The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South East

Found this place very late Saturday night, just before closing time, friendly staff and food was great, bit too far away from where we live or we would defo be back again

Fantastic place, working away, forget the negative reviews, food portions large, including the starters, tasty and staff, owners were fantastic, I will be back 😀

The young man and young lady that served us were very welcoming and friendly. (5* for their service)Definitely service with a smile! Beware though, the prices on the menus in the restaurant are out of date. We ended up paying £18 more than what was advertised, when I queried the price difference, I was told the prices went up but the menus haven't been updated yet. Food was okay, not the best. We won't be returning as we felt it was incredibly over priced and the food was nothing special. We visited Easter bank holiday and the restaurant was completely empty apart from us getting takeaway.

Excelente servicio, comida de muy buena calidad y porciones todo por un precio muy razonable. El ambiente era tranquilo e ideal para pasar un buen rato con aquellos queridas.

Take away was warm when arrived, portion size was a joke for price, small containers not even full no way worth the money, will not be using again.

Cracking portion size, excellent value for money and short wait despite a lot orders on the go... would recommend for cheap and cheerful grub!

The food is delicious and the owners are lovely, we hope to return soon

Alright, here’s the review you requested: Okay so, went there last week. It was alright, y’know? Nothing amazing, but not bad either. The food was decent, like, standard Chinese takeout fare. Service was quick, which is always a plus. I’d go back if I was in the area and craving something quick and easy. 3/5 stars.

Saturday night. Took our booking weren’t too busy but were gearing up for big groups. They Lost our order. Didn’t bother telling us Left us waiting an hour for food. Served both big groups. Still waiting. I was with 2 children. Never came over to ask or explain. Then sent a quarter of the order to the table and nothing more until I went and complained. Finally 15 minutes later the rest arrived. Over priced, terrible service, I will not be back. It used to be good. Such a shame.

Este lugar sirve algunos platos increíbles que realmente capturan la esencia de su rica cultura. El ambiente es acogedor y vibrante, por lo que es un gran lugar para reuniones. El servicio era atento, aunque un poco lento durante las horas punta. Los precios son razonables para la calidad que obtiene. En general, una experiencia encantadora que me hizo volver por más!

We had an amazing night celebrating my Dad’s birthday on New Years Eve. The food was delicious, hot and plentiful and the service impeccable… we were a table of 18 and we were so well looked after even though the restaurant was full…. Thank you for making my Dads birthday so special for all of us and hope to see you soon!

What a fabulous time we had, dinner at Yangtze Chinese restaurant in Windsor. We were a large group and their staff were efficient in bringing out the food and topping up our drinks. Excellent value for “Eat as much as you want”, the food is always good and it’s a great place for a group to share food. The staff have been there years and they can judge the amount of starters and duck pancakes you need for your party but will bring more if requested. You then choose your mains as required. They took photos of our party, brought out my Birthday icecream with a candle and the “Happy Birthday” song, even gave us complimentary liqueurs with the bill. It’s an annual event to go there and they always remember me. Definitely recommended for groups but not for couples wanting a romantic meal, it’s just not that kind of place. Very busy- seems to be more focused on takeaways rather than looking after sit down customers! In my opinion the food was ok but nowt special and overpriced

Is China China still open? I went down there with a business friend two Saturday’s ago- peak evening time - and the restaurant was closed. I called the China China number just now and the message was Number Unobtainable. One of my favourite, fun restaurants in town. Hope it’s only a temporary closure.

I travel from Reading to come here - its amazing. Best Chinese around! Don't hesitate, just book it and go! We go every couple of weeks without fail and the food never disappoints.
