The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Booked up for Sunday lunch whilst on holiday, a lovely well run pub. We started with soup and prawn cocktail, we both had roast beef which came with nearly every veg God made, all cooked perfect, lovely beef as well, roasties were perfect, my wife had cauliflower cheese which i dont like but she said it was outstanding. The service was outstanding, all the young people serving were so helpful and polite, must single out the ginger headed boy ( you know who you are) it was his 2nd shift and i would give him 5 stars just for entertainment. Must mention the lady in charge, i like different beer glasses and asked the young lad if i could have one and the lady brought out a brand new one for me, great customer service, i must add i put a donation in the charity box. Great food, great service, that`s what it`s all about.

Ordered 5 meals yesterday most of the items were overcooked had no seasoning the crackers were sweet the chips were burnt and dry like they were yesterday's. I can honestly say that I haven't had a Chinese like this I didn't even finish my main meal what a shame. The only part of the mill that was okay was the board rice. Stay away waste of money.

Best Chinese food in Gosport by far, we have had takeaways from here for about 3 years and has been consistently great every time. Highly recommended.

If 0 stars was an option, I’d be giving a 0 stars, was told up to a 2 hour wait for our order, after an hour an a half had passed, rang up to get an update to be told, it would be AT LEAST another 2 hour wait. The woman on the phone was very rude, no manners, she wouldn’t know what good customer service is if had smacked her in the face!

Food is so delicious and the portion is good enough. The price is reasonable and not expensive. They are friendly and helpful family base Chinese Takeaway. Worth to try.

Only had takeaway from here, but will definitely be going for a proper sit-down meal. Really, I can not fault anything . Try it, you won't be disappointed

Just had the a set meal from Phoenix Chinese Takeaway in Colchester— and some beef & soup, and pure happiness in a box. Absolute banger! The set meal was belting, beef was tender, the soup was spot on, and every bite reminded me why I keep coming back. They’re like the Jedi Masters of consistency—never had a bad meal from them. If you want Chinese food that hits the spot every time, this is the place. Highly recommend!

The best salt and pepper chicken in Tameside

We don’t normally have an issue with these guys but the last 2 times really disappointing! both really late deliveries with the last time we will order from them again being tonight, we rang twice and got told a few minutes round the corner but then 20 mins later called again said we would rather cancel and have money back which we have but at 8.15pm now needing to find somewhere else, not good at all especially when we placed the order at 6.30pm

La comida era buena. Porciones recién preparadas y sabrosas y decentes. Decoración y ambiente bastante ordinario. El servicio era amable, si no demasiado rápido. Un poco en el lado caro, aunque la calidad era buena. Cargo por servicio incluido. Volvería.

Family owned and lady there was friendly, we had to wait a while but was expected since it was so busy on a Saturday night. Food was decent, noodles were unfortunately too salty (too much soy sauce), chilli beef was too chewy and soggy but the chicken, fried rice and curry was nice.
