I love this place nice food and music 🎶 i really enjoyed my last visit 😊

We saw poor reviews and nearly cancelled but we’re really glad we didn’t! A really lovely place with great service and amazing food! Don’t worry about the bad reviews this place is lovely!

A bad experience, we went at midday and there was probably 10-15 people sat down, the hot buffet trays were empty or barely any food available, we asked a few times if more food was coming out as we were a group of 6 of us , kept being told yes , we got asked what we wanted and one option was chicken wings ,20 minutes later we got handed a bowl with 2 cold wings, food was bland and tasted like it was reheated from the previous day, won’t be returning and the atmosphere was quite dull

Not a great deal of many options, but 95% of the options were quite tasty. That's not just my experience but those of my wife and 2 fussy kids.

Today my family went for the dinner. One of the waiter asked my daughter's age and I told she is 9. She is taller than her age and I told again she is 9. When I asked the bill to pay I noticed they add her as a adult without telling us. Normally they charge less for the under10. If they have a doubt about my daughter's age they need to ask proof for her age. We all felt disappointed about them. I arranged my daughter's 9th birthday party in here in January and I have posted it on her Youtube Channel. Came with the wife for an evening buffet and noticed that the place was empty with only a couple of tables occupied. The staff aren’t warm or welcoming and just pointed us to our table. There was a fairly decent selection of food available and the quality is generally ok but not amazing. There was a selection of Chinese & Indian cuisine and 3 types of Curries were available. They had a very limited choice of desserts that consisted of a chocolate sponge cake, a banana sponge cake, fruit salad and a few ice creams of various flavours. The restaurant itself appeared clean and tidy. I would say £18.95 per adult is ok, however I wouldn’t rush to go back

Great food and fresh, great value

Came here for lunch with my mother and step-dad a few days ago since we had come one time prior the day before. Was quickly seated and we went straight up to the buffet. Food is overall very nice but isn't restocked very often. The duck is only served after lunchtime and its quite chewy. The dessert is also quite nice as well. The coca-cola isn't just a petty little glass, its an actual pint. I recommend the satays and spring rolls, though its not really proper chicken. Seats are VERY soft and you sink into them when you sit down, a bit uncomfortable. We were sat down and a customer clumsily spilt his entire mountain of rice over our table. We asked for our bill and the person we asked totally forgot so we had to go up and pay there instead. Overall nice for a one time stop but we won't be returning soon, if ever.

Ordered a takeaway. Chicken chow mein was memorable by its lack of chicken. Must have been at most a fingers worth in the noodles. Even the vegetables in the sweet and sour was all sauce, very, very little vegetables. I paid just under £30 for two but thought that the food would be good. My mistake

Used to love this restaurant, but it has gone downhill. We went for lunch only to find most dishes were gone! We asked for more, and they reluctantly bought out 1 of the things we asked for. We asked to speak to the manager about the lack of dishes available. He was very rude, he smirked as we explained our disappointment. We will not be visiting again.

The noodels with chicken, prawn, beef and pork. Missing beef and pork, had only 2 prawns and few piece chicken missing some sause also.

Ordered Chinese food the special rice meat was gristly and chewy, the chicken balls looked like they were reheated and burnt the sauce well don't even go there it was to runny and way to sweet

Love coming here to eat with my family. Choices can be a little limited during lunch time sessions. My son has an allergy to dairy and I enjoy how each dish has its allergens above it so I can check what's safe for him to eat. I will say the only thing I recon could improving would be deserts as there wasn't much choice and certainly wasn't much my son could eat.

Nice buffet with Indian and oriental dishes. Went for lunch, the selection of items is limited. But, the taste is the right balance, not too spicy and not too mild.

Food was ok but broccoli and gravy had leaked everywhere and the two slices of cake were tiny for the price.

We dine here regularly with our two girls. The menu is child friendly but has remained the same for a few years, which is fine if you like it, but would be great if it had a makeover. The food quality is very good for a buffet, with a fair mix of dishes for all tastes. The service is above average with my only moan that waiters lean over you and your food to collect finished plates. You have to remember that this is a budget buffet, and you can pay up to double for a similar experience. All in all it is great value for money, and great food.

Used to be a regular. Now find the mumbling staff to be unclear as to what they were trying to say, disability intolerant, rude and engaging in inappropriate conduct (moving a visually impaired customers property to another table without their knowledge or consent leaving that customer trying to locate their bag) whilst rudely shouting at that customer to stop using the buffet as not all the food was out (leaving other customers confused). Would never ever go back

Best ribs in Tonbridge, and it's not even close. Great onion bhaji's (better than most curry houses around). Great curry sauce - and a huge tub of it, too. As long as you pick the right things from this place, you're in for a treat.

Buffet, not worth at all. We liked few items, the spicy chicken wings, crispy duck & pancake, chicken satay, plain fried noodles and the beef oriental style curry, dont remember the actual name. Food was really basic. Staffs were nice and helpful. dessert option was rather poor.

The food is great, I either order or go to the restaurant regularly and everything is great, but it is now the second time that I have received rice when I ordered noodles. Someone is not double checking the orders.

The satay chicken was missing the satay sauce and we were only given 5 pancakes instead of 6. Disappointing

We usually have a great time here, but tonight I pulled a hair out of the chicken .. I showed it to the manager, he just said it was my hair and I was just trying to get a discount. He argued with me so much it upset someone else in the restaurant and he said I was only doing it for a discount as the hair was “dry”. Utter rubbish as I showed him as soon as I found it. It’s usually great there but tonight the service was awful and I will never go back. Awful management and if I could manage to wrap my hair around a chicken stick in such a short time I should be in vegas.

My wife loves this place she's been going there for more than 15 years. The buffet price is about £18 for adults, and it's discounted for under 12s. They have a wide range of dishes and puddings, although if you are allergic to something like caffeine, chocolate or others it might not be a good idea to try the puddings as they use one scoop/spatula for all of them. The waiting staff are quite helpful and are always aware of when the table needs tidying. Toilets are okay but not hugely clean.

Not been for a while and has changed in a way that the food is not as good as it was. However staff and service are top notch

Tried this place with my partner tonight, I’m a very fussy eater so my opinion is not valid at all but my partner is the complete opposite and likes all weird and wonderful things. He was utterly disappointed, there was hardly any meat in any of the dishes and it cost us £55! The drinks were nice, but I was overly baffled about the jelly, being a plain Jane I was quite excited to see jelly but it was hard and tasted disgusting! Re the picture jelly shouldn’t look like this right? Safe to say we will not be returning.

Food was nice but I ordered at 1837 and it was delivered at 2028. The application was showing an estimated delivery of 1935-1955 at 2010. That is a flawed application....

As the old advert used to say, 'it does exactly what it says on the tin' you're not going to get a la carte cuisine but you will get decent food, and plenty of it. The only thing that lets the place down a bit is the very old decor. I've been a few times over the past 20 years and I don't think it'd been redecorated in that entire time. And the seats are some of the most uncomfortable you can get as they have zero padding. Saying all of that for the price you pay it's worth it

Went for lunch with my partner and was really looking forward to something different for lunch. The food… well what can I say…. AWFUL, cold and not replenished. There was hardly any options there, wouldn’t class this as a buffet at all. I am also disgusted with the price. First time I have ever left a buffet feeling hungry. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!

This restaurant has gone down hill, I have visited this place twice over the last couple of months hoping from my previous visit it would be better but no-we won't be going back, the quality of the food has deteriorated and the food containers are not topped up- at least 10 or more containers were mostly empty and no attempt was made to replenish them so I just took what was there-Hobsons choice-don't bother going here

Food selection was poor. Prawns battered with shell still on. The dishes were not refreshed at all, sauces had a film on top as they were not used in i can not imagine how long. Overpriced for the amount you have to choose from, very disappointed. Would recommend going elsewhere for a chinese.

I had always loved chinese food and buffet always was always been my favourite.Unlimted food for thd price was worth.I would recommend it to try.

It’s a small buffet, some dishes were really nice like the beef in black bean sauce but the other dishes were slightly basic. The sweat and sour chickens chicken pieces were so small it was hard to fish them out of the bowl. The ice cream was not nice at all, it was really tasteless and over frozen. It was an alright place I’d give it a 5/10.

This honestly has to be the worst food and meal I’ve ever had in my life!! I recommended it to a few friends as I had been here a year or two ago and it wasn’t too bad, we went for a meal last night and the food was absolutely awful! I complained about the food and was laughed at and ignored by the staff… our drinks were flat and were replaced by something completely different, the chicken balls were raw and doughy. The fosters they serve isn’t even fosters. We sent all our food back. I wouldn’t even give it to my dog. We was then given the bill of £108!?! I refused to pay then had my phone taken by the manager himself. Who then called the police. He blocked my fiancé while holding my 8month old son from leaving and he was absolutely screaming by this point. The other staff probably his family were all smug about it. Other customers were leaving and they said they will never be returning as it was appalling food. Horrible atmosphere. The place is covered in damp. I would never return to this place even if someone paid me to do so. The staff are ridiculously rude. They couldn’t give a care in the world for their customers. Save yourself the money and go elsewhere. Despicable service, way overpriced. Atmosphere like a funeral. DO NOT GO HERE. You will regret it!!!! p.s.. the good reviews funnily enough are written by the staff….

Watching Lewis and his rowdy family conduct themselves was embarrassing to watch. They were clearly after a free meal. They treated the staff awfully and were so rude. I bet their family dog would’ve behaved better. If they were disappointed, they could’ve handled it much better

Second week. We have had to complain. Last week wrong food. This week, stone cold and hiosin sauce was open all over the bag. We will not be ordering from them again.

My dinner was cold and my friend dinner was cold price was expensive don't care about people with disabilities and chair and table was dirty and not clean

I've tried the ribs in every Chinese in Tonbridge and these are the absolute best - both versions they sell. They are priced perfectly, too.

Food was ok but they are so so slow in refilling, sat there for 35 mins yesterday waiting for over half of the buffet to be refilled as empty and it just wasn’t coming sadly. Need more cooks or a bigger kitchen, sad as it ruined it and I won’t be back

I'd give a 1 but that sounds like I'm being dramatic and over the top. From my one experience here I'd say it is a terrible establishment. Food trays for buffet were pretty much all empty. And would be refilled very slowly so it was egg fried rice to pad out every plate. The Chicken in the jalfrezi was tough chewing like a Michelin pilot sport 4, yet the chicken in another dish had the same kind of bite in your mouth as quaker oats. The special fried rice I tasted was not too bad but I only got to try it once as it got the last bit and they never bothered to refill it. The beef in the black bean sauce for a first for me. Not because I've not had it before. But because I've never had beef that you could literally chew with just your lips. Good for people that have lost their dentures I'm sure. As an added extra. We think the menu was covered in curry as my dad had gained a curry stain on his shirt before we had even had any food. There's a KFC next door. Trust the colonel over this place.

Both partner and I have both come down with food poisoning after visiting here last night. Satay chicken was pink and prawns had been battered with their shells still on. All good was dry and had been sat there for what looked like a couple of hours without being changed or refreshed. Fridge for desserts looked tired and unclean. Staff couldn’t have cared less and told us that’s how prawns are always cooked. when reporting earlier today my wife was given the third degree by the person on the phone, wanting to know exactly what table we were at, exactly what time we ate and exactly what it was we ate and basically accusing us of not telling the truth.

Foods good. Generally, dishes are topped up frequently. Not the chepaest place to eat - 2 adults, 2 children 1 soft drink each was around £85.

Very terrible , 20 quid a person for dinner not including any drinks ( YES , NO FREE TAP WATER ) on a Sunday , only around 20 dishes that are not bad to eat , but either very sweat, salty , or oily just so you would buy a drink and they get more money , wouldnt recommend this place to anyone , such a ripoff . Also extra comment , when me and my family asked for chinese tea, they gave us an authentic teapot with 4 authentic teacups , but when i looked at the tea bag , i saw chinese words saying " Green tea " , being a hong kong person i feel very offended and discriminated , they should be reported for racism

The dirtiest place i have ever been in my life, i found hair on the food , i was discussed and im still in shock , about how dirty the windows , tables, chairs , toilet were . The buffet also was so poor and the containers were also in a bad shape . I can’t explain how uncomfortable i was being in a place like this . Never ever again .

Once upon a time this place was decent. I’d say reasonably priced drinks but food was awful, so much so my husband felt so ill once he was home he threw up! As someone else said it’s like Benidorm buffet slop. Chicken balls were so odd and stodgy I thought I’d had a dodgy one as didn’t hit any chicken until over 3/4 of the way through and the batter inside was bouncy. Satay chicken was half decent as were the noodles but the was just a bizzare selection of food. Hash browns??? Kept running out of things even though the restaurant only had about 5 tables of customers and they weren’t large parties either. Sadly no where near the standard it once was and needs desperately improving. Worst £70 for a 4 person lunch I’ve ever paid… wish I’d taken our sons advice and gone to KFC and saved £50! The best thing was the spring rolls and they were probably frozen.

Paid £12.95 each for honesty a bowl of slop that a pig wouldn’t even eat got a plate of sweet and sour, beef and black bean basically any meat dish in this restaurant if you can call it that has no meat all sauce spoke to the waitress she was clueless and when I went to pay and let the manager know nothing in this restaurant was edible he was equally dumber so save yourself from food poisoning and £12.95 per person

Staff were great but the place was pretty much empty and dark. Didn't have very high expectations to be fair to start with but was still a bit disappointed. Not much choice for a veggie and that was pretty much all gone or in fact Indian food! My friend who eats meat wasn't too impressed with the meat options. So much MSG that mouth dried out after. It's a shame really. As staff were nice.

Used this place many times over the last few years, normally very good food, went there weds and was very disappointed, the food tasted old and like it had been warmed up, couldn't eat the first plate and told staff, whos reply was new food was coming out. A lot of the trays holding the food were empty which cut the selection of choose down by a lot, it's a shame as this was once one of my favourite place to eat

Full spread of scrumptious Oriental nosh here and you can have as much as you can eat for one price. There are starters and dessert too, all top quality. Will return...
