The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Just had a great meal with family. The staff were brilliant and very attentive. The food was fabulous ... and we all literally ate all we could!! Well worth the money. Thoroughly recommend!

Whilst I understand this is a family restaurant there are some families that do not know how to act in public. A family located at a table near to us were banging on the tables, shouting drumming with chopsticks constantly and generally did not consider the other people surrounding them. People asked to be moved away from them. We were there for a date, and when my partner politely asked the girl who was drumming to stop she was met with her family shouting she can do what she wants! The lady then came over and shouted over my parter saying she was a bully for asking her daughter to be considerate. She made my partner cry. The staff were informed of this by another patron, however the staff did nothing to stop this family continuing to act like animals. They did not even address the situation with us or try to make it right, and because we were upset we just left. Why should we have to battle with people just to get a bit of respect?!

Local Chinese - consistently excellent.

Quiet for a Saturday night. Staff work very hard .Food was ok lots of courses and seconds were offered on most. There were no deserts available. Free parking at the rear.Lift out of order so recommend you check before book as there are a lot of stairs.

Excellent food great service well worth a visit

We booked for my birthday and it did not disappoint! Fantastic and friendly service from the staff, we were made to feel so welcomed throughout. We ordered lots of tasty starters and everything came out so fast and was hot and fresh, also ordered 1/2 duck which was delicious too. Really impressed and can't believe we hadn't been here before, we will be back! Thank you

Gave me undercooked chiken avoid ! Satay chiken skewars wasnt cooked in the middle

Excellent tasty meals with a reasonable vegetarian choice (better than on their website). Great service and good for children

Lovely Sunday buffet and it's very consistent. Such a wide variety of food, quick service and piping hot. Love it here. Lots of regulars. If you've not been you don't know what your missing!! You can add, change and spice it up. Nothings to much trouble.

First time we went, this restaurant was nice, delivering good food quickly at reasonable prices. So when we went again a few days ago, was rather disappointed. The service was very very slow - waiting an hour from getting there to our first food was excessive. A table of customers next to us walked out due to long waits. The food was mediocre this time. A lot of sauce, not a lot of veggies or meat within it. They delivered some wrong dishes to that ordered as well. I hope they get their act together and return to the quality of food and service they originally had.

Incredible food and excellent friendly service. Have been coming back year after year for a decade for the set menu. It’s a shame it’s not busier.

This place is absolutely disgusting only ordered 2 chicken fried rice 2 curry sauces 1 portion of chips & bag of prawn cracker & it was 35 quid??? The fried rice was so small and the chicken was absolutely vile! Definitely from a tin preserved in jelly 🤢 I’ve never had a Chinese that taste so bad. Needs shutting down how can you charge so much for slop! STAY CLEAR FROM THIS PLACE NOT WORTH £5 for what we ordered! I REALLY HOPE YOU READ THIS REVIEW AND MAKE SERIOUS CHANGES TO YOUR RESTAURANT! Robbing people of money for crap food
