No customer service, the woman serving was rude and didn't want to explain what was in the pastry, and the woman at the till told me to 'hurry up already' when I was collecting my change despite me having patiently waited for her to change up the money. The food was thrown into 1 bag so it was squashed and it was delicate pastry. Wouldn't go back. The food was overly oily and nothing special.

I visited that place yesterday and it was terrible. The service was awful, the staff were rude, and they didn't even provide toilet paper without being asked. On top of that, the food was tasteless and overpriced. I strongly do not recommend this place at all.

Pushy staff ,cramped seating ,restaurant isn't clean by restaurant standards ,I myself my 13 Yr old daughter and 10 year old grandchild ate ,my wife chose not to ,all three of us who ate ,were violently sick the following day ,the staff are rude and very abrupt ,pushing you to pay ,you pay before you eat ,so any complaints would not gain you anything ,,in a nut shell ,just avoid the place.

Our experience there was highly disappointing. Dont visit this restarurnat. For £15, I found the food to be lacking in both taste and quality. The staff were rude and unapproachable, which further marred the dining experience. I genuinely believe this restaurant does not meet acceptable standards, and I would rate it a 0 if possible. I have already contacted the council regarding this matter, as I feel this establishment should be reviewed thoroughly. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant, as it is not worth the expense or the poor service.

I don't get why this place is getting such hate, but I came here just by chance and my family and I loved it. It's true that they have little options to eat, but it's great.

Both the treatment and the place are to be forgotten. Bad manners, they yelled at those next door for asking for a table of four to sit with their children and there was plenty. Shabby space, poor hygiene and low quality food, not to mention the waitress who ate in front of us and when finished cleaned her teeth right there.

I went there today on the 20-08-24. I have metal in my food 2 pieces of metal been found in my food. Told the later and she was telling me some next lie it's the other company that does the food and all sort of lie I ask for a refund and she told me I have to leave. Got the refund wouldn't even let me finish my food I want put a complaint about that what's the best way to get these Restaurant to closed down so it doesn't happen to other people imagine a kid would eat that metal. Need help to get this sorted And ready to get the best lawyer to resolved this as I've been basically got kick out for having metal found in my food 🙃

I thought this was only a pastry shop...then when entering, I was intrigued to see food being served I only wanted pastries, and a cup of tea to take away, everything absolutely fine I will return to try the hot Chinese meals. Cash only ! Did return, had a meal £15.00, I would say it was OK, reminiscent of standard Chinese Takeaway Food. Frankly... if you're tight on money and want to gorge yourself to eat... for £15 plus a drink you do it taking into account the prices in other restaurants in the China Town area of ​​London. A Chinese restaurant with an open buffet and a bakery from Fuzuli. British tourists in particular come to take pictures in front of the bakery itself. Wide range of food was available which was nice, staff were kind. On the cheaper side too, but only took cash however. Would recommend though!

For value for money, convenience and tastiness I'd give them 5 stars. Absolutely one of my favourite places to eat in London. The meals were nice and hot, seriously delicious and very good value. I'm always looking forward to the next visit. An authentic Asian dining experience. The staff are great.

No frills, freshly cooked, wide range of dishes. Yes, it’s more a cafe than a restaurant. But at £15 a head, it’s decent, good value food. And they don’t rip you off for drinks. If you want fancy dining then go elsewhere. It’s a winner for me.

If I could rate this restaurant a 0 I would. We only wanted to see what food was available as it wasn't clear in the window. We were then peer pressured to sit and pay cash only immediately. As soon as we paid they stopped hounding us and didn't even give us glasses for our drinks. The establishment was grubby patchy paint work with spots of mould on the ceiling and walls. Why we didn't run out I have not a clue. Service was horrendous, with the place being cleaned down with bleach as if it was a crime scene. We were served with a woman with bleach soaked rubber gloves. Value for money was awful there was about 5 dishes to choose from and if you wasted any food you'd be charged extra. (Luckily we didn't eat much because I was scared of food poisoning). Your possessions were also likely to be stolen and the establishment would not support you if you were robbed in their restaurant. On the plus side a great story to laugh about that we went to the worst restaurant in China Town

Had a buffet here good Friday and I can honestly say it was delicious and the service was good... Plenty of choice and it was very reasonable 🙂

Food was delicious. The waitress was very pushy and wanted us to order as soon as we sat down. Then proceeded to watch us continuously as we tried to enjoy our food. We felt rushed which is why i am leaving an overall 3 stars. However i recommend the food as it was amazing. I would return for the food. The front of house lady was very nice.

I felt uncomfortable eating here, staff staring at you that feels like you have to finish your food fast. I mean there’s a lot of free tables! I would eat fast if I see it’s crowded but it’s clearly not. She was also picking fights with other customers. Food was great though just don’t like the customer service

Plenty of choice in China Town BUT this is our go to place Staff friendly and attentive. The food tasty, fresh and hot not greasy and soggy. They did not charge for my 12 year old son as was not eating they even gave him 2 fortune cookies. They don't screw you with the drinks prices either all round a good experience as always. 😁👍

The food is fine with the cakes and buns with the coconut and sweet sugar bun however staff seem deceptively friendly at first, but as time goes on, the staff reveal their true nature being extemely rude and blunt in treating customers and it seems generally towards a lot of people who just go inside, I dont know their old ways etiquette if you expect super fast payment or whatever, but in the old world style to rush customers to quickly pay even when no one is inside, its just very rude. I felt quite offended on rushing customers out leaving bitter feeling on what was said generally in cantonese. I wont be going back anytime soon here. Avoid!

If I could rate this restaurant 1* I would, but my friend said maybe it was too hursh, and I was feeling off of my emotions, so out of respect to him, I gave it 2*... begrudgingly. This restaurant had very very limited options, and had hardly any options for vegetarian(no vegan options). The main issue was everything felt so micromanage, they only accepted cash, and they was all about money straight away before you was given a plate. you had only one plate whoch they gave you. They had extremely limited food in general, and no chilli oil. They literally had ONE rice, ONE chow main, and all some other bits an bobs. They also would charge you for food wastage which is insane to me, the whole atmosphere just felt strict parenting feeding their children, everyone must speak low, while the adults was talking amongst themselves. DON'T waste your money on poor quality food, and minimum options. Such a waste of money, definitely wasn't worth £15 per head. The only decent thing was that they were 4* hygiene rating.

The worst eat all you can restaurant I’ve ever been. Even a 5 year old was being charged same as adult: we were 14 adults plus the child who is my niece. The way the Curley women with short hair spoke to us was rude. No customer care at all. When I approached the other lady to ask how much is the payment, she said half price the. The other curly lady came and said they have to pay the same but the other lady did not agree and they were arguing I. Front of us. At the end the kind lady won and we were given half the price for child. My eldest daughter could not stand the attitude of the two ladies so she left the restaurrant and just eat in a Thai restaurant. The food was full of oil and salty. The worst they only accept cash? Why cash? Are they trying to avoid the tax? Hope the local government of London have a look on this kind of business. Will not go back there again. Never again!

NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED To begin with, we went in and the Chinese staff didn't trust us, making us pay before aggressively saying put money on the table when after all that they started yelling at us with the drinks, super terrible food, and you can't take the desserts that are there. Cheap buffet with little food, compared to others in the same area, the very aggressive waitress who makes you sit down quickly and charges you instantly, we went in February when it was not nearly full and everything was quite shabby. Been here today with my husband and my friend, we wanted to tried the buffet. Service was poor and they only take cash. You need to pay first before going to the buffet. You only get 1 plate and when you finished your food in that plate you will have to use the same plate again. The lady that guides us was very rude. Customer service was a myth. The old waitress was barking at everyone and I saw her have arguments with two different customers. I'd almost recommend going just to see it and believe. How the hell is this place still going. The restaurant itself looks like it was built using junk from next doors skip.

Its a good flavourful, no frills buffet. Perfect for eating before theatre trips. Nothing fancy but that reflects in price. Cash only! Pay when seated. Leave when stuffed! Still good, try and avoid 12-2 as busy time so you queue to fill your plate!

Extremely dry Chinese and the fried donut churretoso. I kept it in my backpack because if I ate that I was going to end up with indigestion and the next morning I almost found the backpack swimming in my room with all the fat it had released. I should have seen the warning signs and ran! Smell of bleach, cleaning gloves under the arm of the woman giving drinks and being hounded for our money and drinks order before we’d even unzipped our coats and sat down. Truly horrendous customer service - hounded at the start for money and then left alone. Some customers guided to a seat next to us and they decided they didn’t want to commit so left. The server then complained to us about the fact that those customers left. Seriously? I’m here to (try to) enjoy a meal, not comfort your work woes. We ordered our drinks and had to pay up straight away before being given our plates for the attempt at a buffet they were serving. Roughly 12 different options to try. ‘We reserve the right to charge for food wastage.’ What a way to get extra money from all the customers who couldn’t clear their plate as it all tasted the same - rubbish! No receipt given for purchase, no card payment, no service with a smile. We should have left at the start like the others did … will not return!

This Chinese restaurant has a fantastic priced buffet which is piping hot. They seat you quickly, take payment and get you plates so you can get your food quickly. The food is hot and tasty. Huge variety and they replenish the dishes when they are running low.

Kowloon has disappointed me a little on my last visit. We got take out boxes, which later we found out to be more than just a couple of doors up. The food is good if you have kids who don’t want dim sum or anything that is more traditional Chinese food, this is very much UK Chinese food. Staff were a little blunt but the food was tasty for what we got. Would not rush back but would go again if I needed a quick filling meal.

Just went there with my family, we were hoping to eat the all you can eat. We entered and it was ok when they gave us the table. My dad was going to serve his dish and the owner comes to charge us, which I didn't mind, a lot of restaurants charge before you eat. However, they only accepted cash, and we didn't have any. I told her that there was an HSBC right next to it so I could take some cash but she told me that we just had to wait outside, and their manners were the worst. You cannot expect to treat your clients like that and hope that they'll be back. I'm never stepping a foot inside again.

1st time dining here and swore would never come back again. It has the worst customer service and the waiter was even rude when we just asked for a tissue. Place is crowded and they’ll give you small plate that no enough food would fit for a meal and not sensible for a £15.

Only tried the chicken and pork pau from Kowloon restaurant and it was very affordable but I wished they put more meat inside the pau.The meat portion was very small and I was hoping to have boiled egg but there was none unfortunately.But overall I will be back whenever I’m craving for pau.

I went in because I thought I might try some of the bakery items. I went to pay but apparently they only take cash and since I stopped carrying cash in London (most places only take card nowadays) I couldn’t pay for my order. That’s fair enough but the way I was kicked out of the place by staff for not carrying cash made me think perhaps it’s not worth buying from this place in the first place. As a business it is your choice whether you want to accept cash or card but you can simply tell customers “we’re sorry we only accept cash” but the lady was shouting at me and kicking me out although I even told her politely in Chinese that I don’t have cash; I don’t think it was worth her heckling and kicking me out. This experience put me off Chinatown in London completely. Such rude staff.

NO RECOMENDADO!! Para empezar nada más entrar la camarera que nos atendió nos cobró de forma muy agresiva incluso antes de sentarnos a comer y tras haberle dicho que faltaba una persona por llegar. De muy malas formas nos cobró el agua que finalmente pidió este amigo al llegar. La comida es muy limitada, es decir, no existe mucha variedad en los platos, además no estaba buena, los noodles súper secos, los nuggets fríos, la salsa agridulce tenía demasiado vinagre… No te ofrecen cambiar el plato luego del primero y en la mesa te colocan un bowl de plástico para colocar las sobras entre comidas. Yo pedí de beber el ICE LEMON TEA, recomiendo en su lugar pedir agua, porque el sabor de este té es terrible! *Para lo que cuesta es preferible visitar otras opciones que se encuentran alrededor por precios similares*

Para empezar engañan a la vista con un mostrador a la calle llena de postres de los que luego no puedes disfrutar por el importe que pagas, seguidamente veo una desfachatez que un comercio te cobre antes de comer y te redondee el precio porque no tiene cambio. En referencia a la comida..no sabría por dónde empezar, bueno si, por el único plato que tienes para comer todo lo que quieras, ni en el ejército. Ten en cuenta que si el primer plato lleva caldo más te vale relucirlo si no quieres que tu segundo plato sepa a lo mismo. Ellos te ponen un cuenco para verter las sobras encima de tu mesa donde acabas montando un gazpacho importante. Pero eso no es nada, lo mejor de todo es que el pilexil brilla por su ausencia en el comercio, en el primer viaje a por comida advertí a una de las trabajadoras de la presencia de varios PELOS en la comida, en el arroz, en el pollo,etc. Ella se reía y me decía que era de los clientes con una sonrisa pícara que se le borro de la cara en cuanto que le señale a su mano donde tenía otro manojo de 5 ó 6. Al salir del comercio le advertí a la dueña que volvió a reírse y le dije de antemano que reseñaría la experiencia. En fin, risa pasamos, pero hambre también.

Las reseñas no engañan. Son 15£ por comer algo que puedes comer en cualquier otra parte. Comida de dudosa calidad, muy grasienta. Muchísima gente, las camareras gritando, hablando de malas maneras y un largo etcétera por el cual no recomiendo este sitio.

Restaurant fast leer. Nachdem wir gezahlt haben, waren die Verkäuferinnen sofort ungehalten und erlaubten uns nicht, das Gebäck im Geschäft zu essen. Wir mussten sofort das Geschäft verlassen, mit „netten“ Kommentaren der Angestellten. Ebenso war das Gebäck grauenhaft. Man konnte es nicht essen. Es war geschmacklos und hergestellt aus purer Chemie !!!! Eine totale Abzocke!!!!

Previous visitor - returned recently whilst out in London. It’s a proper ‘no frills’ street - food establishment. Cheap meal, basic decor, small tables, fast turnover, fairly basic buffet menu, shouty and busy staff. Doesn’t purport to be anything else - go there with the mindset of just wanting to grab a decent bite to eat at a reasonable price and you won’t go wrong. It’s almost always very busy, and the food tends to be turned over quickly and is fresh. Some nice selections to be had, all fairly standard Chinese cuisine. If you want a nice sit-down meal perhaps go elsewhere. If you want a cheap bit of fast-food you can’t go wrong. This certainly feels more preferable than some of the chain fast-food establishments nearby. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Can’t recommend this place honestly, for £15 I suppose it is okay although I probably won’t be back here again as the food didn’t taste particularly good, didn’t have a lot as was worried I’d get sick from it, very greasy, the sweet and sour sauce wasn’t that nice and the customer service just wasn’t there. Very rude staff. One member of staff sat as at an awkward table in a tight squeeze sharing with someone else. My partner went to get cash as the place is cash only. While he was gone, a table next to us with more space was now free so I asked if I could move. The staff member who sat us initially said fine. When my partner came back and was getting ready to go get his food, another staff member came shouting, asking if we were finished. We said no, we’re literally just about to get food. She looked so irritated at us and asked us to come with her, she didn’t say what for. I thought she meant to go and get food. So I said I’ll stay with the table while my partner go gets his food. She was so impatient then I understood she wanted us to move to an even worse and awkward, uncomfortable table so she could sit a larger party on our table. She could have just asked and explained nicely. Even then, I was already seated there?? Anyway, NEVER going back there again and will tell anyone who asks to not go there either. Food is okay at best and there are better value places nearby.

The amount of negative reviews on this place sort of baffles me. Most refer to unfriendly service staff - but when me and my family came here they were just being efficient - fast talkers and fast seaters for a hectic buffet in Chinatown central - don't come here for a fancy restaurant experience and you'll be happy! The food for us was honestly great! Only £13.50 for the all-you-can-eat buffet and the meat was all good, perfect for a pit stop on a walkabout 👍

When I returned a rude member of staff came over and asked brusquely if we were finished. We explained we had just been sat down. She then asked us to move to another, worse seating area for no reason. When we asked why she ignored the question and told us to move again. We then promptly left. When I told her I wasn’t happy with her customer service she reacted angrily. We will not be coming again, and I would urge anyone else to not go. Very unfriendly restaurant and awful service.

Bon que dire un restaurant oui plutôt une cantine (ta peur tu manges avec des inconnus à ta table (pratique pour les dates)) Bon maintenant il faut parler de la nourriture (😂) de dehors ça a l’air ouf de l’intérieur bah on a bien rigolé c’était pas bon! le seul truc mangeable le riz… Bref pour résumé restez dehors NE MANGEZ PAS ICI!

Food was alright but the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The individual who was in charge was extremely rude barking at staff and customers and just generally being incredibly ignorant. Plenty of other options in Chinatown. Go somewhere else.

Food was quite good but the service was terrible. There seemed to be one lady in charge who was absolutely obnoxious. Barking orders at her staff and treating them like slaves and was extremely rude to a number of customers. It was a buffet service that you had to pay for beforehand and once you’d paid you were no longer of any use to her. I witnessed her attacking one man who pointed out there was a hair in his food. She was generally obnoxious and barking at the customers as if they were an irritation to her. Chinatown has plenty of options. I’d steer well clear of this place.

We bought some moon cakes in the bakery and later also a food box to go next door. Both places accept only cash. Everything was tasty and fresh.

Went there to get buns and cakes. Lot of variety and look fresh. I brought 8 different buns and 2 slice of cakes. They put all in ONE box. By the time I reach home, bun and cake are out of shape.

The food was disgusting the worst chinese buffet I’ve been to the staff were really rude they don’t care about there customers at all. One of the ladys that worked there dropped the tongs on the floor and was about to put them back into the food and my friend was watching her and when another member of staff realised she told her to wait and so god knows what other hygiene standards there not even following behind closed doors.

☠️ Subpar food with a side of FOOD POISONING. Me and my friend went there yesterday and both of us got sick after eating there. 🤮🤢 Don't waste your money, avoid the place, you're never that hungry or tired to end up eating there. Oh, and the other reviews about the staff are true, they are indeed incredibly rude. I don't think this place had anything positive about it. Please avoid.

it’s just a bit rubbish, the selection of food is very small, vegetarian/vegan options fairly awful, the layout of the restaurant is fairly dumb because the entrance to the restaurant is in the same place as where the food is being served so multiple queues get crammed into one small corner, all the food is very oily, like way too much even for this type of cuisine, I was quite hungry, had a couple of plates and was spectacularly ill that night, not the kind of food that wants to process through your body, basically you end up getting so suffocated and overwhelmed by the crowds and random people reaching across your path, that you end up making flustered choices just to get the relief of going back to your seat, naturally in a buffet the trays of food need to be replaced and refreshed every now and then but the staff member doing that does it so often that you spend most of your time queueing up behind them waiting for a dish that was pretty full in the first place to have even more stodgy beige misery piled on top of it, occasionally spilling into the dishes next to it, yes some of the bits of food are tasty, but the broader experience of dining there is so cacophonous and claustrophobic that it’s not worth the hassle, so if you’re standing in the street on google right now, peering in through the window, feeling hungry, I say keep going and have more self-esteem with your dining choices lol

Worst ever experience I've had in a restaurant. Some restaurants are bad but even bad is like a benchmark for this one. Visited Kowloon at night when the temperature was around 23 but it felt more than 32 whilst sitting inside. Moreover, they didn't turn on the AC either (don't understand the use of those 5 ACs). Maybe it was a tactic to make people buy drinks but a very bad idea by making your customers suffer for it. The fried items felt 'too fried' and the fried rice felt like boiled rice with minute pieces of egg in it. Being hungry for almost the whole day, this was the last thing I would have wanted and certainly not even the last place I would visit for a meal, I'd rather be hungry. The staff were okayish and the moment I went there and had the first bite of meal, I thought of rating this restaurant as bad for others to be aware and even be prepared if at all they wish to visit here. I wouldn't visit this place again but if I did, I would really expect them to have more meals options and a better atmosphere.

extremely rude staff. “Only” had a 10£ note to buy pastry, received insults from staff to my face in both English and Chinese. Coming since 2018. I will now be telling all my friends to avoid. What place is cash only in 2023 anyway?
