Bastante decepcionadas, atención al cliente malísima, muy asquerosos. Estuvimos esperando un plato una hora y nos dijeron que se había acabado, y luego llegaron con el plato cuando ya nos habían traído la cuenta, también se equivocaron con las salsas del hot pot. Nos cobraron £3.50 más por servicio .

Hot Pot was a first for me. We tried the spicy beef tallow red oil pot, let me say that even if you choose the less spicy option, this is not for the faint of heart. Luckily the waiter warned us (not enough, but he did) and we choose a mix of this and mushroom stock. Overall, it was not bad, but found this expensive for what we ate. Maybe hot pots are not for me...

Je déconseille, je m’y suis rendu avec des amis et j’ai été déçu. Le patron ne comprend rien même en parlant anglais, après le repas mon ventre a commencé à parler chinois avant de lâcher 2 avalanches dans les toilettes du flight club parce que quand tu commandes le niveau spicy « normal » les frérots te mettent des échantillons de volcans dans le bouillon, et pour te finir au sol ils t’envoient l’addition d’un resto 3 étoiles alors que tu viens de manger des lamelles de viandes trempées. Conclusion j’ai hypothéqué ma baraque et découvert un nouveau gaz mortel sorti tout droit de mon baltrou, bonne expérience ceci dit.

Si j’avais pu mettre zéro, j’aurais mis zéro, la nourriture est extrêmement bonne, mais le service est déplorable, aucune politesse, on nous jette la carte comme si on était des chiens. Franchement, je recommande absolument pas.

The restaurant doesn't look like much but the experience is top notch. The opportunity to try the melted Chinese “hot pot” but much more varied than what you find in France…. you're lost at first but the waiter advises you very well... you choose your "pot" hot container in 3 compartments to cook meat, seafood and vegetables and then a huge choice of raw foods to cook. Be careful, the establishment closes early (well for us Latin people) and by coming early you will be able to taste several portions…

Super good hotpot restaurant in China town! We love spicy beef tallow red oil pot with extra hot! You can choose mixed pot as well! Bamboo fungus with prawn mash is one of my favorites!

Defo will visit again! Lots of choices for hotpot including spicy beef, pork bone, mushroom, tomato. They also have dim sum, Dan Dan noodles and other street food. The chief is from Sichuan, China. Very nice and traditional Chinese food in Chinatown! Highly recommended

I didn't have a good experience at this hot pot place. The broth was tasteless. The meat didn't taste fresh. The place was a bit dirty. The dishes and the sauce station were very dirty. We fell rushed there. On multiple occasions, the server was waiting for us to finish putting ingredients in the hot pot, and once he ever asked if we were going to put the meat in soon. It was quite overpriced for quality and experience. I can't recommend this place.

It’s such a blessing to have hot pot in London! We ordered three types of broth: tomato, bone broth, and mild spicy. Vegetables cooked in the bone broth were absolutely delicious. The shrimp paste was a bit fishy, so it might taste better in the tomato or spicy broth. We were lucky to catch a discount promotion—50% off! The total for two people was around £80.

I went to Chinatown intending to have some hotpot, so I chose Shu Xiang Ge. After the dishes started coming out, I first took a bite of the fried rice. When I was about to scoop up a second bite with my spoon, I found a short hair in the rice, and it was even slightly curled. As soon as I discovered the first hair, I immediately told the server. Their response was quite quick—they took my bowl of fried rice away as soon as they heard about the hair, so I didn’t even have time to take a photo as evidence. Then came the second hair, which was even worse. It came out of the hotpot broth—a long strand of female hair, all tangled up. The server came and replaced the broth, and they also replenished the ingredients that had already been put into the pot. The two hairs were found within five minutes of each other, and by that point, I had already lost most of my appetite. However, since the staff’s attitude was acceptable, I decided to continue eating. But even so, the server never came to refill the soup for the rest of the meal. Also, the beef slices I ordered this afternoon were falling apart into small pieces once cooked. I have no idea what kind of meat they were using, and I didn’t dare ask. The overall experience was terrible. I’ve been there twice before, and my impressions were pretty good both times. This time, though, it was a complete disappointment.

Went there for hotpot when they had a promotion last week. The food was not bad. Service was good enough. The restaurant was tidy and clean. Have to be honest, I am not sure if I would go there when they don’t have promotions. But in general, I did enjoy the hotpot.

That was the best hot pot we've ever had, However, it was also the first hot pot we ever had. You have to afford it once, It's not cheap. When asked how hot “normal” is, I chose “not very spicy”. For me, even though I actually like spicier food, that was at the upper tolerable limit. It was so well chosen. The tables are a bit small for all the accessories. I would go again 👍🏻

They are soft and chewy, and it feels like the buns have been sublimated. I went with my friends to this Hot Pot. We really like it. When the spicy red broth arrived at our table, the aroma hit me instantly—warm, fragrant, and full of flavour. Shuxiangge is my go-to for authentic Sichuan hotpot in London, especially in winter! Their upgraded menu is a steal—£50 for two, £100 for four. The beef tallow broth is rich, and the bone soup is so comforting. Favorites? Fresh lamb slices, red sugar glutinous rice cakes, and spicy tripe. Plus, the new DIY condiment station is super handy. All this for just £30 per person—don’t miss it!

We went here to have a small meal, we decided after looking at the menu not to have hotspot but the noodles on hr menu, the staff were very aggressive, then we waited for 29mim for our food, only for our 30£ food to be over salted noodles cover Ed in chili oil and in tiny portions. After reading one or two very negative comments, I wanted to share our experience with my son (27 years old) and me. We walked through the doors of this little restaurant in Chinatown without having read these reviews, fortunately... Very pleasant waiters, quick to take our order, try to advise us and explain the menu... Despite the Asian accent mixed with English that we are far from mastering 😂 we trusted the waiter. Asian fondue made from 2 or 3 different broths in which the chosen ingredients must cook, the spiciest one is really mouth-watering 🥵 it was very good, we were at the table next to the cash register, yes they were there watching if we didn't miss anything, to show us how to cook certain things, maybe they didn't care about our lack of culture but whatever 😜 their attitude was polite, they very kind and respectful, value for money is proportionate, I recommend this simple and good little restaurant 👍

First time trying HotPot and it's quite nice but to try it for the first time in this place is a big NO! I'm giving two starts because of the only nice younger male employee. Overprice even though the quality of food is good but they need to improve their service and friendliness... The service is slow and they forgot a few things ( it happens everywhere) and we nicely asked twice about the rice and the noodles we ordered and they kept saying is coming or do you want to order?. I'm not asian so therefore I might not know how certain asian restaurants work or they supply things, so I asked to the manager for napkins and he aggressively pulled the draw of napkins of the table like he was going to take the entire table away. Plus the cashier ignored us when we asked him if everything was alright with change. No smiles whatsoever in this restaurant. Quite of an hostile environment. Do not recommend it!

Quite simply to flee. The concept of the Hot Pot was not explained to us so we ordered without really knowing what we were getting. We were then placed at the back of the restaurant, where the manager had the wonderful idea of ​​putting on the air conditioning (in November, customers ate in down jackets...). The atmosphere was heavy, particularly because of the waiters who, after we had ordered, walked past us without caring about our situation. We waited 50 minutes for our food (no exaggeration) asking twice if we were going to be served. Finally, we left with very little excuses from the manager. Really lousy experience, but reading the other comments in French, I think I'm not the only one to have had a bad time in this charlatan "restaurant".

As a Brit that lived in china and experienced real Chinese food do not visit this trap. The service was cold cos they wanted to close, I ordered a simple dish, beef and tomato noodles, and received 5 肉片 for those that can't speak Chinese that means 5 slices of frozen cheap cuts of beef normally ordered in large portions for hotpots. Pathetic considering that a pack of around 40 frozen slices of beef costs around £6-8. When I spoke to them in English they tried to speak to my girlfriend in Chinese. When I spoke to them in Chinese explaining that I lived in China previously they realised very quickly that I knew I was being insulted yet they slammed £5 down on my table and didn't even say sorry. Ridiculous service, ridiculous portions.

Terence the manager is the highlight to my experience, he is always so kind and helpful. Although some dishes were quite spicy, the waiters were lovely, they offered us drinks due to the delay of the dishes (which arrived quite quickly though). Tasty and well-balanced food in a very nice street in China Town!

This is one of the best hotpot places in China Town! As the first hotpot place in London, this place is definitely worth your visit! Their food is super fresh and if you love spicy hotpot, you are in the right place!!! I would recommend having fresh fish, beef sirloin, fish balls and their delicious spicy baozi to go with the hotpot! I love this place and will definitely come back for more!!
