Absolutely fantastic food was hot, plenty of meat on ribs and an amazing selection everything was delicious and amazing portions

Vile don’t even waste your money guys, the chow mein the worst noodles I’ve ever tasted in my entire life, prawn crackers had funny taste, special friend rice well over cooked the prawn was like a bullet it bounced back out my mouth after trying to chew. Such a shame as months ago this was a nice place . Waste of nearly 40 quid but we live and learn

Lovely food but there never open anymore every time ya call its we are closed till next week then its opened for 2 days then same again

Ordered a few times and always enjoyed but this time it was inedible due to the crazy amount of salt. Brought this to the attention of the shop and asked for a refund for said items but was just fobbed off with “people have different tastes” yes you are correct and I like to taste food not a cardiac arrest. Wont use again due to response and the inability to reasonably season food.

Lovely big portions in really good time

The chow meins were too heavy on the soy sauce and lacked vegetables. Chips were cold and starchy. Chicken & sweetcorn soup was too salty. Food arrived ~20 minutes after I phoned to complain that the food was already 10 minutes late even though the shop is less than 2 miles away.

Delivery was late, crispy shredded beef was so soggy. I rang to see where it was 50 minutes before it arrived and it was ready but waiting for a driver. Disappointed it took so long and ruined the food

Asked for no onions in any dish and delivered perfectly! Only small criticism is no longer free prawn crackers or spring rolls

I dont normally leave bad reviews but im fuming. 3 times in a row theyve got the order wrong and the last time we tried to order anything they called us 1 hour and 45 minutes after we placed the order they called us to say they couldnt provide what we ordered. I tried to speak to someone in charge because i didnt want to be angry at the person who was on the phone but i got told they couldnt speak english which is an outright lie. They told us they tried source ingredients but couldnt which is another lie because they are literally opposite tesco who has everything they need. When i tried to change my order to accommodate their incompetence they couldnt even get that right. Order from someone who knows what they are doing and hasan ounce of custoner service skills. Run by people who have no respect for their customers at all

Absolutely amazing, can never fault Red Lantern. The small box meal was absolutely perfect, great selection, all freshly cooked. Beef chow mein was incredible. I never leave reviews but this place definitely deserves it! Will only ever order from here from now on!

Another amazing meal. I've never had a bad 1 from here. I tell people it's the best chinese in the boro. Plz try the house special chow mein Singapore style. The meat and prawns are gorgeous especially the pork it melts in your mouth not like other chineses we're the pork is really fatty.

Spent over £70 and the food was awful. Hsd to call up the restaurant as had missing ltems. They said they could refund us for the missing items or send them out, but they would be ages due to being busy... Sorry but thats their fault. We want what we paid for. Took ages to get re delivered. Worst experience ever and most of the food went in the bin...STAY WELL CLEAR.

Food was awful salt n pepper ribs where just ribs no taste at all covered in a tray of onions beef and black bean sauce was bland no taste beef was rotten only the prawn crackers that was nice

Thai yellow mushroom curry - traditionally has potatoes, non in this but did have pineapple ? more like Chinese curry than Thai. Roast chicken chips gravy - sliced fried chicken + onion + mushroom gravy - very nice

1st time ordering here, as i Never leave a feed back on food but this was one best Chinese I've ever eating couldn't falut anything really good food definitely be back againn 100%

Would usually say its the best around until tonight, i put a online order on, they cancled it 10 mins later so we called up and were told it was fine we will still get it, then 30 minutes later got a call to say we can only have it if we pay cash on delivery, so now we have no food, £30 down for 5 day while we wait for our refund and a extremely hangry attitude

Yummy food delivered in good time - we had selected asap and it arrived 20 mins early. Good sized portions of delicious food!

Chips where not edible, curry sauce was more like a lump of curry, the garlic and chilli dish just was not nice and unlike any I've had elsewhere, I will not be coming back

Chips were triple fried and inedible The rest was lovely Overpriced though!

I will always recommend the fried rice, plain thin noodles, chips with curry sauce combo meal. Super cheap and super delicious 👌

Horrible. Chips were shrivelled and bag soaked in grease. Egg fu young swimming in water ish stuff. Curry tasteless and delivery driver looked like he was on something his eyes were huge and mumbled something.

This place gave me food poisoning.......100 % do not use!!!!! I only ate the meal from here nothing else is tasted wrong and 6 hours later I'm projectile vomiting..... avoid like the plague!!

Lovely food and the only chinese we will go to, only let down is the delivery time was pushed back and took over an hour and a half to come, but it is a Saturday night so assume they're busy. Food was hot on arrival and delicious as always.

Ordered at 5.30pm didn’t arrive till 7.30pm arrival time was between 6.25-6.45pm, rang the restaurant at 6.45pm to be told it had just left, rang back 7.15pm to be told they would ring the driver and call me back, they called back and said the driver was 2 minutes away, I asked if it had actually been out for 30 mins as I wouldn’t want the food it would be cold, they said it would be hot, Food come at 7.25pm Luke warm and dry, so disappointed as it’s normally lovely

Always go for box a or box b tried the full monty of box c tonight topped all was amazing pregnancy craving of salt and pepper was satisfied love the chef here since the first time trying will never ever change keep up the great work guys and not forgetting the delivery drivers both are so kind and polite

Ordered the set menu for 2 B. You get a massive amount of food, more than enough for two meals each really - lots of leftovers. The food is very tasty too, every bit if it.

Great delivery time, Sadly though the food wasn't great, didn't really eat much of it. I'm sure other things are great on the menu but the Singapore rice and Salt and pepper house special were really not that edible.

Got the meal for one and ordered crispy chicken king po which was amazing. Wontons, prawn toast and spring rolls were very tasty. Soup was delicious. Will order again.

Chilli hot House special set meal Thought I'd try it out working in the area decent value and enjoyed it prawn toast, mini spring rolls, sweet and sour dip, chicken and sweetcorn soup fried rice with the main not that spicy but tasty mixed meat with red and green peppers, onions, bamboo shoots. Friendly staff better than average a solid 4 stars from me!
