Hands down one of the best restaurants in the UK. From the freshness of the food, the kindness and attentiveness of the staff and the general atmosphere. Can’t rate this place highly enough🤩🤩. I’m even getting hungry typing this review lol.

Food was mostly ok, chicken and mushroom gyoza were very good, but everything just not warm enough. Wasabi prawns, hard, overcooked and cold, felt like the shell was still on them. Then there is the water, comes in a Shan Shui branded bottle, so you are getting tap water or carbonated tap water for £3.50 a bottle. As it really tastes like tap water, I questioned this and was told it is on the menu as 'filtered water' like I should be ok with this. This is a licensed premises, it is illegal to sell tap water whether it is filtered or not. Absolutely shoked with their attitude.

Disappointing experience overall. The bubble tea was very watered down — 3 out of the 4 drinks had no ice, which really affected the taste. For the price, I expected better quality. Also, there were no cup holders provided, just flimsy paper bags, which made carrying multiple drinks awkward. Definitely overpriced for what you get.

We had dinner at Shan Shui. Went for the Chicken Char Sui Bao Buns, Veg Spring Rolls, Seafood Noodles. Food was amazing, seafood noodles had fresh king prawns, mussels and the udon noodles were to die for.

I had lunch at Shan Shui a lot of times. I recommend their King Prawn Fried Rice and Chicken Bites. Nario and Hafiz were extremely helpful, welcoming and always offer good service.

My favorite restaurant in Bicester Village! Delicious food, refreshing cocktails, and great service. I had the spicy mala chicken and a Singapore Sling—both were good. Don’t forget to order tea so you can get a cute pot in front of you. The inside can sometimes feel a bit stuffy, but they have heaters outside, making it cozy yet breezy. Hafiz served us last December; I’m not sure if he still works there, but he made my friends and me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I visited here a few weeks ago with my mum as well. Ginger beef was good too. If your asian mum or in-laws visit you, bring them to bicester village for shopping and have a lunch or dinner here. Never failed.

My sister and I had dinner at Shan Shui in Bicester Village on a quiet Tuesday evening just before 6 PM. Since it wasn’t busy at all, we were seated straight away, and the whole atmosphere felt calm and relaxed. From the start, the staff were warm and welcoming. Our waitress, Suzanne, took our order and checked in on us throughout the meal, making sure we had everything we needed. She was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The restaurant has modern decor, and because it was quiet, we could properly enjoy the setting and our meal without any rush. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience—good service, a relaxed atmosphere, and a genuinely friendly team. If you’re in Bicester Village and looking for a nice place to eat, I’d definitely recommend giving Shan Shui a try.
