Absolute lovely place staff are nice the food is nice I got egg fried rice chicken balls chicken chow main the egg fried rice was cooked well chicken balls was lovely and hot chicken chow main was lovely I absolutely recommend this place

I love them...Best Chinese takeaway in Milton keynes by far!! Been coming here 20+ years and the food and flavours are the best. They even know me by my first name. Friendly and always busy. My favourite is the crispy shredded beef and the special fried rice is to die for. You can see them cooking too. So much choice freshly cooked. They Never disappoint. 😋😋

The best takeaway Chinese food in Milton Keynes in my whole family's opinion. Love nearly all the dishes but favourites in our house are Ribs in Special Sauce, Chicken chow Mein ( I ask for it spicy), Chicken Balls and Duck in Black Bean Sauce. Totally recommend The Hong Kong to all

Ordered for the first time this evening. Excellent food, fast service, friendly people. Their Roast pork Ho Fun was particularly fine. Phoned in the order, food was ready 10 minutes later.

Absolutely the very best chinese food in Buckinghamshire. The satay chow mein is the greatest chow mein on the planet. Their curry is also incredible 😍

Been using this Chinese for 10+ years. Today for the first time I complained. They said to bring the dish back and couldn’t offer any alternative. I am not going back out mid meal wasting my time and fuel so they can inspect the absolute rubbish they just gave us. Bye Bye Hong Kong. Will not be going back - disgusting behaviour!

Worst Chinese and most expensive have had for years. Special chow mein - think meat was supposed to be chicken but had no flavour, no texture, tasted like the vegetarian stuff u can get - yuk. Special curry also poor. Only good thing was pancake roll - £22 !!!!

This is the best Chinese take out i have had in a very long time, ring your order through it will be ready and waiting for you. Flavours are lovely. Enjoy. If you have a nut allergy tell them and they do everything possible to get you what you want without nuts or nut oil.

Great food and clean environment. Quick and tasty food. Great portions sizes for a reasonable price. Open kitchen allowing costumers to watch the process of the order being made. Fast and quick ordering process, they use technology (pc) to note orders, which the costumers could double check in the same time. Whilst a lot of takeaways are still stuck on using paper to note orders, that makes the whole ordering slower and jams the queue. Very friendly experience with my orders. Not much communication is made as the costumer service is always on a speedy rush, but that is understandable. Very busy on the weekends so I advise to order during the week. Peak times are around 6:30pm to 7:45pm in general from my ordering experience. The special fried rice is my personal favourite ordering along with their sweet n sour chicken balls. The rice is not soggy or too hard, has a right amount of moist, doesn’t fall apart but is not rock hard to eat. The flavouring is very authentic fried rice, enough amount additives (salt and soy sauce )of flavour to boost the natural flavours of meat. Just the perfect takeaway rice in my opinion. The chicken balls are freshly deep fried in oil, the chicken in this takeaway is very tender and fresh and has a good fresh taste, best is the chicken dishes (this reminds me that their Chicken in blackbean sauce is just lush). Then to the sauces, good portions. The Sweet and sour sauce is very appetising served in a right amount for it to not go in waste. Curry sauce is not too spicy but a bit sweet and salty tasty just like the type of Chinese/Japanese curry imagined. They also have a range of sauces that are very nice too. However since last time going it seems that the prices has risen a little. Which is totally understandable due to pandemic and regulations. Recently everything has risen its price (electricity and gas) around England, which perfectly makes sense the takeaway has. Hope this review helps. There’s no reason for me to not continue to order from here. I’m happy with their food, so I’ll definitely go back for more.

Zero customer service!! don't always give you what you ordered and then don't care when you point it out. Especially avoid in busy times .. basically avoid

RACIST staff member and do not recommend... I gave one star but didn't even deserve that. Food was decent like any other Chinese restaurant but the service was appalling and quite almost shocking. Not only was I waiting for my food for nearly 1 hour 30 mins but the disrespect given was what made my experience the worst. The main lady who was serving customers is undeniably racist, she verbally mistreated any customer that was of a black ethnicity or of a south Asian decent which was blatantly obvious after having been sat there for so long. When I asked how long my food was going to take she spoke to me with such disrespect and told me to go wait. As soon as I sat down to wait for my food she called me up within seconds saying my food was ready. Never going here again purely based on the poor treatment given.

I have been using this Chinese for years as I live local it's always been exceptional however today I ordered my usual House Special chow mein which is normally full of meat and veg today it had hardly any meat no king prawns you normally get two and the noodles were dry and greasy . I know it's been tough for businesses this past year but this was awfull I will never go back after 15 years of using them .

In -5 degrees weather they advise 15 minutes for collection, turns out they mean 40 minutes.

First time ordered, definitely not a fan, the food was cold, didn't get the order right. Just tastless, waste of £28. If there is a positive to be told its a cracking detox!

I used to come here years ago and the food was very good then. Been back a couple of times again recently and while it's diffeent it's still very nice. Singapore noodles, chicken curry, chow mein all tasty. Would order from here again and the wait wasn't to bad either.

Very disappointing. I had the beef fried rice and my wife had Singapore vegetable fried rice. The rice was over done and stodgy. The flavor was OK but nothing special. We also ordered vegetables spring rolls and found pork in them which was a big issue for us as we do not eat pork. The pricing was excessive in relation to the quality. We certainly won' t support them again.

Food is brilliant, tasty and portioned perfectly!

We have been using this take away for some years now. It is not our local, but we prefer it so it is the only chinese take away that we use. When we have treated friends to it they have enjoyed it too. I love their salt and chilli ribs, sweet and sour chicken balls, roast duck chow mein and chicken chow mein. The portions are good and we always get chips and satay sauce. It is our go to for comfort food and never fails to disappoint. It is on a parade of shops with a small supermarket too so helpful if you need to buy drinks or desert. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

I've been eating there food for 20 years and love it BUT today was the worse over cooked lunch time food I've ever had, everything that was cooked in oil was not Edible, Chips, staty beef, chicken bulls and crispy beef was so hard a knife wouldn't cut it into 2, and when I phoned to complain was told they would ring back but I had to ring 5 hours later and remind them and was told food was cooked normal! It's not like they don't know me and I'm trying to pull a fast one, I've spent thousands over 20 years and this is the 1st time I've complain and they didn't want to know. Well they have lost me as a customer now 😕 Mr Baker

Crispy duck was superbly done. 6 pancakes with plenty of duck, spring onion, cucumber and sauce. Dishes are always superbly cooked and tasty. Never had a poor meal this century.

Grabbed a chinese the other night from here and we dont usually get takeaway from the Hong Kong but fancied a change! It was lovely, all cooked fresh. We had the mushroom rice, mini veg spring rolls, rice noodles, tofu sweet & sour, salt & pepper chips and a pot of satay sauce. All vegan too! Super tasty, fresh and not oily. I guess it depends what you buy? We enjoyed it, thanks!

Me and my partner order from here all the time and the food is usually nice. Tonight we ordered £35 worth of food. Our prawns were RAW! the chicken balls was dripping with grease and so was the rice. When we called them they basically told us We had to drive all the way back for them to even look at it and they was very rude. Can believe it after I have been going there for nearly 5 years! Defiantly will not be going back!
