Food is great but delivery takes too long ordered 1 hour ago and they said another 20 minutes. Terrible service overall

Ordered house curry. X3 prawns.x3 chicken.x1 beef. Loafs of onions and curry sauce. Won't be going back. Called them back to let them know. Only for them to blame the chief.

Ordered on just east first time using them. Order arrived over an hour late. Food was all cold. And they refused to give any refund for being late delivering and for cold food avoid at all costs complany do not care about customer satisfaction nor do they care about issues. Like I said avoid at all cost

Usually stick with same takeaway until find a better one. This by far exceeds meals I've had from other places. Service is fast and friendly, the food containers are full to the top with ingredients and sauce and meat dishes have loads of chunks of meat in them. My go to Chinese takeaway. GONG HEY FAT CHOY.

Ordered for delivery, chicken, egg friend rice and curry sauce is disgusting🤢 The food was a complete waste of money, very expensive and not worth it at all😡 Will never be ordering from here again.

Rude as hell! I asked for a lunch meal on their menu and they refused. It was cheaper than a night meal. I asked for the sweet and sour sauce to be separated from the chicken and they refused again! Avoid!!! There were no time restrictions on the menu.

Food was okay. Was expensive and probably not worth it but can’t deny the portions sizes for the price. Spent 30 and got rice. Noodles. Curry. Gravy. Chicken balls. Prawn toast and prawn crackers. Average but nothing special. Sent free spring rolls tho.

Ordered food via just eat. £33 for 2 adults. On receiving meal a few items didn’t seem quite as described . Salt n pepper chips seemed to be missing salt and pepper. 2 x special dishes only had 3 prawns between them. Food was bland, rice was dry, noodles were sticky. I did call the restaurant to advise the order wasn’t as described… staff couldn’t be more unhelpful. We have used this restaurant a few times before and never made to feel more disappointed. Customer service doesn’t exist. So if you want a good value for your money Chinese takeaway I’d suggest you go elsewhere. We certainly will be.

Vet expensivel (jumping on the cost of living crisis/scam) food was only just ok nothing special, quite plain and quite boring. £8.70 for chicken curry and fried rice! That must be £7.00 profit. It may be time to learn to cook Chinese meals; I sooooooooo miss the belle vue chop suey house!! Come back George and family. My tastebuds log for your dad’s superb curry!

I ordered a takeaway at 6.25pm, rang at 7.30pm when it wasn't here to be told 15-20 mins. Rang back after another 30 minutes to which I was sent to answer phone each time. Rang off my partners phone and they answered straight away. Not impressed with them diverting calls to answer phone from my phone. Will definitely give this place a miss from now on. Doubt my order will turn up now, £30 down and no food. AVOID UNLESS YOU COLLECT. in sure if it was cash it would have arrived!!!

(Photo 1 - crispy sea weed with a hair) (Photo 2 - crispy (soggy) shredded beef) Terrible Chinese, away working up north for 7 days and fancied a Chinese one evening, in my crispy sea weed there was a long black curly hair. Disgusting! Also the CRISPY shredded beef was horrific, at most places it is CRISPY but at this place it was just soggy and drowned in liquid, they just looked like battered maggots to be perfectly honest with you. Not enjoyable at all, couldn’t even eat the rest of my food. The duck spring rolls were okay, but again. Soggy.

Great Chinese. Food is tasty, fresh and cooked quickly. Update: This is our regular Chinese takeaway, they are consistently amazing. Really good food, service with a smile and great choice. Our usual is simple, a prawn egg Foo young, house special fried rice, chips and gravy. (The gravy is superb!)

Amazing service... less than 30 minutes from ordering to delivery. Ordered 2 special chowmeins and salt and pepper ribs, got extra chillies on one chowmein and it was lovely. Well done Wok King 🤴

On the plus, they are about the only Chinese open during lockdown... However, the food was TERRIBLE! HoiSin that tasted rancid with veg mush and pork tough as boots. Duck in Plum that was basically duck in slimy tasteless goo. £8 squid that was overcooked rubber in a burned Batter. And Pak Bo Chicken that was bland and unappetising. An hour after we finished picking at our meal we are all feeling sick, just because it’s the only place open should be no damn incentive to put up with food this awful.

Food was shocking bbq spare ribs were in a thick jelly like constancy sauce noodles were thick in gravy which I don’t mind but yet again was constancy of jelly again and beef in green peppers the beef it’s self was so cheap like a really bad cheap cut and chewy prawn crackers were soft had to bin the full meal as it was disgusting what a waste of £18.85

If I could I would give this place 0 stars. Ordered a takeaway from just eat and ordered the hot and sour soup which under says ‘suitable for vegetarians’. After a few mouthfuls I realised the soup had chicken and possibly another meat in it which made me feel instantly sick! I rang Wok King and explained the situation, the boy on the phone looked on Just Eat and agreed it did say it was suitable for vegetarians. He said he would send another soup out but his boss wouldn’t let him!! I got no apology or anything but could her the boys boss shouting and screaming at him about it. Would never EVER order from here again!!

Singapore style rice suppose to be hot and spicy as states on the menu absolutely taste less tasted like you had a spoonful of salt in your mouth, mushroom egg fu was grey in colour and tasted of salt. Rang to complain and didn't seem bothered wouldn't let you get a word in as they over talked me on the phone. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN! Lucky they got the one star because food was disgusting.

Chinese food is our favourite take away. We have discovered Wok King in Belmont, Harow over a year ago and have used them ever since. We are very fussy about our Chinese Take Away and have been let down in the past by so many pretenders. This is the REAL DEAL! I have to write today following our most enjoyable meal yet: Chicken in Yellow Bean Sauce with Cashews, Crispy Beef, Vegetable Singapore Fried Rice and Broccoli in Black Bean sauce. (Enough for 1.5 portions for 2 people) It was STUNNING. PERFECTION. HEAVENLY (I could go on) If your not sure and don't believe that a simple take away shop could supply such an amazing standard give them a try. You'll never go back. We are so lucky that we only live a few streets away, so the delivery time is normally within 20 mins?! I know! Bonkers right!?

First of all the food is always tasty and cooked lovely.. It's one of my favourite Chinese. And the duck is a specially nice probably why I keep going back.. Now the negatives!! I hate bleating on at what places get wrong but sadly on so many occasions our order is messed up and things are left out and on one occasion our entire order was missed. I now go and collect and check it while I'm there. Also when they have messed up the order they don't seem very apologetic which I find very poor.. I hope they read this review and sort themselves out because they could be great otherwise.

So I went to this Chinese which is local to me and the meal I always get is Special curry with half egg fried rice and half chips. This time I go in and the normal lady is not there in her place was this rude & obnoxious lady. So I ask for my usual obviously detailing what my order is and her response is we do not do half egg fried rice half chips. I said you have done it in the past again she shouted no we don't so I say OK I will ask my partner because the meal was for her. And the woman behind counter said hurry up we close soon in a rude Manor. I personally will never eat from there again because to put some fried rice and chips together in same tray instead of a portion of each (which most got wasted) is in no way an unreasonable request. RUDE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE BUSINESS. TO BE NICE AND POLITE COSTS NOTHING LEARN SOME MANNERS.

We do like Wok Kings food but it goes from worse to worse for wrong order and late delivery and not keeping eye on orders coming through on the machine. Yet again have family over and its wrong!!! Phone up well can we send it next time???? No we're eating now well will be 45 mins. To add to it a long hair in the chicken fried rice and I had a chip of paint in my chow mein. Can't count how many times had to ring to ask for rest of our order or where the food is. Its a shame really they could be good.

Top notch Chinese, well worth the wait, a really good variety on the menu and everything was tasty and hot. I could easily eat here more than once a week.

We ordered a takeaway via the JustEat app for delivery which was originally supposed to be approx 9pm. I checked the app to confirm the time and it changed to 9:30pm which wasn't a problem. 9:30pm came and passed as did 9:45pm. I then rang up and asked about our order and was told they were very busy and it would be about 20mins. Our order finally arrived at 10:30pm. We were a tad disappointed that we had to wait an hour extra but the food was tasty. We will use Wok King again but we will collect our order next time.

Quick delivery spare ribs absolutely cooked to perfection no problems at all. Think I've found me a spot on Chinese if sunflower doesn't open again

Thai curry was watery and bland

ordered a take away at 6-15 pm after two phone calls to see why we hadn't received the meal at 7-55pm said it was on its way I ordered chicken in plum sauce it was awful can`t even identify the sauce food was luke warm. got the feeling they had forgotten our order the chicken tasted like it had been cooked twice so dry like chewing on match sticks. if they had informed me it was going to take so long i would of driven over and picked it up myself this take away used to be so good not any more yuk.

After an hour of waiting i called them to see where it was and they said it had been sent out with the driver, then i called back an hour later and there was no answer, half an hour later they call back and say they are in the carpark, so i ran outside to check and he proceeds to tell me they dont have a delivery driver and they would bring it tomorrow night! I had already payed for this takeaway by card and explained that i was hungry now and tomorrow evening isnt good enough obviously, i said i would like my money back and he was abrubt to hang up!!! Worst service ever, he was rude and i will not be ordering from here again

Usually order from here and have no problems, tonight order was 35 minutes late and driver constantly hammered on the door until we opened it. No free small bag of prawn crackers either and sweet and sour chicken was very vinegary! Disappointing experience from what is usually a spot on take away!

Fast delivery time but food was tasteless

Spring rolls all burnt and squashed flat, we ordered a large curry sauce and got a large gravy ??? The chips tasted like they had been re-heated, fried rice was dry and rubbery, very very poor and we didn't eat anymore after our initial tasting, it was binned... Horrible, we will not be using Wok-King again, I'd try somewhere else if I was you 👎👎👎👎

Food turned up on time however half of the order was missing. Driver made us pay for the order and said we had to contact the takeaway and wouldn't take the food back as we had opened the bag to look in. Rang takeaway who tried to say they would credit it for next time, but we wanted the food now which is why we ordered it!? Said the other half of the order would be out on the next delivery however an hour later the food had still not arrived. Called the takeaway who said the second driver could not find the house! 2 and a half hours after our original order the second half of our food arrived. Beyond disappointed as love the food from this place. Will not be ordering again. They did not offer any refund or compensation.

Over 2 hours wait after ordering, called twice to see if it was still coming, said it was with the driver, but the driver had clocked off and forgot to deliver to us, still had to pay when it finally came, got no apology from the driver. food was cold and soggy as it had obviously been sat in the car for all that time. Had to throw it out. May as well have thrown £20 in the bin.

We get ours delivered and used to be good but the past 3 times every order has been wrong. Will not be using again for quite a while. Not impressed the last time we rang to complain the lady on the phone was rude.

Food excellent as usual, think I was given Thai chicken curry instead of regular chicken curry as it was very spicy!!

The Chicken battered balls were either frozen still or not fully fully cooked, the noodles tasted burnt! But other than that, the food was good.

Had to wait nearly 2 hours for my delivery even though the estimated time was 1 hour... Food was ok but nothing special, it was slightly cold by the time it arrived :/. The girl on the other end of the phone was fine though.

Food that was received was very good, only problem was that the order was not correct. Bolied rice missing from one meal and only 4 prawn toast received instead of 6. Hopefully it's a one off and it won't stop me using the takeaway, but if there is a reoccurrence then I will look elsewhere.

Arrived 20mins later so total delivery time was almost an hour and a half. Delivery driver does not come to your door, instead rings from the car that you have to go out and find. Dreadful experience, will be going elsewhere.

When it says free prawn crackers and I have already ordered a bag of them I expect 2 bags of them. I clearly stated it in the order

I would like to have the same experience as most people here so will definitely be back. My food was average, well -- nothing to complain about, but a bit tasteless, but that is a very specific issue. Different persons may have different impressions and I am not an expert – can only compare to similar establishments, so three starts here, hopefully will be more next time with a different meal. Staff was very polite and efficient, the order brought very quickly. Will be back.
