straight in the bin. Salt and pepper chicken wasn’t sealed it was in a half opened paper/card container, and was actually cold, it was just plain cold chicken and black onions. No hot bag from the driver, wrong can delivered, hard cold rice. Never again.

We visited W2 World Buffet Restaurant on a Wednesday evening, and our experience had both highs and lows. Starting on a positive note, the staff were professional and polite, greeting us warmly and promptly showing us to our seats with drinks already prepared. The service throughout the evening was attentive and friendly. The main draw of W2 World Buffet is its vast selection of food, offering a wide variety of cuisines from Chinese and Indian to other global favorites. It’s an impressive lineup for anyone who loves having options. However, as is sometimes the case with “all you can eat” establishments, quantity seemed to take precedence over quality. While it was great to have so many dishes to choose from, many of the items felt lackluster, lacking the vibrant flavors and freshness that make these cuisines shine. The dessert section was also a bit underwhelming. One large cake appeared to have been ravaged, looking far from appetizing, and the mint ice cream had an unfortunate, overpowering flavor reminiscent of toothpaste. It was clear that desserts were more about quantity than quality. All things considered, W2 World Buffet is decent for the price, especially if you’re looking for a casual night out with an array of options to explore. But if you’re expecting top-notch quality, you may be left disappointed. It’s an alright spot for satisfying a variety of cravings but definitely not a fantastic dining experience.

Love this place, but they changed the menu. It's so oily now, my stomach hates me after my meal. You don't get anywhere near as much in hot pots anymore and it is as I said oily, very oily. I really hope they go back to the old menu, it was delicious.
