Love this Chinese! Nicky, who seems to be always there, is a credit to this place. He answers the phone, takes payments, hands out the orders and we've never had any mistakes. If you do order for delivery it always comes far quicker than estimated. It will take a lot for us to look for somewhere different!

Ordered a takeaway to be honest the salt and pepper chicken like bullets over cooked . The seczhuan wasn’t spicy atall weak flavour. Yuk sung to dry a very generous 4 out of 10 don’t think I would order again

Disgusting service, I went to this takeaway as a treat for myself, I was starving and tried to explain my concerns about an item on the menu ie. Was it BBQ flavour ( I hate BBQ) and I was spoken to in the most patronising manner, and the young man got quite iterated with me, to the point I cancelled my order and left hungry. There are many other reputable Chinese takeaway establishments in this local area, that I will be using in future. Never again miss china.

So to start off I was very happy with the service I received, I placed an order to collect and it was ready when I got there. When I got home and dished mine and my partners meals they were great sized portions but unfortunately the omelette was very oily and the chow mein was rather dry. Not always had these issues but was disappointed on this occasion 😕

Ive just moved back to Coventry after moving away for University and oh my this is THE best takeaway I have had for a long long time, I came in as a collection and ordered at the till, the staff was amazing, really friendly. Definitely will be coming here again

Ordered sweet and sour chicken-balls with fried rice as part of bigger order, sweet and sour sauce not delivered, when rang to advise missing was told driver finished for the night at 9.30 pm! (Only delivered 10-15 minutes before) but still open until at least until 11pm response was will knock off next order and not prepared to deliver missing sauce - asked how I was expected to eat sweet and sour chicken without the sweet and sour?? couldn’t eat it too dry without! We order every week from them, attitude was terrible they couldn’t have cared less!! Mistakes happen but it’s what they do to resolve it that matters. Been out for the evening which is why we paid for delivery so couldn’t go and get any plus fact that meal would have been cold by time got back.

Best BBQ spare ribs I've had . Get price very clean and the staff are great . The large spring rolls are also very nice

Miss China Thank you for providing the food for my partners birthday. We ordered food for 15 people and the service and food was excellent. There were so many compliments on the quality of the food, 3 relatives even stating it was the best Chinese food they had ever tasted. I can't recommend this place enough. So I've been using Miss China for over 11 year's now and in all that time the food has been always hot and very tasty. Lot's of choice and variety. Brilliant staff always courteous. I would recommend anybody moving into the area to use them,you won't be disappointed.

The guy on the counter has very arrogant attitude Food is nice but horrible to deal with the young guy on the counter I have ordered one vegetable noodles , i asked him if he can put some chilly oil he said we don't have chilly oil ,, bit weird for a Chinese food restaurant not to have chilly oil ,, then i asked if he can chop half a green chilly as i do not like it to spicy i was shocked when he asked me to pay extra money for half a chilly I refused to pay and told him do not worry about it i do not want chilly , he turned his face walked to the kitchen and swear at me Horrible place Never again Only if i could not to give even 1 star

Has to be one of, if not thee best Chinese takeaways I've ever used. Never had a bad experience...these guys nail it from piping hot, absolutely delicious, great portion size food, to polite staff, to quick delivery. Thank you guys....please don't change!

Worst meal ever 1st payment error 2nd can of coke in bag delivered hot while chips were cold and stale. Main meal only half a tray full. Called too rectify these issues with a full blank refusal and told it was my fault, I hadn’t asked for the can of coke too be in a separate bag too hot food. I was informed that next time I should request this too be done. Surly 😕 common sense or perhaps food hygiene may have come into play. I was informed no one else had complained about having hot coke before. The lady was extremely rude and not at all concerned that the food I had delivered was in such poor quality and proceeded too blame me for her miss error of payment. Cold stale chips half a tray of what was ment to be a full dish. Followed by a warm can of coke. No offer too replace the meal or even a apology. Never again !

I ordered a mixed starter ,a large spring roll , Singapore chow mein , crispy beef Cantonese style in garlic and chilli sauce and prawn crackers . The food turned up piping hot and on time which was a plus , the downside was the taste of the food , the sesame toast you couldn't taste any prawns on it , the crispy beef Cantonese style in garlic and chilli sauce it had yellow brocolli in it I thought brocolli was supposed to be green and it led me to think about the freshness of the vegetables used in the dish it was also very bland I was expecting it to be a lot more spicy , the Singapore chow mein was very bland aswell , the spring roll was average I didn't see what was large about it compared to other local Chinese takeaways ,and finally the prawn crackers the best part of the meal if you ask me..I will stick to jumbo house from now on the food might be a bit more expensive but it is of consistently good quality and taste .WHY DOES BROCCOLI TURN YELLOW? As broccoli ages the florets turn yellow due to the break down of chlorophyll - the pigment that gives broccoli and other plants their green color. Same thing happens every fall when the leaves in the trees begin changing colour so your excuse for using yellow brocolli does not wash with me by saying it is not ripe ! You are using old brocolli !

I tried Miss China during lockdown, after frequenting all the other Chinese takeaways locally. This is by far the best quality I’ve had from anywhere. Very big portions and the boxes are always crammed full. The best thing is that it’s always full of super fresh vegetables and very nicely cooked. The quality is always consistent and I’ve never once had a bad meal in the last few years. It made me realise that other places just serve reheated food with shrivelled veg. The salt and pepper chicken is my fav and there’s so much chicken. I won’t go anywhere else now after trying here. Don’t worry about 2Pac on the phone, if anything, it’s amusing. The food is too good to let that put you off and “Life Goes On”.

I’m not one to complain, but this has to be said as I want everyone who reads this to COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND, I’ve never encountered anything like this when ordering from any Chinese or takeaway infact 1 the food is great!!! But the last 3 times using this place always a young lad on the counter guessing the SON! has such an arrogant attitude, towards me and another lady who I don’t know, while I was in the shop! He has no PEOPLE skills whatsoever ever, talks like 2pac! Shakur, has no time care or patience! Very rushy, and to put it frank RUDE! I still left being kind as can be but I must say his attitude being the face of a family business has made me not want to order from here anymore, I’m a paying customer not an inconvenience, the owners are GREAT and total opposite but unfortunately he clearly has issues and reading other reviews u will see people saying the same thing! Feel slightly bad leavin this review but I wouldn’t be ordering from here while the young lad is still their, I’d have him peeling onions in the kitchen!!! He has a massive CHIP on his shoulder and for the mum and dads sake, someone flick that chip off his shoulder, it just dosnt wash this day and age! RANT OVER! #2pac

Great food, good value, friendly staff and quick service.

Not long moved to the area and was looking for a decent takeaway, after reading the reviews here I thought it sounds great unfortunately that hasn't been my experience. The food tastes OK but nothing special. It turned up cold and when I opened the bag of prawn crackers after eating half the curry there was a very long dark hair in it. The beef and mushrooms curry was mostly full of onions. Disappointed with the whole thing.

The food here is a family favourite. However as someone else said, the gent who answers the call is extremely rude and ruins the entire experience. It actually puts us off from ordering. The lady who speaks is fantastic and very nice and we often just hope she answers, but she doesn’t answer the majority of the time, and it’s left to the guy. Overall great food but customer service is antagonising and rude by the gent. Shame really.

Had a fabulous takeaway on Thursday evening. The BBQ sauce on ribs is the best I have found, delicious with special meat chow mein. The crispy shredded beef really tasty and not too much chilli. Highly recommended 👌

Dont eat here, I was given the day before prawn and chicken balls reheated they brown in colour swollen with cooking oil. I have had this problem before and is a typical issue with takeaways being first customer of the day shouldn't mean you are sold bad food

I'm a regular customer, I was told my food would be an hours wait but delivery was nearly 3 hours. Edit: Thank you for your reply/explanation but I was not told of the delay at the time of ordering and only when chasing my order. However am I amending my review based on previous experiences. I've always had lovely food and the guys are amazingly friendly. Keep up the good work and pray for no more storms 🙏

Bought a large order from here for a works Christmas treat and all of us ended up bad and unable to do our Christmas shopping ... stay well away

We’ve been regular customers for a couple of years and the food has typically been good. The delivery times however have become increasingly poor, most recently clocking in at around 2 hours for a £30 order. I’d love to say that it’s worth the wait, but whilst the food is good, it’s not worth waiting two hours for.

Love love love Miss China. Their customer service is always spot on - whether over the phone or face to face. The food is always piping hot, generous portions & really tasty. I would highly recommend their pork yuk sung + mushroom chow mein. Keep up the good work :)

Ordered one meal with bbq sauce then got curry sauce was told I couldn’t return as my 8 year old daughter had eaten a chip (1) the meal had been started so return couldn’t happen then when called to complain the staff were very rude will never use again

The young man who answered the phone has disgusting attitude, very cocky and arrogant. The chips look like they’ve been cooked and reheated the chow mien is tasteless. Used to be lovely now I wouldn’t trecommend.

The best best chinese in Coventry, try it before judging!

First of all the guy on the phone was really polite. I appreciate that when they are clearly busy. Delivery was prompt around 25 minutes. The food was absolutely spot on. Piping hot, tasted good, and the meat was good quality. The only time I've phoned a takeaway back to thank them for great meal! Highly recommend 👍

Have tried many Chinese restaurants and this is by far the best for service, taste, and reliability. Am addicted to their peanut satay sauce. Have never had a disappointing meal and always arrives hot

Just had a take away for four after this was recommended. Piping hot food that was absolutely fantastic. My son has never finished a chow mien so quick! Phoned the order through, nice and friendly lady on the other end of the phone. Delivery was quick. Will definitely use again. Would have uploaded photos but the food went too quick.

Like many I can't fault the food which was good when it arrived. The customer service however was a complete joke!!! Called for delivery, frequently while taking my order the member of staff stopped talking to me to speak to someone (I presume on a mobile) about car repairs. When my order was finally taken was told 1 hour which on a Saturday night is understandable, absolute maximum 1 hr 25. I called at 1hr 25, to be told our order hadn't even left for delivery and when I said about how poor his attitude was when taking the order was told that could not have happened, when I said the phone call was in fact that disruptive and had caused enough concern by my family witnessing they suggested we go elsewhere he still wouldn't hear it. I asked if we would get a discount because of the poor service and he said no as it would be with us soon. We are less than a 5 minute drive from miss China. 20 minutes later so now 1hr 45 after ordering still no food!!! I call again and am told the driver is running late and am offered a small discount which considering how poor the service was should have been substantially more! As I said the food was good but took such a ridiculous amount of time, the person taking the order is appallingly rude and has 0 customer service ability. Someone please teach him some basic manners and respect such as giving a customer your soul attention when taking an order, don't deny your rudeness later and don't tell someone when they're order is already late that they're unreasonable and should have picked it up if they wanted it quicker!!!!!

Ordered a takeaway from Miss China on Friday 9th May 2020. We collected our Chicken Curry, Sweet & Sour balls, soft noodles, crispy beef, chips etc. Chicken Curry & sauce was very bland, actually tasteless and not very nice.....my family & I were not impressed for the £28.00+ we spent. we think the chef has changed and this is not the first time we have not enjoyed the food.

We live not too far away from Miss China and it is by far our favourite takeaway! We have ordered from here consistently for the past couple years and have never once been disappointed by the outstanding quality of the food and service. We ordered a set meal for 3 as there’s no way we could have chosen from the VERY extensive menu. You get a lot of food. Yuk sung and prawn toasts for starters, then pork, prawn and beef dishes plus spare ribs and prawn crackers, and two containers of specialities rice. The food itself is delicious and looks and tastes very fresh. The cost delivered was £31.20 and it arrived bang on time. It’s a real gem.

We ordered a range of food including a sausage and chips for one of the children. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the food was gorgeous and it was very reasonably priced too

We live in Balsall Common and Miss China is the best Chinese around this area! Consistently delicious and fairly priced. They do deliver but we find it’s quicker to collect it. On peak evenings you’d be looking at an hour for delivery but collection is never more than 20 minutes. We would recommend the chilli & salt king prawns and their yuk sung. Yum!
