I have just placed an order an event and was £90 and did not even get prawn crackers these are standard across all Chinese restaurants if I knew they were not going to send then I would have ordered these disappointed and even phoned the restaurants before hand.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Booked here for a birthday and was not disappointed. The team were more than happy to accommodate a cake and assist with anything we requested in regards to food allergies. The sizzling dishes are great and the Sea Bass was cooked to perfection and delivered by the staff with professionally removing the head and spine. Overall, great atmosphere and experience

I was shocked reading some of the reviews as I have been to this restaurant many times. We went the other night and the food was delicious it was hot and tasty and plenty full. The staff are busy but help the best they can. We need to support our local businesses and this place is great.

I have been here over ten times and normally the service and food is decent, but. Unfortunately i went yesterday evening and had the normal “Buffet” menu, First negative is that as we walked through the door the lady shouted across the very quiet restaurant “Table for 3?” Found it a bit rude that you did not walk to the door and show us to a table rather than just pointing to a table. Second negative, this restaurant offers an “All you can eat” menu but they always give you the main menu as tho they don't want you to order from the “all you can eat” menu. Any way; we asked for the “all you can eat” menu as we always do and upon receiving it we are hit with the “rules” you must eat everything before ordering more! Which i thought was portrayed in an extremely rude manner. I just put it down as the waitress being slight in-experienced and carried on with my evening. Third negative. The food was almost cold, the satay chicken came out with no sauce at all! They brought out a separate bowl of sauce! The ribs were the worst scrag ends of meat i have ever had. All in all the food was nowhere near the normal brilliant standard. Fourth negative (the big one) We ordered peking duck for 3 people, as we don't decide the portion size i assumed that the owner would bring out a portion for around 2-3 pancakes per person? In total we had 9 pancakes between 3 people and had enough of the duck at that point. There was only enough duck left for possibly 2-3 more pancakes but we decided to move on to the main course which was only going to be one rice and one main dish between the three of us. As the waitress came over to take away the duck, she said to me (whilst pointing over to the manager) she is not going to be happy with the amount that you have eaten and you wont be able to order any more food!!!! To which i replied “i will need to heat that from the manager” she then went over to the manager and cam back and said “she said its ok” At this point every occupied table in the restaurant was looking over at us and i had to explain that this was the most embarrassed i had ever been in a restaurant and that we all had now lost our appetites. We have eaten here multiple times before and have never had any complaints at all, its such a shame as this place was lovely before but sadly has been ruined by terrible people skills. I must add to this review that we are not big eaters at all and consumed less than the average amount of food for three people. I hope that the manager/owner reads this review and takes action to ensure that this never happens again.

I’ve been taking my family here regularly for years. The food is very good but expensive for what it is and the prices rise £3-£5 every visit. The premises are bright and clean, there are plenty of table staff who are very friendly but having requested tap water it was annoying to find it presented without ice and lukewarm. Beware misleading website info re 10% discount on meals for diners who leave the restaurant by 8pm. This only applies to buffet food orders NOT their ordinary menu. Table servers are very keen to push the £34 all you can eat buffet alternative to menu meals. Considering an average meal with rice is £26 it’s a good option if you can accommodate the food and calories. I’ll stick to ordering takeaways from them in future, 20% cheaper.
